[2013-01-28] A Google User: Easy to use and very handy I like that I can type out long lists at home, and while I'm out, add them on my phone. Being able to share lists is also convenient. The list is always with you if you want to stop by the grocery store on the way home *and* if your spouse/roommate makes it to the store first they can pick up what you need! Love this app! |
[2013-01-28] A Google User: simplifies shopping paper lists gone....nice to have a phone keep it all. I definitely like this app. |
[2013-01-28] A Google User: Out of Milk This app is the best!!! The scanning feature is SOOOO handy. |
[2013-01-28] A Google User: Out Of Milk This app is stupid because it rounds fractional quantities to 2 decimal places & probably rounds fractional prices to two decimal places thus introducing rounding errors if you're buying e.g 157 grams of ham (rounds 0.157 Kg to 0.16 Kg) or a bulk item priced fractionally e.g 100 washers @ $0.022 each (would round to $0.02 to give $2.00 instead of $2.20). So figures are incorrect & resultant totals are incorrect. Otherwise I love this app! |
[2013-01-28] A Google User: out of milk list capigami, ink. |
[2013-01-28] A Google User: I like this app I like this app,it would be even better if it had reminder/deadline alarms. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Go Pro!!! I love this app. I'm not much of a shopper, but if I know exactly what I need and know where to go to find it, it's not so bad. The categories are great for people like me. I've decided to categorize the items in my shopping lists by aisle at the grocery store I shop at. Then I ordered my categories so that dry goods are at the top and frozen foods, produce, dairy, and deli items are towards the bottom. This cuts my shopping time by at least half. Also...If there's something that isn't already in the database for barcodes, Out of Milk lets you add it. This makes creating lists so much easier than having to type everything in. Buy the Pro Unlocker. It is so worth the extra options it unlocks. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: A great shopping list app There's nothing I miss in this one. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Great App I have used it for a long time and just love it. It is easy to learn and to use. Thanks |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Great App Helps you keep notes n reminders work on Time management! |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Easy to use, and very useful. Great app for building up a list of things you need to get at the shops, instead of scribbling things down on paper and losing the paper. Been using it for moths, and it's proven extremely easy to use, quite intuitive, and very fast, not at all laggy. So easy to add things as you think of them, and even sync lists between phones/devices. Of all the ones I'd tried before, this one stands out, and I can't recommend it enough. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. :) |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Great app This is one excellent app to have. I have been using this app for sometime and cant get over the fact it is so easy to use. Well worth having. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Convenient I love that I can log in from any device to update my lists and that info updates to my phone for when I need it. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Love it! I use this app all the time. One suggestion I have is to add a line for the coupon expiration date. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Great app Saves time. You can add items on your pc or smart phone. I love the feature of adding items to your list by using the barcode scanner. Fantastic! |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Great app Great app with lots of potential. Would be great if number of a specific item can be recorded as well instead of only quantity of 1 bottle (of spice) for example. I have well stocked pantry with more than 1 of a particular item. Would like to know if I am running out of something. Giving it a 4 for that reason. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Keeps starting on its own. Every time I would check my task manager this app was always on weather or not I had used it. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: makes managing a shared list easy Both my wife and I use this app to keep track of our weekly shopping lists. I really like the fact that it syncs data between our phones *and* we can view the lists in a web browser. Also, the ability to log in with my Google account (and not create Yet Another Account) is a real plus. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Better than others I was using GroceryIQ for some time and it has been inconsistent with synching. I had tried Out of Milk some time ago and wasn't as impressed. Decided to give it another try and I'm really liking it this time around. Keep up the good work. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Completely changed my grocery getting experiance. This app is awesome. I used to write down my shopping lists, which i would forget at home anyways. Plus the qr scanner works quite well. I like being able to keep a running tally on how much a particular shopping list costs. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Pro wont work...cant find help. Paid but cant use it send. UPDATE: took some time, but they worked with me online till it was working correctly. I like what I see so far. Very helpful. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Outstanding! I used to have to email a shopping list to my phone. Now, I update the list on my computer, and my phone has it automagically! I Love that! It's also nice to have multiple lists, say, for different stores, or a special event, or whatever. I haven't used the pantry list, but it seems like it could be useful. The to-do list helps me stay on track with so many things. ! |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Makes shopping Fun! This is my most used app. I love it. Especially now that I have completed my Pantry List, it simplifies my shopping and errands. What a joy! |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: good but not applicable enjoyed using it but not recognized in our country |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Great app This app works really well. tried others and so far this was my favorite. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Retired Just what I been looking for in a shopping & to do list, this app can't be beat. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Good but could be better The scanner works great. I would like to be able to scan and remove items having them add to my shopping list at that time. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: everything I was looking for! I was looking for an app I could use for grocery lists that would sync between devices, had a website I could also access the lists from, and would let me track prices of items so that if I need something that was a good price one place, I could remember where to go back to for it! Even better, this lets me keep a pantry list so I know if I have certain basics-as long as I remember to update it as I go through things! Even better, it doesn't come with a lot of other extras I won't use, like some others I've looked at, so it's not using more memory than needed. I love that on certain devices (works on my cell but not my Nexus 7) you can use a barcode scanner to add items to your lists-saves a lot of time! |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Makes your life easier! Easy to set-up, use and edit. Works great across Android/Mac platforms. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Out of milk. Awesome! Awesome app! Nothing more to say! Bought app for my phone and wife's Samsung galaxy captivate Samsung galaxy s3 Cant figure out how ti predict text. BUT I WILL |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Great app Would be nice to have est price of wat spent |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Awesome App Out of Milk is a great app for keeping your day to day life a little more organized. It is not a complex day planner, or an in depth tracker. It is just simply an app for making and tracking lists. Initially it was all about keeping track of shopping lists, but they have also added To Do list functionality and a tab for keeping track of what you have in your pantry so that you know when you need to go shopping again. Also, I would highly encourage anyone that uses more than one device to pay the two bucks for the premium version. It lets you store your information on their server so that multiple devices can sync from it, as well as being able to create and update lists directly through your web browser on your PC. It is not complicated. It does not have a million features. It does what it advertises, and it does it well. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Easy and Organized I really like this app better then the few others I have tried because it is easy to share the list(s) and update online or on my phone. And I do not need to be connected online to get my list, which is often difficult in the bowels of a grocery store! To be fair, I did upgrade to OoM Pro. I use it almost every time I shop unless I am just jumping in to the store for milk. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Easy to Use - Changes Grocery shopping for me This app is great. My wife and I share our lists with one another and add things all time. When either of us are at the grocery store, we know we have the complete and up-to-date list. It is great to watching a cooking show and add items to your list through the website. Very simply to use. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Samsung Galaxy Note Installed it once before & loved it!!! Very convenient!!! |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Awesome Does what it says it does. Glad I got the pro unlocker! |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Great App I use it all the time. When it's time to get groceries, I increase the delay on my phone were the screen goes dark, bring up the app and put my phone in the top of the grocery cart. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Work good List sharing between web page and app and between users works pretty well. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Handy Little App We used to jot any needed items on a notepad or scraps of paper until shopping day. Now we use this great app, so much easier and convenient. Thanks Mr Developer! |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Missing Checkout Way back years ago or my Palm Pilot I had a similar app that did shopping lists but included a checkout option that automatically cleared your list when you checked out. I miss that. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Can't use on my iPad Have loved this app on my droid, happily switching to iPhone. Really wish I could access it on my iPad. Haven't tried grocery IQ... Will give five stars when I can use on iPad. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Syncs shopping Lists with entire family Ever stop to pick something up from the store and be told when you get home “I wish I had known you were going to the store, I would have had you pick something up for me.”? Now I look at Out Of Milk and if someone from my family has added an item to the list, I see it on my phone I can pick it up. I don’t have to call home and ask if I need to get anything else while I am at the store. This app is an awesome app. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Amazing Mom, make sure you don't forget to get some...SLAM!! No longer have to deal with that problem. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: A MUST for busy people with a lot to keep track of I rely on this app daily. It is incredibly easy to use and customize. I can organize my errands by customizing lists for each store, lists for each day, and by project. My favorite feature is the ability to easily move an item to another store when I don't find it where I expected. I do the same with my daily TO DO's...just kick what I don't get done to the next (or another) day. I am more organized, forget less, and always have my (multiple) lists with me. And, it's so easy to add items as I think of them throughout the day. By far, my favorite app ever. But Evernote is a close second... |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Can't get scanner Had this on old tablet scanner worked great, loved the app. Now new tablet no bar code scanner button. Please help. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Awesome App! I love this app. I have been using for quite a while and love it. I have this app linked to my android phone, laptop computer, and my nook. The Sync feature rocks. I like to make lists using my computer and then sync the list to my phone. Creating lists on my android phone is great too. I love the memory feature it has because when I input items I commonly shop for it remembers the prices so that I don't have to do as much work! Love it! I use this app for shopping all the time. I purchased the pro unlocker and have had nothing but great experiences! It beats using a paper list and a calculator (especially when the calculator goes blank after half of the shopping adventure and you can't remember what your most recent total was!)...this app is the best! I highly recommend! |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Brilliant yet simple app This is the shopping list application I've always been looking for, even when I was on the iOS platform. You start with already one (empty) shopping list but you can create as many shopping lists as you like. Then you simply add items to your shopping list and it automatically remembers them for the next time. You can create categories to group your items and assign them colours (personally I have them in the same order of my store's aisles). You can always go back to your shopping items (look for "Product History") and assign them a category if you didn't first time. It also lets you store for each item a price & quantity unit (i.e. per kg, pack, etc) and whether it's taxable to keep track of the bill (you set your tax rate in the settings). But the most useful feature is that since your shopping lists are stored on the cloud they are always available & editable from your device and on the web (sync is set as automatic but can be disabled). So I can build my shopping list from my computer to go faster or to spare my battery. Also, lately my sign. other built a list and sent me a text asking me to pass by the store while off from work, with the list ready. How cool is that!?! |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Free and Easy to Use I used this every weekend when I go grocery shopping. Easy to use, and I just discovered you can modify your list online. This makes it wayyyy easier. Sometimes I'm sitting at work and I remember I need to get a few things from the store, now it's easy to add them to my list instead of looking for my phone. Great app!! |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Awsome Works great!! |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Great. Except. I shop my local store the same way everytime. Ihave the categoriesin my essentials list in order but when I add things to my shopping list theyget out of order and I can not reorganize them. Would get 5 stars if the categories could get locked in order that I want them in in the shopping list. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Great App, Easy to Use, Lots of Features This app is great. I love the fact that you can use it right out of the box. If you want to add more details later (prices, categories, etc.), you can easily do it. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Great App I've been using for a little while now and it's a great app. Allows me to be organized and no more forgetting my list at home. I just set up my lists online and sync to my phone before I head out shopping. Highly reccomend |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Very good app Nice simple quick app with great cross-platform sharing, which matters in our house. Scanning works well. The feature that would earn a fifth star is the ability to attach photos so that my wife can make sure I buy the right things - much easier to match a product visually than searching for it based on a text description. Nexus 4. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Cool app I've used this app for about a year and it works well. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Great Love that I can have a list syncing between my Samsung and other half's iphone, and we can carry on adding things to the list whilst the other one is mid shop at the supermarket. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Love It! Love this App...Makes shopping easy for myself having the list right on the phone. Plus i can scan items right off their barcodes onto my cell. WOW! It's super easy to use and makes shopping that much easier. Remeber to add "coupons" as a grocery item..helps you remember to use them! :) |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Love it On my Nexus 7 Could use a printout of the list to size of users palm size , because running around the market flipping sheets of paper isn't handy. And Unit size of a Bunch (a bunch of Radishes) Other wise A'ok SG |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Needs search ability Fantastic app. Just need to be able to search pantry. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Awesome. it's great. you should get it. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Fantastic! I just got this app on Sunday and read my paper list into my phone. Gave my husband the paper list and we went off in separate directions and did our shopping. Didn't miss/forget a thing! I sat down tonight to learn more about it and scanned in my extensive spice rack into my phone! Due to errors on my part, I submitted an error request thinking that I had lost the pantry stuff I'd just spent a couple of hours on keying into the website (phone was charging). Within minutes, they responded, but not before I figured out that I had to refesh and then sync my phone. I am so impressed with this app! Thanks! |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Bug fix I would give this a 5 but I gave it a 3 because it is way too easy to accidently drag an item to another spot and if you don't notice right away you'll be stuck making a seperate trip to the store again! |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: crap no way to edit email addresses added. no mesage to confirm anything sent. forces sent address to join to get list. limited functionality for list editing. can't text list. very limited utility. UNINSTALLING. They wanna say it all worked BUT IT DID NOT. liars. I'm a geek chick & this was NON-functional. and why should someone I want to email the list to have to join? |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Okay This app has too much "overhead" with not enough payoff. Too many screens to get to my list, I have to use their way of organizing. I like the sharing but I can make these lists in a spreadsheet or create a new calendar on google to share. Also they spam you with too many emails. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Very useful to track spending! I can make a list of what I need to purchase with the prices and when I get to the store I know exactly what I will spend at the register. Very helpful. I like the bar code scanner feature but It does not always find the item. I did not find the few changes in the pro version to be worth my $1.99 |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Categories?? App does not appear to support list categories. I added them on the website but I can't add items to any categories from within the app... |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Amazing! Love It! |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Great App My partner and I both have this on our Phones. Great for sharing shopping lists.. easy to use. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Synch makes 'Out of Milk' a great tool for couples The old way was: When one of us is out and on the way to the market, calling home to ask what do we need at the store and then trying to find a scrap of paper in the car to write it down. The new way with 'Out of Milk": I call home to say I am at the market, She checks what we need, enters the items on her phone...and presto - they are there on my phone. Very handy !! |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Great app, highly recommend... Versatile (multi-purpose), Robust (back-up, sharing, import/export), Flexible (works across platforms), User Friendly (intuitive) and most importantly FREE! Great app...highly recommend |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Love this app I have been using this app. for about a year now. I just went to pro a couple of months ago. It is so easy to use.and so very convenient. I add aisles on my PC but keep my lists on my android. I have several lists. I keep a list for each recipe I use a lot; I just go to that list and there are the ingredients I need. Saves time and is so easy to use. If you aren't using this, you should be using it. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Awesome This application is awesome. It is the best shopping application I have ever used. I can't think of anyway you can improve it. Great job!!! |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Love it Love that I have shopping lists and to-do lists in a single app. Also love that I can update online and sync to my phone. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Veloce, utile e pratica! Ottima applicazione, la uso principalmente per condividere la lista della spesa con la mia dolce metà ed è fantastica! Basta bigliettini e una sola lista, sempre aggiornata. Ottimo! |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: very handy app this has got to be one of my most used apps. much easier to share lists through the cloud than with little scraps of paper handed back and forth. Plus, it's easier to come up with the list items as well; i really like being able to take a picture of the barcode of an item with my phone, and have it added to my list. very handy when in the kitchen, an you notice something missing; just grab the phone, snap a photo, and there it is! I also like that it syncs with my pc; entering and managing long lists much easier there than on a phone. Support is good too; had a problem with sharing, and it was resolved within a couple of days. Overall, worth the money spent. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Pretty slick app Love the fact that I can scan bar codes for grocery items and record what I have. Took a second to figure out to move things from list to list (pantry to shopping, and vice versa) rather than removing things from the list. The UI is pretty intuitive, and the fact that lists are accessible from my desktop as well as my phone is incredibly useful! |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Works Really Great I really like "Out of Milk" grocery list. You can keep it up to date either on your computer or Android app. I like the way when you put something in your shopping basket, you mark it complete and it goes to the bottom so all you see is what's left to buy. Keep up the great work!!!!! |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Love this App I love this, it's so helpful, I can just plug things in as I find them missing in my kitchen, as I remember them on my phone or on my PC. It's easy to use and works great. Keep up the good stuff! |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Really works! I have downloaded a ton of these apps and most have been pants except for this one. It does exactly what I want it to do. I can arrange lists in order. Strike through when completed, handy when shopping. You can email and share. But the very cool bit is the scanning option. You just go through the cupboard and as long as it's a well known brand automatically inserts it into your your list!! You can even create bespoke lists if it cannot find it e.g. scan soup write name and it remembers. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Wow Great app. Unfortunately since I install it my phone keep going on previous page on every others apps. Can you fix that samsumg s i9000 |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Um Perfect app some items are built in cant go wrong |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Useful I enjoy this so far. It is better than just a written list cause I'm not struggling with a pen, paper, a cart full of groceries and a baby. But.... I would love if it connected to store online lists like Publix... and it would be great to have a feature to simply scan items and get the price added in this way if that would be a possibility. It would also be great to have a comparison option where you could see, for example, what users in your area have put in for the price of bananas on their last trip. SOrt of a way to see what is cheap and where in your area based on user info. I love that you can go online and type your list in instead of clumsily tapping it in on just the pad. Big plus for that one! |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Needs expiration date tracking! Just installed and seems quick and easy to use. I like being able to sync with the web but I really need expiration date tracking. I throw away too much food so I'm looking for an app that will track the expiration dates so I'm know when something's close to going bad. Being able to see expired items or sort by expiration date would be a huge plus. |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Great tool! I love this app. Very simple and easy to use. It allows me to know my total purchase before I even get to the checkout counter. Great way to shop within a budget. |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Just what we needed My wife used to write the list on a legal tablet, rip the page off and lose it. Now I have a list even when she adds more when I on my way to the store. Oh by the way most stores are 1 1/2 hours from our house. Great App |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Generally unreliable List sometimes fails to save new items or deletes saved items unexpectedly. Shared lists only sync sporadically. |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Used to be 5 stars.... Until I tried to arrange thw categories to my liking. After about 10 minutes of trying Im about to pull my f'n hair out. Si frustrating!!!! |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Great app for listing all kinds of things I don't know how I got by without it. I keep lists of items to shop for, wish lists, bucket list, bills due, appointments, ideas, random thoughts, everything I need to remember....great job! |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Simple and great I really like that I can just quickly pick up my phone and add something to a list that I can view online, or open a browser tab and add to a list that I will have with me when I am out and about with my phone. Fantastic! |

[2013-01-21] A Google User: Nice app and support! This is far and away the best shopping list app I have used. I only came up with a minor annoyance in the way list items are sorted when they are completed. I sent feedback about it to the developers, and got a personal reply within 5 minutes saying that the issue had been identified, and that it was on a list of high priority fixes. |

[2013-01-21] A Google User: Loses entries! Lately, when I enter an item into the shopping list, which is synced with my wife, my entries disappear on my list when syncing takes place, but appear on hers. I can't see what she adds. My entry in not "remembered" in history when it does this. Uninstalling and reinstalling don't help. OoM used to be reliable and very useful. Now I'm having to look for an alternative. I don't have the time to spend for you to fix your errors. Worst thing is I actually paid for this! |

[2013-01-21] A Google User: Simple yet powerful list app Very powerful yet simple list application. Much better than some of the other super-bloated grocery list apps out there. Happy all around. |

[2013-01-21] A Google User: Great App for List Fanatics This really is for any type of list - grocery shopping, clothes shopping, hardware store, etc. You can also make to-do lists for everyone in the family or by project. It will be great once the kids start driving so when I send them to the store I won't hear "I forgot" it will be on thier phone! It's also great so when my husband feels like going to Costco during lunch he knows what I need. |

[2013-01-20] A Google User: No import? Really? What a shame? It's OK. Features are there but avail thru menus. Self defined categories are nice.BUT, & this is really most important, there's NO IMPORT FEATURE ON APP! So the 150 item list I have in ListMaster (which has import) has to be completely reentered here! 1/16/13 response: way too much work to import a .CSV file to this app when its already on this SD card. This app doesnt search for .CSV files like an mp3 playr app finds,&theres nowhere for me to paste my .CSV file in this app. I'll add 2 stars once updated |

[2013-01-20] A Google User: LOVE IT Simple to use, and I can't go grocery shopping without it! Also great for keeping me on track with errands I need to run, and it helps remind me what spices and whatnot I have in my pantry. Love this app! |

[2013-01-20] A Google User: Fantastic! Takes a little time to set up but it is my favorite app I own. |

[2013-01-20] A Google User: Great support!!! I really like this app. I can make a list on my Nexus 7 at home and check off items on my list at the store on my GS3! Sync works perfect. Customer support is beyond awesome. Had an answer resolved in less than 5 minutes! |

[2013-01-20] A Google User: Great Little App Simple, easy to use, does what I need. I cook a lot, so I need a master list, then I break it down to various stores for groceries and other things I need to shop for. Then it also gives you a to-do, which I've broken down into a simple formula: to do (like errands or goals), to know (like info you need to collect or have on hand) and to contact. Keeps things simple but organized and easy to access. |

[2013-01-20] A Google User: Works great! Picked it up on a whim and now we use it whenever we shop. Great program. |
