(4) SD Cards and iBird App Installation. iBird's large database is always installed on the devices SD Card, or if there is no SD Card, in the device's storage memory (equivalent to the disk drive of a computer). All effort is made to install the application itself on the SD Card however not all devices will allow this. As developers we do not have control over where the app ends up. You can tell if the app can be moved to the SD Card by going to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications and tapping on the iBird app in the list.
