DroidSat (v. 2.2.3) Разработано DroidSat |
DroidSat is a real-time satellite tracker.
Point your handset at the sky and see which satellites are there.
Enable GPS location and your internet connection before starting it for the first time.
Menu functions:
menu->choose tles - select the category of satellite to display (stations.txt for ISS, visual.txt for the brightest satellites, tle-new.txt for recent launches)
menu->playback speed - speed up display by a factor of 10, 30 or 60.
menu->updated tles - update the satellite database. Do this once a week, or after new satellite launches.
menu->preferences - change your display properties (colours, etc.)
You may also copy your own TLE files to
/sdcard/Android/data/com.mkf.droidsat/files

DroidSat is GPL. Source code available at

DroidSat uses Horst Meyerdierks' Sputnik 3.1 java program for satellite position calculations.
Satellite orbital data is downloaded from the celestrak.net, amsat.org and Mike McCants' websites

[2011-03-11] Michael: Quirky interface but interesting, useful. Bug, list of sats uses white font on white bkgd-can see entry when selected. |
[2011-03-08] MIke: Good idea. Keep trying. Way too bizarre to use. I shouldn't have to try so hard to make something work. Unistalled. |
[2011-03-08] charles: Would like to be able to search for a specific satellite to assist in aiming satellite dishes. Would greatly improve ability to see the sight lines. |
[2011-02-19] Hydra206: Not bad once I turned down sensitivity to low. Does not work in landscape mode. mt4g |
[2011-01-23] John Holland: Love it... Droid Incredible. Could use a dark red screen mode to preserve night vision better. |
[2011-01-17] Marko: It is critical to get the distance (slant range) when having radio amateur communications. Please add range. |
[2011-01-09] Emile: Great app. Simple yet effective. |

[2011-01-04] Mike: Camera control for video mode. Tin foil hat not included. |
[2011-01-03] Mike: No idea how to use this app... uninstalling |
[2011-01-03] Dave: Why do you need camera control? No way. |
[2010-12-29] Erik: Didn't see any satellites |
[2010-12-15] Doug: Good app. Needs manual location input option and could do with a tle search function. Would be worth 5 stars then! |
[2010-11-29] marc: Some tles make cheap or old phones really struggle. Don't try viewing the iridium 33 debris on one! Other than that, lovely app. |

[2010-11-17] Nasty: Wonky use of tilt sensor that doesnt feel quite accurate. Difficult to understand at first, too. But it does the job! |

[2010-10-23] mark: Very nice app.....positioning is quirky at times, though. I wish the TLE sets had a search engine. I use it a lot....works well on a moto1/2.2 |

[2010-08-11] sepgroup: I love this app but I may uninstall it due to the high battery drain when its not being used. It's usually the biggest battery drainer on my Evo. |

[2010-06-10] Cipher: Great application. Great on the droid. Thx. |
[2010-05-28] Thomas: Adding a few lines of explanation won't hurt. Now it looks like a prehistoric Apollo 11 lunar landing simulator. |

[2010-04-24] Nobby: Wow, excellent piece of software, keep it up. Seems to work well on HTC Desire |
