Welcome to the all-new ElJay 2, a LiveJournal client for Android devices!

Now you can easily post blog entries to your LiveJournal, or many other services that use the LiveJournal code, like Dreamwidth, InsaneJournal, and DeadJournal. Posting entries support location and GPS, user pictures, moods, tags, and more. Friends list browsing is available for LiveJournal users as well.

Requires a pre-existing account at LiveJournal or another third party service.

some glitches For some reason, on my samsung, the keyboard completely obscures the text field for the entry. Very aggravating. Also gave me an error when I tried to save an edit, even after repeated attempts.

Good but no picture upload Real shame - the app is really good, but there is no picture upload function that you have via official app, however, you cant view entries via official app!!

Great but.. Great but missing a few features. Please add a share option for read it later, and option to select icon when commenting on an entry. View on web does not work, also. Otherwise, it is sad that the official app can't even do what this can. Under 1 mb is awesome

Error when trying to post to Deadjournal Does not work as advertised. Location error when trying to post to Deadjournal. Even turned all location info off in settings in vain attempt to fix on my own. Looks like it would be exactly what I'm looking for, except it doesn't do what it says.

Doesn't work for Dreamwidth It's okay if you're looking for a livejournal client, but I got it for posting to dreamwidth. Even after clicking on the 'dreamwidth server', it still won't post to dreamwidth, only livejournal. False advertising, uninstalling.

Missing integration features Отличное приложение для чтения лент и ведения своего журнала. Но нехватает интеграции с системой. Самой востребованной фишкой была бы такая: - BOLD предлагать это приложения для открывания ссылок на ЖЖ. /BOLD Дополнительно: - интеграция с контактами (возможность связать контакт в телефонной книке с профилем в ЖЖ, как это реализовано для Twitter, Facebook, Vk, etc.) - интеграция с функцией Share

Wow Friends list and comments reading - awesome!! To do: photos uploading/posting, when posting in landscape mode on 800x480 screen body text field is completely overlayed with keyboard.

Much better since update Samsung Epic 4G Log in issues fixed. Viewing friends not a problem. All options functioning as intended. Other functions desireable but it dos what it claims well.

Currently kinda useful (User icons not loading) Seems to work fine, but why do I have to keep logging in Every. Single. Time? Additionally, user icons are not loading at all. Having a tag list would be useful and the inbox for messages.
