JISHOP (v. 2.26.0) Разработано Seva Alekseyev |
JISHOP is a Japanese-English kanji and compound word dictionary. Focus on handwritten input and on radical-based kanji search, but you can also find kanji by reading (ON/KUN) or English translation.
For each kanji, we list readings, possible translations, examples of usage in compound words, proper stroke order, spoken pronunciation.
There's also a compound word dictionary. Search by reading or English translation.
5200 kanji, 47000 words. Full functionality for 30 days, then the dictionary shrinks to the 1006 school kanji.

[2013-03-20] A Google User: very useful!!! this app has been very useful..it's very easy to use..but i think there are still some things that needs improvement.., i hope we can rearrange the groups and words easily... clicking the option "move up/down" is time consuming... and i hope we can delete groups..it's in the option but it doesn't seem to work... |

[2013-02-19] A Google User: Awesome Kanji reference app.... One of the most useful resources for learning Japanese on Android platform. Thank you. |

[2013-02-11] A Google User: Solid kanji recognition, lots of features This app does its job well, though there's still room for improvement. It has pronunciation for dictionary words, but the sound quality of the voice synthesis is pretty low (ie. barely recognizable). If were lucky, maybe the app developer will use Google's text to speech services in the future. Other than that, the app could be a bit prettier, and some built in tutorial would have saved me a few minutes learning to use the app, and the upgrade to the premium version is a bit clunky. |
