This application is a Greek Nameday Calendar based on the Greek Eastern Orthodox Calendar. The application has been ported from another popular mobile platform. The application was for months the #1 application in the Greek App Store, while it is still one of the most downloaded applications.

The displayed holidays cover most Eastern Orthodox namedays and all movable feasts such as Easter, as well as other important dates and anniversaries. To go from one day to another, just use your finger and the screen will slide to the next day.

Η εφαρμογή Γιορτές αποτελεί ένα Ελληνικό εορτολόγιο όλων των μεγάλων ονομαστικών γιορτών του ορθόδοξου ημερολογίου. Αποτελεί μεταφορά στην πλατφόρμα Android της πολύ δημοφιλούς εφαρμογής «Γιορτές» που υπάρχει για την πλατφόρμα iPhone, όπου την Άνοιξη του 2009 ήταν για μήνες η πρώτη εφαρμογή στο Ελληνικό App-Store και συνεχίζει σταθερά να είναι από τις εφαρμογές του ελληνικού iPhone με τις περισσότερες μεταφορτώσεις.

Η εφαρμογή εμφανίζει ένα ημερολόγιο όπου αναφέρονται οι γιορτές της τρέχουσας ημέρας. Για να μετακινηθεί ο χρήστης σε κάποια άλλη μέρα, αρκεί να κυλίσει το δάκτυλό του οριζόντια στη σελίδα, προς τα δεξιά ή τα αριστερά, και η ημέρα θα αλλάξει.

Οι γιορτές που καλύπτονται είναι οι περισσότερες του εορτολογίου, καθώς και όλες οι κινητές εορτές με βάση το Πάσχα, ενώ επίσης εμφανίζονται και διάφορες άλλες σημαντικές ημερομηνίες και επέτειοι.
