Mostly good, but bad pictures Most features work well and are easy to use. However, most pictures never load and when a picture is clicked it usually shows up as a tiny thumbnail even with attachment quality set to Ultra. Image viewer just shows a bar of off-center placeholders with no pictures. Samsung GS4 on 50Mbps and 4G-LTE.

Not bad Works fine for the most part. Sometimes it takes a little longer to connect, but it connects. For the past couple days though, I haven't been able to post pics; it just crashes. Sometimes pics don't load in general either.

Great online, app crashes I have been a viewer if HBT for some time. Glad when I found this app. Downfall the app crashes after update. I had to uninstall and then reinstall with manual updates. I'll just ignore until it's fixed. Hopefully soon!

Update ruined a good app Evo 4g... The app won't even open, just crashes and makes my phone run very slowly. Uninstall. It may have been comprised with spyware

Need some love Browsing pictures is horrible. Ad gets in the way of scrolling. Can't see peoples locations. Search doesn't work. Push notifications are broken. Just make it as good as the iPhone app, and I'll be happy. Overall, a pretty horrible attempt.

Bad with links The app is pretty good, but it really needs to deal with linked posts properly. When I click a link to another post it opens my web browser. On top of that, I get a popup telling me about the android app, which is what sent me there in the first place.

Notifications Needs work with notifications. My phone rings and vibrates each time someone posts on a thread I've participated. Regardless of me disabling push notifications and logging out.

Excellent Resource! This application is excellent! I have been wanting to get into homebrewing and this application is a great educational resource. Its stable on my phone, has an easy to use interface, and has up to date forums. I don't really use it to search however, so i can't comment on that functionality.

Needs a bit of work I'm glad that there's an app to access the forums, but this really needs some work to make it great: better search (as suggested by other reviews), open forum links within app (both for links within posts when clicked in the app, as well as in mobile search results like the YouTube or Yelp apps), etc. Little things that would greatly increase the usability.

OK app. It's a good app for checking private messages and subscribed threads, or browsing the forums. It sucks at searching for anything specific; just returns the most recent threads that may contain your query somewhere within. Update this to the "advanced" search on the website and then it would be a great app.
