The Six Pack Equivalent (SPE) Calculator for Android is a free app that lets you comparison shop and see the real cost of beer quickly and easily in a grocery store, a brewpub or wherever you are.

The SPE beer calculator is a simple way to compare prices of various quantities of beer against a known standard, a regular six pack of 12 ounce bottles.

For example, a $6 six pack has a SPE of $6, but a 64 oz. growler that costs $12 is over twice as expensive, by volume, at a SPE of $13.50.

At $4 for a 16 ounce American pint, that's 3 times as expensive at a SPE of $18!

On the other hand, a 15.5 gallon keg for $120 is still cheaper than a $6 sixer at a SPE of $4.35.

With the application MOBIT GS1, you search accurate, and reliable information about products from the database MojeGS1 - only one in Poland, database created by the product manufacturers and distributors, see the locations and contact details manufacturers of from around the world, the prices of products offered by the price comparison services and shops, auctions in auction sites, as well as the independent opinions of products. You'll also see multimedia - including video, social networking, recipes, tips, promotions and all the additional data, which wants to be proud manufacturer of the product. What's interesting - thanks Mobit also you will have full access to the data of all medicinal products in Poland, including the prices of medicines refunded by NFZ and the system prompts the potential replacement drugs (drugs with the same composition active, or with the same set products composed)
Mobit currently working with data partners:
• My GS1 - a reliable database of products created by producers and distributors, offered free of charge through participation in the GS1 Poland
• GEPIR - a worldwide database of producers held under the GS1
• KBPOZ - Base National Health Products created based on database from IMS Bazyl Poland, which has the latest information on all medical products and drugs approved for marketing in Poland

• Opineo - service reviews on products and stores
• Amazon - a popular shopping portal online

Scanned or manually entered bar code can also be used to query the Google search engine product. Our system has specially prepared query that makes much more Google search returns results as compared to other scanners available on the web.

Interesting fact: Mobit GS1 also can read NFC tags! When near the the phone will be NFC tag with encoded information on the number GTIN product - product information will be automatically displayed on the screen of your phone.

Note: Mobit Reader uses Zxing libraries to read and decode GTIN numbers. If the camera on your phone can’t  handle it very well (eg HTC Desire HD), install Google Googles, and then, when you restart Mobit, press "scan" and choose Googles as the default code scanner.

Mobit is currently in BETA. Please make any comments and suggestions how to improve our application. We know that the system does not always match accurate name of the product in situations ,where data do not come from MojeGS1, and that it takes time and much effort to lead to such a situation where all the partners - the wholeecosystem centered around the numbers GTIN (Global Trade Item Number ) will always be fully answered correctly reading the barcodes.

Today we reflect on the search databases of our partners even after the product name. This will produce far greater number of response but will increase the threat to the quality and relevance of responses…Is this a good idea, even if the accuracy of the data will be undermined? We would like to our application were something much more powerful with the beginning of the data at the source which is the manufacturer, rather than - as shoper - just give prices and possibly opinions. For mobile shoppers, those of us that like to shop on our phones, its hard to find sites that have good online stores, so I created this app that has a pre loaded list of some good places to shop on your phone, and also allows you to save favorites that you might come across while shopping.  

This application is perfect for when you want to do shopping while you are in the subway or riding the bus on the way home from work.  Do some quick shopping to get what is on your grocery list, or buy a present for someone's birthday, anniversary, or other special day while you are on the go!

You can also save things that you have found while browsing different stores in the saved for later list.  It is a shopping to-do list where you can come back to things that you have decided to buy if you are in a hurry.  You can also send the things you have found to your PC so you can purchase things when you get hope.  There is also the ability to share things you are looking at via facebook, twitter, me2day, email, sms, kakaotalk, and many more!
