My Companion on long Drives I love this feature. Some people get annoyed with the monotone of the computer "GPS" voice but I listen past this and enjoy the content thats read aloud to me. Our Chattering monkeys (Inner voices) tends to be a mono tone so I don't see why this annoys some people. Granted the way the app deals with " could be improved

Generally poor. No variable speed, much too fast, bad interface

No adjustable speed. Voice read the text much too quickly to enjoy, no way to slow it down. Awkward integration of voice reading into the interface.

I use the free SVOX TTS engine on HTC Desire along with a purchased SVOX voice. It's a shame WordPlayer can't make use of this to improve its reading.

Amazed that this actually works with Loquendo. Problem is that wordplayer garbles up the books and thus makes the TTS pretty hard to understand.

Needs a pause button and tends to start a chapter over instead of where you left off. Not bad though. Convinient.

Wow! It really WORKS. I cant believe on my old G1 I was able to let the VOICE READ TO ME.IDK why ppl rate bad? Install TTS extended less robotic voice
