MyNiño Application is developed with an objective of tracking one’s child using Smart phones. The Application is cross platform friendly ie. Parent and Child Applications can be for different Smart Phones like Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows, Symbian or J2ME. The Android MyNiño Application is a single application with user selection of Parent or Child installation.
Parent Installation - Parent Application when installed on an Android Smart Phone helps you receive reports of All Call and SMS (incoming and outgoing) and Location of your child from the Child Application installed in your child's smart phone via a web server. Parent will be able to see the reports for each child individually. The child's smart phone should have MyNiño Child Application Installed and running for this (the child application could be on any available platform). It is pertinent to install and register the Parent Application before installing the Child Application.
Child Installation - The child application when installed on the Android Smart Phone shows a Gallery Express Slide-show of the device's native picture gallery. The Child Application works in the background and generates the reports anonymously without the child user knowing its true intentions. The reports are than transmitted to the MyNiño Parent Application via a web server.
