Sync works ... unlike groceryiq Used groceryiq for years but finally gave up after the constant sync issues made it useless. This app just works! Simple, customizable, quick, and no fluff. Sync is near real time. Perfect!

Awesome list sharing across platforms After much research and trying several of these, this app is the best of the bunch for grocery lists. It is the only one I could find that works flawlessly for sharing a grocery list among multiple people, where the list is automatically updated in real time for each person as someone makes a change to it. It is also the only one I could find that works across platforms, so I have it on my Android and my girlie has it on her iPhone. Great job, developers!

Great shopping list app I use it all the time. Sync with laptop is excellent. Although it's by far the best shopping list app I've tried it can still be further improved: When one adds an item it should go back to the list.

Data bug This app is chewing up loads of my limited mobile data bandwidth. 126MB of foreground data (almost none on background) transmitted last month and that's with only 2-3 uses between my wife and I. No we don't have huge grocery lists! Also the UI needs an update. Great app but the data bug is a deal breaker for someone on a limited data subscription like me.

Does the job well and syncs! I‘ve tried other shopping apps and they get so clever with new features that they're actually cumbersome. Please add optional running total (possibly with tax percent estimator) so I know what my total is going to look like.

Eh its ok It runs in background all the time. Cant choose when to sync to save battery. Out of milk app does what this does plus more & does not run battery down as u choose to manual sync or keep it running.

Very nice and simple little app. I like the simplicity no frills design of this app. Sometimes I feel they may have taken the no frills philosophy too far, but the app has all the basics. The paid version gets rid of the adds and cost about $5.00. per phone. My family and I will be sticking with the free version.

Great list app Checks off all the things I wanted. Web Access, Sort Categories, Sync'ing, and easy checking off items and unchecking off items. To get rid of ads paying $5 seems a little high though. Sharing was a little confusing but once I got it setup it works great and I don't have to mess with it anymore.

Good functionality, needs polish If you are just looking for a simple, effective grocery list app, this is your ticket. Adding items is easy, and syncing with others is a dream. There is no fluff -- no coupons, no aisle locators, no barcode scanners, no store mapping, et cetera, and I like it that way. However, the visual interface of this app has not been updated for a very long time, and it shows. There is zero adherence to Holo theme guidelines. There is no tablet interface. There is no widget. List manipulation and organization is clunky. Buttons and other interface items are ugly and poorly laid out. I praise this app for its functionality and efficiency, but I also appreciate clean design -- something that is sorely lacking here. I have used this app for a very long time, but I've grown tired of hoping for a new interface. Maybe this review will spur some action.

Awesome app! I tested five grocery list apps over two days and none came close to matching my requirements except this one! I wanted an app to simply: a) keep one or more grocery lists, b) be shareable with others in real time not just by email, and c) when 1 user purchases an item and removes it from the list, the item is immediately removed from the shared list for all users. There is no inventory tracking or cost tracking here to complicate things. Sharing with others is very simple, and quick. I liked how there were a number of standard grocery items preset to chose from but you could also customize new ones.

Great little time saving app. I've been using this app for a couple of years, first on a Blackberry and for the past year on Android. It's simple and easy to use both on the phone and via the website (my preferred method of creating lists before going shopping). The only thing missing that I'd really like to see is the ability to add a price per unit to each item and a running total of how much you've spent. I'd happily pay money for that extra functionality.

Great App but... Great little app with one anoying bug and ome missing options. Bug is that option for deleting crossed things in list is not working for me and I miss option for adding price for products so I can assume how much money will I need. This is good option for those with tight budget. Otherwise great little app and when this is corrected I will rate it with 5 stars.

Too bad I can only give 5 stars This is the first app I installed 2 years ago and still my favorite. Love the auto sync. I have the web page open on every computer in the house and live by the list in the store, best feature is that it remembers how you order your items so each time it is added to the list it keeps the sort. Clearly an app that is used by the authors.

Good, easy to use. Definitely one of the better shopping list apps out there. Authors could spend some time reducing the number of taps for common workflows though - for instance, adding a new item and setting its category. A separate quantity field would be nice, too. Regardless, this is a good app, it is only likely to keep improving. Highly recommend.

Awesome and well done! To begin with, it works great and has awesome usability. Auto complete, shop lists, section reorders, etc, etc. It is just a great shopping list app. It goes beyond that, however, by also having a web interface (yay!) which is very very useful. But even that isn't all, it also allows you to share the list with other people and that also works flawlessly! Is it perfect and leaves me wishing for nothing else? No. But it goes above and beyond of any other shopping list app.

We've never had any trouble with the software, and are constantly remarking how much it has helped our efficiency. We live in a very rural area, so making the most of our trips to town is important. Convenient, but... This app fulfils a relevant and useful purpose. But it does so at the cost of constant high CPU usage, even after quitting the app. Not so great for battery life.

Excellent grocery list app Setup and sharing is quick and it syncs changes from the website to the app quickly. The only request I have is to make the phone not sleep while having the list up. It's annoying to have to wake the device up constantly while shopping. As a workaround I installed the app KeepScreen to do this.

Simple, useful, reliable I got the key as a way to support the developers of this app. My husband and I use this and coordinate various shopping lists. I can't imagine going back to paper lists, other list apps, or texting/calling him to coordinate. We've been using Our Groceries for over a year and were still happy with it. LOVE this app! The ability to sync our grocery lists between multiple phones AND a web interface makes this the perfect grocery list application. We have 3 phones in my family, and it's installed on all of them. Now when any of us go grocery shopping, we don't have to check with other family members to see "if they need anything from the grocery store" - if they do, they just put it in the app and it's automatically on all 3 phones! :)
