Bubbalon 2.0 is a complete location-based sentiment-sharing tool that allows users to “check out” anything and everything. Many location-based applications focus on check-ins, and very few do the opposite. And, in real life, check-ins is only half the game. Bubbalon 2.0 is a step toward integrating sentiment feedback into an everyday behavior, and users are rewarded for “check-outs” with karma points, ribbons, and pins. The equivalent of a “mayor” is called a “master”.  By contrast to check-in apps, bubbalon doesn’t just focus on places. It also focuses on “stuff”. You can be a “fan” of your car, or a “fan” of a personality, or a “master” of chess. So in each geo area it becomes pretty clear what people are into, and it is also helpful to know what your friends love and hate (about this and that). BTW, instead of “friends” we now say “following” or “followed by” — easy concept, known to many from Twitter. So here is the list of “new and improved” (duh) Bubbalon 2.0!

Adds your Foursquare friends into your Contacts address book, and re-syncs them when their details change.

Syncs all of your friends contact information including...
* Name and Photo
* Phone number and email address
* Facebook and Twitter accounts
* Home City and Last Check-in Location (including Shout-out message)
* Gender and User ID

To use this application, go to your "Settings" menu and choose the "Accounts and Sync" option. You can then "Add" a new account, and Foursquare should appear in the list.

To change how often your Foursquare contacts are updated from the server, go to your "Settings" menu and choose the "Accounts and Sync" option. Choose the "Foursquare" account, then choose the "Account Settings" option.

Pub Scout shows you pubs and bars that are open around you so you're never lost after last orders has been called. You can also find venues simply by holding down and releasing a point on the map, or by entering a location or pub name. For something more specific, you can search by events, features and opening times.

We have a comprehensive London listing, so if you're going to the Olympics, whether at the Olympic Park or elsewhere, check out where to go for a pit stop.

What sets Pub Scout out from Fancyapint, Beer In The Evening or similar websites and apps is that all our listings have opening and closing times, and where available, features and events. So whether it's a nice cold continental pint you're after or a proper ale, Pub Scout will show you where to go. Even if you're after the football in 3D, somewhere with darts, a pool table, beer garden, jukebox or comedy, Pub Scout will do it's best to take you to what you're after.

A couple more points to note – we only ever display a certain number of pubs to make Pub Scout work a bit faster and get you somewhere even when you're relatively low on connectivity. If you want to search another area, just hold and release that part of the map.

Our Twitter feed can be slow at times; sadly we can't control how much data is fetched so all we can ask is please be patient. It does work, but probably not if you have low connectivity.

Oh, and we get notified if your app crashes. So if it does happen, you'll be pleased to know we'll get someone on it immediately to try and fix the problem.

La poésie est un genre littéraire très ancien aux formes variées, écrites généralement en vers, mais qui admet aussi la prose, et qui privilégie l'expressivité de la forme.
