Blah Installed new update and it still sucks. I don't get notified when I get messages. I have to sign off and back in to send a message because it locks up sometimes and won't send.....old version was MUCH better

Epic fail This app is a peice of crap. Wont let me,log in, wont let me make a new one. And when I sign in with face book it tells,me none of my friends are ever on. But I have no problems with logging on or seeing my onlone friends on my computer.

Major issues This new version is so buggy that it is virtually useless. Half of the time I cannot sign in, whether its 3/4G or WiFi, the loading icon ring keeps spinning. Aside from that, it doesn't keep up to date messages. Some chats that you close keep popping up.

New AIM is LAME. Get back to basics, guys. This new AIM is a tragic failure in comparison to the more classic versions. The sync doesn't even work correctly anymore, which was the one and only good feature to AIM Preview and this AIM App.

1.10 Went back to the real AIM. Do what everyone says and Google AIM 1.10...you can download it there. Don't forget to turn off automatic update for AIM, though. I had the new version for a while...it's crap.

What is wrong with this thing? I'm so disappointed with this new version It's disgusting. It forces close when I open it, spams me when it doesn't close, so I HAVE to close it. I don't get alerts when i get one's and over all its just a bad experience when i use it. If you can't handle all the problems, go to the old version and fix it all. Might as well give yourself a break and go to the old version because this is just full of problems and its giving you a bad rep. -_-

Getting there... I use this app to text people quicker than I could with my touch screen phone. I'm using it with MotoXoom with a bluetooth keyboard. I was unsuccessful in sending or receiving pictures. There's not enough fields to store contact information in or categorize contacts. Occasionally force closes when you first open it. Can't forward texts to your mobile when you're offline like the old desktop version. Pretty stable app, not the easiest to use, no personalization options such as avatars, colored fonts, etc. Could use more settings, options, friend lists, and go install an old copy of AOL 9.5 if you don't remember what aim used to do. Lol

Beware mobile data! App is excellent on my 4G tablet, but my bandwidth tracker says it used 220MB in less than a week of 4G data! Be careful you don't spend up your monthly limit if you leave your device signed in.

Why couldn't you patch the old platform? This new AIM is riddled with bugs and errors. I'm seeing it update maybe once a week. The new system is not needed from what they had. One of the biggest problems is that there is "Ghost users" because your list doesn't update. No top icon on the home bar either when you sign in. But I find myself signing in and out a lot. I'm going to switch to yahoo and skype. Stay away from this app for awhile.

This remake of the AIM app looks and feels like the beta project of an amateur company, not such a big one as AOL. You guys should know better.
