Collebo is a place that was invisionned while I was sitting in Afghanistan. Anyone
that has been deployed, knows how hard it may be to get a morale call, or to even
have internet that is faster than a dial-up connection. Because of this, going to 20
different sites becomes very difficult and staying in contact with our loved ones,
or our friends becomes very difficult and puts added stresses on our relationships
with the people in our lives in an already very stressful environment. I decided to
do something about it.

Ask Mom! (v. 1.1)

I asked my kids to come up with some fun questions to ask Mom. The questions turned out to be really cute and thoughtful! A couple other kids added some questions they would like to ask their Mom -- and next thing we knew (with the help of a couple talented programmer friends) we created the “Ask Mom” app!

It is a very simple App (but maybe that is why we like it so much)! If your child doesn’t read yet, that’s ok. They can simply tap the words on the screen and the question will be read out-loud for them.

Ob Schlaglöcher, stehende Pfützen bei Regenwetter, behindertenfeindliche Gehsteigkanten, zugewachsene Gehwege und Verkehrsschilder, mangelhafte Bus-Haltestellen, falsch eingesetzte Kanaldeckel oder Schäden an öffentlichen Einrichtungen - alles was ärgert, kaputt oder mangelhaft ist oder überhaupt fehlt, wird hier unbürokratisch an die zuständigen Stellen der Stadt- bzw Gemeindeverwaltung übermittelt, die sich bemühen werden, die Mängel so schnell wie möglich zu beheben. Jeder Hinweis auf Problemstellen ist herzlich willkommen.
