This application is an implementation of the Facebook mobile website written into an application to allow advanced features. It uses the official Facebook SDK to provide features such as notifications.

Please note this application should be considered an optimized web browser for http://touch.facebook.com - any page you see in this application can be accessed using your default Android browser.

The advantage of using an application is that features such as notifications, contact sync and direct photo/video uploads can be integrated directly into the Android operating system. At the moment notifications have been implemented. More features will be added in future updates.

Great App Great app, does well, I believe it works better than the DB app. Only two things that I would like to see it do, delete posted comments, and when you go back to the news feeds from reading a comment or viewing a pic, it starts back at the top, frustrating, oh, sync to contacts would be nice so then I could delete the Fb app and never look back. Even with this, I would still STRONGLY recommend this app

Used to be good til latest update, now buggy This used to be good app last autumn 2012. Now buggy, no copy paste, what happened to share?...glitchy. notifications repeat annoying as stated by others. Photo, video iffy.

Better than the official app 10x smaller file size. Compared to the official FB app which keeps on eating my memory. Faster. A faster browsing with smooth transition to different Facebook pages. Notifications. The best feature I want. Eventhough it can be browsed through mobile browser but the edge is the notification. It's just like having the officjal app installed.

I like this app.... Besides repeatedly sending me notifications for stuff I had either looked at and/or responded to already....like every second within 2 hours.....I'd have given 4-5 stars. Pretty annoying, yall might wanna look into that. Uploading photos went pretty smoothe. Also, grateful for not many force closes. I dont care for the additional box that pops up when leavingcomments or responding to messages. Its rather messy for this apps type of interface. Its pointless, get rid of it. Otherwise, I'll keep for now.

Why is it like this Great app, super convenient, doesnt run in background. But I have to say, EVERY time I go to paste something in a status or comment all I get is "Select Text" and just because of this issue I have to go and download another facebook app to get around it. Good stuff I particularly like that it doesn't take up much room at all. A little buggy every now and then when I try to share from the web.

Love it! This blows the Facebook app away on a slower phone. Much faster and now I can share posts. Couldn't on Facebook app. Only problem is it always notifies for the same notification unless you check the notification. Add option to disable certain notifications, if possible. Also an option for quiet time would be useful.

Good developer Happy to hear that the upload button is fixed, but the upload speed is very slow even though i'm using wifi. Cant paste text as the 'select text (beta) ' pops up when i tab and hold. Although i'm using jelly bean, scrolling is laggy.
