Text Everywhere allows users to receive and send SMS messages on their Android device using their telephone number provided by their Carrier.

As the name implies, you can have as many devices for one phone number and SMS is available simultaneously on all the devices registered.  The same SMS is available over the web browser for quick search and will be available on the TV as well for certain setup boxes in the future.  

However, this app will only work when used in conjunction with a carrier offering the Neustar Text Everywhere service. If interested in the service send an email to texteverywhere@neustar.biz and let us know what carrier services your telephone number (AT&T, Paetec, etc)

Its a true SMS service provided by your carrier unlike other SMS services which are email based.  It requires a username/password before you actually use this application from your carrier.
