[2012-08-14] Jason: Nice, free, simple Love it. Worked for me. |
[2012-08-11] Yasin: Doesn't work... with phpbb 3.10. But I'm still rating 5* as it's free. Genuine effort and some ppl are just harsh for rating so low. It clearly works for some and it doesn't for others. Be fair to the developers |
[2012-08-03] Michael: Never fixed Emailed 2 phpbb boards that didn't work. No reply or anything. Still not work with multiple phpbb boards I use. |
[2012-07-29] Jimbo, Jim Jim, Jim, Beluga, Bugge: Doesn't work Tried on regular phpbb forum. Uninstalled |
[2012-06-20] the 7/26/2012 Uninstalled. Didn't list all forums. Couldn't load any posts in the forums it did display. phpBB. |
[2012-06-18] William: No go Wouldn't connect to my phpbb |
[2012-06-10] TheTaberFamily: Excellent Excellent, very clean looking |
[2012-06-08] John: Java connect exception - no forum It's recognised the forum type (and labelled it), tries to log in but then throws an exception. |
[2012-05-26] email: Works well with my phpbb 3.x I quite like this application and it works decently on phpbb3.x it seems not to be working on vbulletin though. As suggestion it would be good to see images or at least open them somehow. also attachment function would be great. But i can read and reply on a easy to use application which really is nice...well done and keep updating it. |
[2012-04-26] Mark: Images +1 for Craig's commernt.. "scale-able images are needed" or atleast the ability to press and display in a larger view |
[2012-04-20] Sean: nice does what it says (unlike almost all others) great stuff ! |
[2012-04-19] Juan: could be better. fasy and simple but needs ability to add new posts, not just browse. |
[2012-03-20] Crow: Sucks Doesn't even recognize vbulletin engine.. |
[2012-03-14] Marius: Java connect error Problem fixed. All i did was to add / at the end of the url. Also, don't forget www ;-) I'd give it 5* if i could modify signature |
[2012-03-05] Nik: Didn't work! Emailed dev twice - no response. Uninstalled! |
[2012-02-15] ui: Best forum viewing app I rarely leave reviews but I have to say that this is the only app I've found so far that allows me to view forums that doesn't require the administrator of the forum to install a plugin. And it's free! Keep up the good work forumtouch dev.! |
[2012-02-03] Vchat20: First app I've seen that actually works! Let me elaborate on the review title, although I am sure many reading this already know what I am talking about: Every other 'Forum Reader' app on the market that I have tried so far have always fallen short in that they require extra code or plugins installed on the forum itself to facilitate the app. I am a member of a number of forums that would make this impossible to do for one reason or another. ForumTouch though has worked great on many of such forums with not a single site of mobile-oriented code. FINALLY someone got it right! And with that said, it actually does it reasonably well! Only reason I give it 4 stars is it does have a few minor bugs here and there needing to be sorted out and forum compatibility issues, but nothing big. And I am almost certain the forum compatibility issues are primarily down to the forums themselves being a bit TOO customized. There's only so much that a (what essentially boils down to) a screen scraper can do when stuff doesn't show up where it expects. :) |
[2012-01-02] Ann: ??? Can't tell if this renders forums well or not. Constant FC when I try to add a forum. DesireHD CM7. |
[2011-12-21] Katon: Problems with login When I tried to go to my forum, it gave me a java error. It was fixed by specifying index.php at the end. However, it failed to log into my forum no matter what. |
[2011-12-11] Craig: Good effort so far, but scale-able images are needed to actually see what people have posted. Any option to view only my posts? |
[2011-12-09] s0nicfreak: Does't work. I'm on a HUAWEI Comet, and I too am getting nothing but the Java error. I wish it worked. |
[2011-12-08] Victor: Getting better I can add my forum but getting a java connect error. |
[2011-12-05] Jerry: Keeps FC whenever I try to add a forum on EVO. Please fix |
[2011-11-22] Oliver: Great idea! Just fix it. Finally i find one that supports mybb but it forcecloses! |
[2011-10-04] paulus: Great app.. |
[2011-09-28] Fransiska: Mybb I like mybb features |
