Widget So I am still getting force closes across 2 different devices but that's not the thing that really bugs me. When you guys added the Zip it feature instead of just blocking stuff, I now have a bunch of stupid stuff in my widget with no apparent way to filter it out. Making the widget almost unusable. Other than that I greatly enjoy the app

It was great... ... alternative to Facebook app, but for a couple off weeks it had just crashed on on start both my tablet and phone... Me be someday I'm able to give five stars again. I hope so. (Reinstalling or removing it from Facebook's app list didn't help.)

Best app out there for Facebook. After trying out like 6-7 different apps, I've settled down with Friendcaster. However, lately push notifications don't seem to be working at all unless I manually open the app. Can this be fixed?

Continued disappointment Well, another update and more fail. Registered to the new GDM or whatever nonsense notifications, sat back and nothing. Opened the app and NINE pop up. All from various points in the day. Now forgive me if I'm wrong but aren't push notifications supposed to deliver them on time or at least CLOSE to the event itself. Your app is pathetic and your customer service is appalling. Funny how they worked fine before your last two updates, in response to your reply.

What happened with the Likes list? There used to be the link to list who like your post. It's not there anymore.

Blank post and... Invalid response errors. Links posted by friends don't show in the feed. Still getting error that causes me to login again when clicking the links that DO show.

Poor This used to be my number 1 app for facebook last year but now from all the updates i couldnt upload any pictures any longer even on a high speed internet. Always failed to post pictures. Notification are not on time too. I hope i didnt purchase this app. So disappointed.

Used to be goo... now not so much Too many 'invalid response' errors -- logging out and back in doesn't fix them, and there doesn't seem to be any forthcoming fix from the dev. Too bad, as this used to the the best Facebook client on Android by a wide margin. UPDATE: The latest update seems to have fixed the 'invalid response' errors that were so common before. Some other issues (contact photo synchronization) are not working for me any longer. UPDATE 2: Not worth the effort any more... Too many unfixed problems -- it's no longer worlds better than the Facebook app; it's worse than the Facebook app. Uninstalled, and recommended uninstalling to other users I know.

No Better! Here we are again with the latest bug! Constantly syncing Facebook contacts no matter what the setting is. Thus duplicating birthdays EVERYTIME in the phone calender. Obviously there are other bugs as listed by other users. Don't worry, developers will fix. LOL Yeah right!

On Tf201 with Jelly Bean, Yes! When Friendcaster pro works. Its feature rich and looks great. When it misbehaves it is always Facebooks fault. I have been using chrome of late to go on fast book, its slow but at least it works and I can log in reliably.

Great app! Update: Please add the ability to customize privacy for Check ins. I have just spent an hour changing all of my check ins to friends only. The default is public! Great app! Hands down 10 times better than the official FB app. Wanted features: Post viewing permissions, better pages management (for managing your own pages).

Third party privacy policy It's not anything that Friendcaster can do about, but be aware that more and more users restrict their profile access and don't allow third party apps to see it. That means Friendcaster won't very able to see comments and updates from those friends. It's a pita.

It's a dd.. When you long press a post and click likes the box shows up without a list of names (it shows up as a blank box.) Otherwise it's a really nice app.

Bugs A merely adequate app. Not much better than Facebook's junk. Notifications often don't work. Even if you deselect the option to open news feed at launch it still goes to it. Tapping on a Group notification gives a blank page. I don’t think I got my money's worth.

Almost Perfect! This is what the official Facebook app should look like! I love Friendcaster's layout and additional functions. ZipIt is my favorite function, which gives me the ability to mute people or Facebook apps that I don't want clogging up my newsfeed. I would love to have the ability to Zip shares too. Add that for an additional star and the perfect app!

GS4 I like it because it's not a resource hog like the Facebook app and it's customizable. The downside is sometimes it won't load my friends recent posts or pictures or give me all my notifications. If the next update doesn't fix all the little bugs I may have to go back to the official app :(.

INSANITY Instead of leaving crappy ratings and reviews, CONTACT THE DEVS! Prior to that, A LOT of ya'll need to actually do some work ur- selves ~ go to the website, & READ ...better yet, take a refresher in android 101. WAS a great app Still is when it works. More and more problems keep popping up, some of which make it almost unusable. Randomly (and often) mixes up pictures and posts, showing things like profile pics from unrelated friends instead of friends' posts. Lots of errors all the time, forcing re-login (which doesn't fix it). The most disturbing issue for me is when I try to see the likes on my posts and the app retrieves the wrong names. Names that aren't friends of mine or my friends. Makes me wonder if my information is safe.

This is ridiculous. When I paid for this app a long time ago, the Facebook app was absolutely terrible. Now Friendcaster is the one giving me constant error messages- every time I view a picture or anything, it tells me there was an invalid response and when I log in and back out or even remove and re- add my account, it does nothing. Please fix, or I'm going back to the Facebook app and recommending all of my friends that I swayed towards this app to do the same!
