[2012-03-05] Lisa: Excellent app! I have been using this app for over a year and continue to rely on it. Very dependable & friendly. Thank you! |
[2012-03-01] Brian: Close to my palm w/ JFile |
[2012-03-01] Mac: OK A little difficult to learn. Not intuitive. |
[2012-02-29] Reviewer: Beau is on my list. This app is TRULY VERSATILE, comprehensive & easy to use. With just a few strokes I have been able to add Beau (see below) to my list of STUPID PEOPLE, then back it up using Menu> More > Tools >..... |
[2012-02-25] beau: needs approvment you can't transfer your list from the free version |
[2012-02-25] Mike: Beau - use import/export To get your list from free to full version, backup your list in lite, then import in full (both found here: menu->more->tools->preferences) |
[2012-02-23] Jane: Like that I could assign my own aisle numbers and sort items according to where they are in the store. |
[2012-02-17] Janis: Love it This my favorite shopping list! |
[2012-02-09] forcats: Thanks for per store $... Ok |
[2012-02-09] Tom: Great replacement for Handyshopper Works well and is easy to use. |
[2012-02-08] HappyScrappy: Really just keeps getting better!! This app is the easiest, most well thought out shopping app on the market. I LOVE it! |
[2012-02-08] Bob or pineapple: Great grocery shopping app Love this app. I have used grocery shopping software since back in the day on my Palm Pilot. This app does what I need, is quite customizable for your specific use. And the aisle sort is the "must have" feature for me. Add in barcode scanning and this is a gem of an app. Thanks to the developers for making this app. |
[2012-02-07] masque3000: [My Fave!] Excellent replacement for HandyShopper! Fixed my only complaint (per-store pricing), so I added a star! |
[2012-02-07] Michelle: Awesome, easy, intuitive, cross-referenced Well thought out intuitive interface. Simple to use out of the box, very customizable. I used for getting prepared for a big trip (do/buy/pack). Love that your items are already entered and you just add them to the need category. Every store where you can buy this item will show it as needed if you take the time to enter that data once. |
[2012-02-02] JimLewis: Great Shopping App Will update review as I use. Just want to point out to Mark (1/21/12 review) that he's wrong. I have a Galaxy Nexus. Doesn't require a separate SD card. Will export and import from /mnt/sdcard/ToMarket/export. This folder will be created on first backup. Can also import individual .CSV files from any accessible folder on your device. On a Windows computer, you can move files to mntsdcard folders using MTP transfer. If an item comes in different sizes at different stores awkward to find and compare best price per unit without doing mental math by looking at Purchase History. Cannot hide items you need every once in a while but otherwise clutter up your usual weekly list (move to another archive list, you lose Purchase History). The "Need xxx AND yyy AND zzz" works great but "Add xxx AND yyy" just gives me "add xxx and yyy" as an item on my Nexus. Bug to Fix? |
[2012-01-31] David: Has Key Features Other Shopping Apps Lack I used the Lite version for a couple weeks and 5 trips to different stores & it worked perfectly. It has everything I would expect in a shopping app in 2012. I paid the $4 which is telling - I have paid for very few apps and none more than $1. I tried five other shopping apps. What makes this app superior? 1. Pricing by store. Main reason I tried ToMarket. What is the price difference if I buy 48 granola bars at the warehouse club vs 10 at the grocery store? If your app does not have this functionality you might as well just use Evernote. 2. Quant and price both support values to .0001 precision. So if 8 lbs of apples come in a bag for $7.99, I can record the exact price/lb 0.9988. Other apps round to nearest .01. Five out of five shopping trips came out to the penny at checkout! 3. Simple, intuitive interface: All products->subset need->subset cart. Easy. 4. Both categories AND aisles. 5. Purchase history. 6. VERY customizable To be fair, room for improvement. Biggest is no cloud sync like some others. Other things are minor - eg, there's a coupon indicator but no amount input so as to adjust cart price. Still five stars in my book! v 1.7.17 on HTC Rezound |
[2012-01-23] IvanaM: Very good app. Don't you think about online sharing lists? |
[2012-01-23] TheDreamWalker: Nice Superb. The "need" function is why I went for this app. Really customisable too. Could do with a new app icon though. Current one is pretty dated. |
[2012-01-21] Mark: No go for Galaxy Nexus I am so disappointed that this app requires an SD card to operate properly. There is no way whatsoever to transfer all of the work I did creating lists over to my new Galaxy Nexus because this phone has no SD card! This is a great app, but they need to bring it up to speed and allow it to sync across multiple android devices via the cloud. |
[2012-01-20] Mitzi: Back to 5 stars! Data backup works again and new features added. |
[2012-01-19] Mary: 2012 a bust Loving this app again with latest update. It just gets better and better. |
[2012-01-19] John: Handy shopper user Another former handy shopper user here. I also have tried them all and this is easily the best. |
[2012-01-19] O'Golly: Very good. Highly recommended. |
[2012-01-18] Sonya: Per store pricing! Thank you so much. Former HandyShopper and have missed it for years. Now if I could just get it to work on more than one item (sigh) |
[2012-01-18] amard: Excellent! The best one out there I've seen the rest and now I have the best! |
[2012-01-17] jim: Best Full featured and simple. Best grocery app available and getting better. |
[2012-01-17] DonnaS: Former Handy Shopper user from Windows and Palm OS. Nice alternative for Android OS. |
[2012-01-17] ikedafamily: As good as Handishopper Great software. For those of us that used Handishopper for years it's very compatible.comparable. |
[2012-01-15] John: The best I've found. There are good updates too. |
[2012-01-15] Becky: Great shopping software |
[2012-01-14] Mike: Thank goodness for the undo button! |
[2012-01-13] J Andrea: Convenient Layout Great app & easy to use. Developer is consistently working on improving the usability. Highly recommend. |
[2012-01-13] Helga: Could use color coding. Would help view priorities at a glance. Also batch remove/move from Need section instead of singly. Otherwise very well made app. |
[2012-01-13] Ann: Downgraded my rating because this still lacks true category sorting. Sorting functionality is severely limited currently. |
[2012-01-09] Jessica: Wish it had a way to import/add recipes and automatically generate your grocery list for you. |
[2012-01-08] Paul: Love it, but... Any way to incorporate syncing through dropbox or other? My wife and I have no way to coordinate lists. Thanks. |
[2012-01-05] Alicia: Tried others - this is best! Been using about 6 mo. Best shopping app out there. |
[2011-12-31] the 1/1/2012 Gone bad You use to be able to clear a list, like your cart after shopping to start over, but appears to have removed. Real pain to use now. |
[2011-12-28] Melissa: Pretty good. Paid version. I have used this for over a year with no problems. I create lists for everything...travel packing lists, home supplies, saving info like furnace filter size, etc. My only wish...that it synched with a desktop version so I could plan menus and shopping listsfrom my computer |
[2011-12-24] Kimberly: Love it I love this app. Its really easy to use. Just back up often. |
[2011-12-02] Barb: SUPER I give it a 10 stars This is the best app EVER*** I never forget anything And I am Always correct to the penny |
[2011-11-20] Anonymous: Great app, but.. Love this app, but would really prefer to see price of items in need/cart rather than quantity. Both would best if the fit the screen. |
[2011-11-19] Don: Great and keeps getting better I'm a long time shopping list user on Palm, Pocket PC, blackberry, and webos. Perfect for Handyshopper users. Continuously improving user interface. |
[2011-11-18] Harvey: Works Good I would rate it 5 stats if it had a favorite list. You have to review the entire list each time but a very good app and I do recommend it |
[2011-11-18] Rhome: Essential Finding an app like this was the only obstacle I had in embracing Android. My Palm usage revolved around HandyShopper. Now I'm in good shape. |
[2011-11-18] Luke: Just right for the task! This app. makes grocery shopping so much more efficient. |
[2011-11-17] Patrick: Best list app I tried most of them. This is most like handy shopper. Well done! |
[2011-11-17] MaryAnn: Great app! I tried several apps and this one was the best. Works great on my samsung charge. |
[2011-11-17] Debra: The best out there A little cumbersome to set up but easy to use. I like the idea of having a master list and then the needed list with prices. |
[2011-11-15] the 11/16/2011 Impressive software! It does everything I want it to do, and more. Very reliable. |
[2011-11-12] Kim : Great app! Love this thing! |
[2011-11-12] Mark: Very impressed It works well |
[2011-11-10] Rachel : Rocks. Can't say more than that. HTC Evo |
[2011-11-10] Kathleen: KSC I like the app. I would like to be able to empty the shopping cart by pressing one key rather than each item individually to remove it from the cart. |
[2011-10-19] the 11/9/2011
[2011-10-08] Bill: Good response from customer service Their customer service responded quickly and they are helping me move mt list from my old phone to my new one. Great! |
[2011-10-03] jjlc2: Well thought out workflow, PITA to set up I'm really happy with the well-thought-out workflow --items can be associated with multiple stores, and you can filter by whatever store you happen to be in. Items aren't deleted when purchased, but put in a catalog to repopulate your list next time, etc. But, gosh, I'm struggling to edit the csv file to get the darn thing set up with more items without making mistakes. |
[2011-10-03] Brycie: As good as splash shopper Used Slash Shopper but it want available for Androids a year ago when I got my phone. I'm very happy with this program...spread everything I need. |
[2011-10-01] Bruce: Great app. I really miss it on my new phone. |
[2011-09-30] Melissa: Excellent handyshopper replacement!! Veteran HS users will LOVE this program. It's laid out a little differently, but has all the functions that I had come to love/need. Yeah! |
[2011-09-29] Ryan: Best replacement for Handy Shopper! Plus so much more, love it, thanks! |
[2011-09-24] Amanda: Best shopping app on the market I Love the convenience of scanning items. Wonderful easy to use |
[2011-09-23] Terry: Great app! ! Performs great. Easy to use. definite recommend. |
[2011-09-19] mk_webman: I was so pleased I could import from handy shopper on my old palm tx. This works great. |
[2011-09-15] Brooke: Good software! Wish I could clear cart list instead of moving to all list. This creates duplications. I use this software daily and am very pleased with it! |
[2011-09-10] Ivan: Great |
[2011-09-08] Tracy: Love this app on my Evo! So handy I use it every trip to the store. |
[2011-09-06] Nat: Very nice! Easy to use! I've tried many different grocery shopping apps, this one is the best! The UI is easy to use, has a lot of features, but isn't too cluttered. And it allows easy backup and restore of your lists. Top notch! |
[2011-08-29] Edward: Great Market app Does everything I need. |
[2011-08-28] Scott: Real time saver Takes a bit to get your items set up with the aisles and stores you frequent, but saves tons of time on every shopping trip. |
[2011-08-28] Michael M: Not cloud aware, not that useful Texting or emailing a shopping list is, at this point, old technology. I desperately need a shopping app that syncs seamlessly with other users over the web, provides aisles for separate stores and, ideally, keeps track of my inventory as well. Amazingly, there's still not an app out there that does all this. |
[2011-08-27] smcred: The BEST! Always works exactly like it's supposed to. Easy to learn & use. I've tried numerous shopping apps, & ToMarket is the BEST! |
[2011-08-26] crazzeetrain: Fantastic app! Getting items entered can be a bit tedious, but once they are in there it's simple and easy to use. |
[2011-08-25] Lloyd: ToMarket is great It is the best shopping app since HandyShopper. With the voice input, it is even better. |
[2011-08-25] Janet: Just what I was looking for! This app is exactly what I needed. It's even better than Splashshopper. |

[2011-08-16] Dan: Best shopping list app out there I feel like I've tried them all, and while some of them are prettier than ToMarket, none came anywhere near having all the features TM has. |
[2011-08-14] RICHARD: Excellent product just wish the South African barcodes were available |
[2011-08-10] CC: Perfect! Tried 20 apps for shopping lists... this one far outdoes any on the market. Totally customizable, tons of features. Way to go! |

[2011-07-29] Leah: Leah Very handy AP! |
[2011-07-26] Rik: works for me Moving on from PalmOS HandyShopper or webos Shopping Manager - this is the way to go. I had to manually tweak the cvs file from SM to get my 700 items imported properly, but it wasn't hard. I only wish it could sync with an online database or another device, but I'm not holding back any stars for that. |
[2011-07-21] Dyne: WOW !By far the best support I've ever experienced in my life! |
[2011-07-18] Heather: Live this app....it i as gray shopping tool and keeps my good list in budget! |
[2011-07-09] Hope: Love this app...only wish could sync lists with other ToMarket users. Otherwise is well worth the purchase. |
[2011-07-07] bbuehler1: Very flexible & useful. Easy to add items & categories. Great to use in store. HTC Thunderbolt |
[2011-07-06] Sunny: Very versatile. I use this often. Great app! |
[2011-07-04] Mike: Great app, use it almost every day. Only wish it had a list of populated grocery items. But the voice to text feature makes it easy to add new items. |
[2011-07-04] Carol: Flexible, powerful, easy to deaign and use databases. Syncs with Google Docs. Flatfile only (not relational). |
[2011-07-03] Anthony: I've used Handy Shopper for many years and didn't think I'd find a replacement I'd like as much. ToMarket exceeded all of my expectations! The best! |
[2011-07-03] Joey: This is the best list manager I've used, and I've tried a lot. Works flawlessly - lot of great options - has worked perfectly on every phone Ive had. |
[2011-07-02] Vicky: Lets me update list from desktop, this great. |
[2011-07-02] K: Love this app. Only compliant is when I copy an item I wish it would copy aisle info too. |
[2011-02-28] Ann: Fantastic product! I just can't figure out how to remove all items from cart once purchased. So far I've been removing them individually. |
[2011-02-28] Ax: I've tried all the others, THIS IS THE BEST! Most : features, customisable,& useful. The learning curve is worth it. Dev is very responsive to fixes etc |
[2011-02-28] charlie: Have 2 small issues, 5* when fixed.Communication with dev easy and responsive. Best HS replacement, lots of options to create lists besides shopping! |
[2011-02-26] forcats: Lacks MANY good HS features! voice 'options' as an update ?...NO price per store !...NO price per unit !...He got his money, now you get ??? |
