Needs bug fix The most recent update made the app, which was not thebst to use in the first place, horrible. Error messages, blank screens, significant delay from clicking on anything for it to open, no response to touch after error. I uninstalled to was so bad.

Love Gilt; Terrible App I'll update this review with my thoughts on the new version. It does look better, but it still relies on the menu button. That's something Google recommends not using. The performance is sluggish on my Nexus 4 & there is no way to disable it or silence the start-up chime. Worst of all, iPhone users can use their app to display voucher. Why can't Android users get that feature?

ugh useless I was attempting to use a gilt city voucher that I had purchased a few weeks ago. It is impossible to pull up your vouchers on the android version of the app. Luckily one of my friends had an iphone and was willing to install the app, let me sign in and use my voucher. Ridiculous!! What's the point of this app if not to share the purchased vouchers??

A good site, bad app Most shopping apps (amazon, zappos, eBay) are nice mobile option, this one is not. It's difficult to use, doesn't follow any normal android UI. Feels like it was written a couple years ago. Runs poorly on HTC one

Excellent App! Samsung Galaxy S2 Gilt is an excellent app that lets your browse items and more. Works fantastic on my Samsung Galaxy S2. Havent tried all of the features on it yet though, only because Im having too much fun browsing! I recommend you download this app if you have an up to speed phone.

Wrapped browser I'm not sure which browser has been implemented, but this app is just the website wrapped up as an app. Thus the browser is likely out of date and at a minimum, performs terribly on my Galaxy Nexus. Shaky as scrolling and long load times shouldn't be an issue on a <1 year old phone. This is the laziest way to make an app and it provides for a worse experience than just directing users to your website.

Still Unusable Love the site, hate the app. I have completely stopped shopping on Gilt because this app will not render correctly (black screen, terrible scrolling, etc.). Please fix! *update* 7/3/13- The redesign hasn't helped much. Scrolling is still terrible, screen flickers with background overlaying content tiles...seems like an issue every time new content is loaded via scrolling. Detail page is even worse. Most times I can only see pictures, no info about clothing, sizing, add to cart, etc.

Buggy The past couple of updates have significantly improved the user experience. However, I am currently having trouble using this app. I can't open any of the tabs other besides Women. If I open a specific sale, all of items don't appear and I can not click on an item to find out more details or to purchase it.

Battery killer I like gilt but the app battery efficiency is terrible. I think this problem is somehow also linked to the fact that the app doesn't respond when you click the back button from the gilt home screen. One day I checked to see which apps were eating my battery most and gilt was #3 and I hadn't even opened it in days. It just doesn't close. Please fix because I had to uninstall.

Much improved. The app has greatly improved over the last couple releases. Inertial scrolling finally works, which means I can actually use this app now. Hitting the back button from a sale takes me back to the same place I was before, so I don't have to scroll all the way back down, which is also a great improvement. Overall the app is now entirely usable. I still have two gripes, though: - From the first screen, the back button does not exit the app, and it should. - After placing an order, hitting the back button takes me back to the checkout screens, etc. Optimally, it would take me back to the sales sections, as the checkout screens (although I *was* just on them) are no longer meaningful to me, and I don't want to accidentally order twice.

Very Poor App Using an HTC One S and this soon is absolutely unusable. Don't waste your time. You'd be better off accessing the mobile version of the website. There are very few apps that actually manage to get considerably worse over time and this is one of them. It's almost like an achievement of sorts, albeit the wrong kind.

Just okay. I want to like it more than I do. One seemingly minor annoyance is that when you hit the back button, it returns to the top of the last page. But that little tic adds up when you're browsing and have to re-scroll to where you were. Another is that there's no way to filter results by size or type, or search the sales. So it's a bit of a nuisance to shop in the app. Here's hoping on some updates.

Don't use! Store credit returns only! I bought two pairs of boots and paid for shipping both ways when they didn't fit. Now I'm out $45 in shipping (boots are big boxes). Then I received an email telling me I had a 'credit' in my Gilt account. I didn't want a $250 credit. I wrote to them and they wouldn't respond. They enclose a note in their box telling you they aren't happy unless you're happy, but give NO instructions, nor a shipping label for returning. I have never ordered from a company like this. Beware!

Love Gilt; Terrible App This is a poor quality app. The design is copied from an older version of the iPhone app and, the latest version of your iPhone version looks more like a modern Android app than an iPhone app. The search/navigation bar floats around the page whenever I try to scroll. The startup animation and design doesn't look very good on high-resolution devices/tablets and, even more offensive, there is no way to disable it or silence the start-up chime. Worst of all, iPhone users can use their app to display vouchers and redeem them without printing them out. Gilt needs to remember that Android users exist. Don't even bother trying to email android@gilt.com. The Google Group list doesn't exist.

Needs improvement On the Nexus 7, scrolling through the sale items is slow and jerky. Could use better option like turning off the notification noise but still getting the alert. App looks rather plain and boring too.
