Friends Sync в Android Market

Adds your Facebook friends into your Contacts address book, and re-syncs them when their details change.

Syncs all of your friends contact information including...
* Name, Nickname and Photo
* Home Town, the City they're Currently Living In
* Last Check-in and Status Message
* Gender and Birthday
* Religious and Political Views
* Tagline and Relationship Status

To use this application, go to your "Settings" menu and choose the "Accounts and Sync" option. You can then "Add" a new account, and Facebook should appear in the list.

When adding a Friends Sync account, you are able to choose to sync "All Friends" or "Contacts Only". Choosing Contacts Only will only sync your Facebook friends that have their details stored in your phone already - all other Facebook friends are ignored. A contact must have their email address or their first and last names stored in your phone in order to create a match with a Facebook friend.

To change how often your friends are updated from the server, go to your "Settings" menu and choose the "Accounts and Sync" option. Choose the "Facebook" account, then choose the "Account Settings" option. This is also where you can change the Sync Type between "All Friends" and "Contacts Only"

Good but there's some really big problems. This app continues to update some of my closest contacts with status's of random people I don't even know. "Sync contacts only" syncs EVERYONE too.

The "contacts only" option does NOT work It would be great app, if the "contacts only" option would work. Unfirtunately this app, regardless of this setting, downloads ALL of the contacts from facebook, which makes it, in my case, usuless... :( Also, by click the button on the cotnact it would be nice if it opened a facebook app (if installed), instead of starting the browser.

I'm wrong Sorry, my previous review is not adequate, I'm completely wrong. This app will not merge info from FB in Gmail contacts, it will only "display" it in contacts list, so no edits permit. Disappointing.

One bug I noticed I chose the option to sync only contacts already in my phone, but it synced ALL of my Facebook friends anyway. Frustrating, as now I have two entries for many people in my phone (those who Facebook Sync couldn't match up). Not sure if there's any way to easily reverse/undo this action. I have a lot of manual contact book cleanup to do I think.
