LynnHappens.com is an independent online resource for event information sharing and discussion. In that spirit, LynnHappens collects links to local non-profits, neighborhood groups, as well as area blogs.
At its core, LH is a place to find out what is happening. As an extension of that purpose, it provides opportunity to submit editorials of a local nature, original news articles, photos, audio, videos, creative content, and advertisements.
LynnHappens also maintains an active events calendar. To notify LH of your event, use “Submit” in the top menu. Please keep details to the important few and provide a working URL or .jpg image where readers can find more information. LH doesn’t know everything. It only knows what you tell it. Active users may be awarded with a limited-access login to add events to the calendar on their own.
LynnHappens.com Editor, Seth Albaum, has twelve years of experience in community media and in training volunteer media producers, starting in low power FM radio, then branching to cable access television. He is currently teaching Video Production and Broadcast Journalism at the high school level. He attributes his “Highly Qualified Teacher” status as well as his precariously balanced financial status to Emerson College in Boston. He has no background in print or online journalism to speak of.
