This app is in the beginning stages of development for the Dallas Jewish Community. We will be adding Dallas businesses and synagogues weekly over the next few months.

Our goal once this app is fully completed is to

*Enable members of the community to keep up to date with synagogue events

*Enable synagogues to reach out to members about events, donations, services, etc.

*Provide a platform for local Jewish business professionals to promote their businesses/services

*Enable visitors and new residents to reach out to the community

*Keep the community up to date with local events (Secular and Non-Secular)

*Provide popular news feeds from Jewish newspapers

*Provide on the go Jewish learning from various podcasts and popular blogs

*Allow local charities to reach out for donations, services, needs, etc.

About APNA ILAKA :-

Apna Ilaka is a geolocation application.
Apna Ilaka can be used for finding the Facebook users nearby.
User can check the Facebook friends nearby and track their location, view their Facebook profile and see there latest posts. The user can filter out the list of Facebook users nearby and the Facebook friends nearby.
The user can check all the places , shops , confectionaries , hangouts nearby.
In places column the user can use click to call button to call the shopkeeper , or see the location of the shop/place on browser/google map .

How it works :-

Everytime the user uses the application ; its latitude / longitude is sent to the server and the nearby places and facebook friends are shown in the list.
You also need to login into the application using Facebook sdk.

Future Commits :-

We beleive in enabling the other menu items also in future :-
1. Offers
2. Buy and Sell
3. Events
4. Services (More like barter system)

All the above menu item list will be generated according to the users current location. We promise to make a complete geolocation application.

Note:
For every user who logs into our application we pledge to grow a tree.
Every user who logs into our application will receive another apk in 24 hours regarding the location and driving direction of where we have planted the tree for that particular user. With global warming being the major concern and nature being the most important and beautiful gift a human could ever have we would like to do this bit in order to make earth a better place.
