[2012-02-18] ko: Terrible app Works on iPhone but asks for license on my android tablet..junk...sucks.. |
[2012-02-17] Terrence: Absolute Junk I cant use this app unless i have Sprint...what about the 100 million verizonwireless users |
[2012-02-17] Cyb3rGlitch: Useless |
[2012-02-17] NBTri: Not very good Can't save credentials, log in bug, no option to save the institution of choice either. Otherwise it's ok. |
[2012-02-17] john: Poor Shame for an education app |
[2012-02-17] scott: Okay Works fine on my VERIZON phone, not sure why everyone else is all butt hurt about it not. The app will not save my school or my credentials, so I have to enter them on a daily basis. This is inconvenient, so I usually just end up using my laptop. |
[2012-02-17] Ryan: Doesn't work Works on my friend's iPhone. Not on my droid. |
[2012-02-17] Mike: Pretty good This app gets the job done however it needs a fix when using the my grades tools. Two semesters of school and the desktop site shows grades. However when checking the page on this app the grade page des not load. Overall a good app though. - sidekick 4g |
[2012-02-16] Deb GT: Uon user, works great Works great on my Acer tab, as for the issue of listing every subject you ever took, just select your current courses and click the 'favourites star on the right. Then you can see only the ones you need. I'm hell keen to start the year with this handy app in the bag. |
[2012-02-16] Richard: Qc man Works great...even better than pc |
[2012-02-16] Anonymous: Why Why this same app work on my iPhone great but not android? Sucks |
[2012-02-16] Robert: Like it! I can look up info on my phone when there is no computers open at school |
[2012-02-16] Anonymous: Terrible! The blackboard app for the iPhone works perfect for my university, But this app doesn't work at all. Definitely uninstalling! |
[2012-02-16] Michael: Stop whining If you're school doesn't support this app it's your schools fault, go complain to them, the app works great and it is free to download. There is no reason for all the bad ratings |
[2012-02-16] Danessa: Great! I have sprint, and for once I'm glad. I get to use this app for my classes and it works great. I like it better than from my computer. I don't understand why your network would have anything to do with who can use this though, why only sprint? |
[2012-02-16] Jeannette: Great app Its easy to use and has everything I need when I can't get to my comp. |
[2012-02-16] Ben: Cant find my school Even though my school is in the top 100 top schools in the nation. :( |
[2012-02-15] Jessica: Sprint??! Really? crazy that android cant do better than this. im working from an android tablet i bought FOR SCHOOL |
[2012-02-15] the 2/15/2012 Lame Forget it unless you have sprint |
[2012-02-15] Rafik: Needs update The app is not letting me log in to my college |
[2012-02-15] Joshua: It's the 21st century And we can't use a blackboard system based on what service provider I have!? Shame on both companies for making an education experience about business. |
[2012-02-15] Hugo: Great app Works great for me. Very convenient. |
[2012-02-15] Colin: Crap Money-hungry company. Don't they understand "budget cuts" means schools are broke, specifically CA community colleges, meaning no use for us. |
[2012-02-14] Danie007: Ok.. A little better now. At least I can see my courses now. |
[2012-02-14] Alex: Lame ! Lame since I don't have Sprint. |
[2012-02-14] Joe: Can't use It wont even let me log in |
[2012-02-13] Jewel: Needs an upgrade Needs more features!! |
[2012-02-13] Rachaar: Login Getting really tired of the app never remembering my login. Other than that, in many ways I think the mobile app is better than the web one. |
[2012-02-13] Meg: Easy I work 12 hour days, 5 days a week and I'm rarely home to use my personal computer. Thankfully this app gives me the freedom to access my school work anywhere. |
[2012-02-13] J: Frustrating We use Bb here at St. Mary's University in Winona MN, but can't be found w/this app. |
[2012-02-13] Matt: Why Sprint? Why is this only for the Sprint network? Burn. |
[2012-02-12] Daniel: Bad Constantly crashing. Pathetic app! |
[2012-02-12] Kiara: Doesn't load When the app works it's okay, buy it rarely lets me log in. Don't waste your time! |
[2012-02-12] Matthew: Pretty neat Currently doesn't save my login credentials. Kind of a drag to keep typing that in! Works on MyTouch 4G Slide from T-mobile at Fordham University. No need for Sprint like everyone is claiming. |
[2012-02-11] Kamerosa: Failboard If an app requires a certain carrier to access information any web browser gets, you know an ad man was running the show. Don't bother with this app. |
[2012-02-11] Mark: Not useful Can't view grades for all classes. Can't view all the material that would be present on the website version. Does not meet expectations. |
[2012-02-10] Nick: Sucks Useless. Never lets me check grades. Gs2 |
[2012-02-10] Ben: Could it get any worse. Its 2012 come on this is a tease. One error after the next. Wont remember log in and no option to edit classes. Every class you have ever taken is going to be in your BB shell. Every class!!! Not worth you time move on. |
[2012-02-09] Marv: good app! would be improved if it allows any preferred pdf reading app on your phone |
[2012-02-09] Demetrio: Piece of crap licensing Essentially won't work cause of greed. Trying to squeeze more money out of schools. |
[2012-02-09] Craig: Who make an app that meant work? The university Texas uses blackboard. The blackboard app works through the iphone so why won't it work with android |
[2012-02-09] timothy: Dosen't automatically login. Other wise it works on samsung instinct. And this phone is TERRIBLE. Had to uninstall so it would sink with the phone. Also dosent allow auto login even tho I push remember me. |
[2012-02-08] Timothy: Disappointment... Force closes every time I use it. Doesn't save user name and password. Motorola Xoom/Droid 2 Global |
[2012-02-08] Vickie: Pointless Bb app is only for Sprint user |
[2012-02-08] Jason: Wont save username and password I would give 5 stars if the app actually saved the username and password. Fix this please! |
[2012-02-08] Koby: Does not work I go to university of texas arlington and i cant get on. Buton my iphone i am able to access it |
[2012-02-08] takaides: Unnecessarily limiting it to Sprint ruins this This would be a solid 4 star app, if it wasn't only available to Sprint users. Fun fact blackboard: most schools are broke and don't have the money to arbitrarily license software freely available to Sprint Customers and iOS users. |
[2012-02-08] david: Sprint sucks Why only sprint? Sprint sucks. It needs to be on every phone. Sprint users arnt the only one who need this. See below comments... |
[2012-02-08] gavin: Sprint users only Thats really handy.. |
[2012-02-08] dylan: Love it I like the app. Works good, helps me check grades, view assignments, pretty much everything |
[2012-02-07] Harold: . Don't listen to these ppl. This app does exactly what is says. If ur school isn't on here, then u just have to wait. |
[2012-02-07] Sharon: Lag Loads v slowly. Other than that its good. But its so lag I'd rather use the internet. |
[2012-02-07] Jonathan: Good even though it has alzheimer's This version of blackboard is finally usable. Some features I would like to see implemented, 1. Remembering my login username and school, 2. Multitasking audio so I can listen to a lecture and view the slides at the same time, 3. Cloud storage so I can keep homework assignments and class notes within my blackboard account and accessible from any computer or device. |
[2012-02-07] Katie: Why? There is no reason for the regular website to be so badly written that they have to create an app to fix it. THEN they charge schools extra to use it??? This is just annoying. |
[2012-02-07] George: Funcionality. First, Teneshia doesn't need to be talking about anyone as such. I'm going to take some time to emphasize an important item, though, and it is this: "NOTE: This app MUST BE ENABLED BY YOUR INSTITUTION TO FUNCTION and is free for you IF ENABLED. The no-cost version for Higher Ed institutions in the US, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands can only be accessed via the Sprint Network." So, for anyone wondering: Sprint Network users can seemingly access it for free, regardless. HOWEVER, if you aren't on Sprint's Network, and your institution isn't on the list of licensees, you're boned. There's no point to download it if your institution hasn't paid to enable the app. |
[2012-02-06] Stephanie: Current courses not loaded Only shows one course that I was enrolled in 2 semesters ago...can't figure out why my current classes are not there. Not very helpful. |
[2012-02-06] Seea: Works perfectly fine with my HTC inspire with atnt |
[2012-02-06] Vish: Great on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Tablet Does at is says! Great app for keeping up with all my uni work! |
[2012-02-05] Aaron: Not happy with this App. A great idea ruined by a terrible business model. This just makes me want to not use BB or sprint. |
[2012-02-05] Michael Kory: I agree with the terrible business model comment |
[2012-02-04] Jonathan: Dumb Dumb. Not licensed for my school. Waste of time. Don't download. |
[2012-02-04] Chintan: This crap is Sprint only Sprint only support is BS. Search "Blackboard unlocked apk" on google for a hacked version of this with ths Sprint restriction removed. |
[2012-02-04] jgalindo: Convenient Works ok for my school. Wish it was a little more interactive. |
[2012-02-03] J.: Good deal I am a Verizon customer and have no issues, allows me to keep up on the go. |
[2012-02-03] Kidd: Bugged Won't save username and password even if you check the option to do so. |
[2012-02-03] Anthony: Sprint only Just remove your app it's worthless to 99% of the other mobile users. |
[2012-02-03] Will: Hilarious Not licensed for my school despite the fact that I only downloaded it after seeing a poster for it on my campus. As a result I just wasted three minutes of my life downloading it. Blackboard is pretty much terrible in every aspect anyway, this is just another way for them to manifest it I suppose. |
[2012-02-03] book: Works great for my school on my ipad. Android app is junk. |
[2012-02-03] Chris: Doesnt support : ( Doesnt support all versions of blackboard |
[2012-02-02] Itzayana: Crap! Can only use with Sprint.that SHOULD CHANGE |
[2012-02-02] Leslie: Verizon user Works fine. |
[2012-02-02] Rudy: Once upon a time Used to work great untill the last update which was way back. developers still haven't attempted to fix |
[2012-02-02] Andrew: Stop profiteering Your "exclusive" deal with sprint is a bunch of garbage, you have the digital classroom market cornered now stop favoring one service over another. |
[2012-02-02] Jen: I use Sprint, I can't use this :( This is complete bull. I use Sprint, but because my tablet is not attached to a Sprint plan, I can't use this. Even though it is my tablet that I use for class, not my phone, to take notes and pull up assignments. Using the Bb website directly on tablet causes the page to load incorrectly, so I figured I would be able to use the app to fix that. I USE SPRINT, so why shouldn't I be allowed to access this??!! PLEASE FIX!! |
[2012-02-02] Patrick: Works great for me I haven't encountered any problems on my EVO |
[2012-02-02] LionelHuts: Sprint Only? At least the iPhone version lets you use it over WiFi without Sprint. BTW, a Google search will yield an APK of this app with the Sprint restriction removed. |
[2012-02-01] misty: It works for me The app works on my sprint android, wifi only android tablet, and my ipod touch with strayer university. There are a few annoying things like having to search for my school every time and log in every time. |
[2012-02-01] Trevor: Bb Works on my droid bionic with verizon! University of Pittsburgh |
[2012-02-01] Taylor: Corporate BS! Why have an app for students that only works for sprint users? They must be paying you and that's unacceptable! We all pay for blackboard by going to school! |
[2012-02-01] Nathanael: Partnership with sprint I can't check my homework or grading for this stupid reason despite my school popping up on the search feature. Epic fail on blackboard part. A lot of us feel this way. |
[2012-02-01] Andrea: Freaking lame Sucks. Same as everybody else |
[2012-02-01] Keoshia: Works fine on my evo. (: |
[2012-02-01] Sam: Just.. why....? If you're going to forget our login information, why bother having a check box for it? |
[2012-02-01] lmtoms: What! Only sprint android service. Very disappointed. |
[2012-02-01] Jeremy: Perfect Works perfectly on nexus and also on apple products. If something goes wrong it's because your teacher did not set up his class right |
[2012-02-01] Nicole: :( sprint users only... |
[2012-01-31] Ryan: Meh Works for some things as a student but can't edit (or even view) gradebook as a TA, which is what I was hoping for, since I'm unable to download grades to my Android without an error from the normal web site. |
[2012-01-31] mark: My school licenses the app but it still wont work Cape Fear Community College has a license for this app and they even have a link to the android market. once i downl;oad the app and pick my schoopl it defaults to the error about my school needing a license! completely stupid because i contacted BB customer service and they couldnt even begin to help me. Funny thing is that i have Boostmobile which is part of the sprint network anyway! SO WHAT THE PROBLEM IS I HAVENT A CLUE BUT IT SUCKS BECAUSE THIS APP IS THE ONLY REASON I SIGNED UP FOR ONLINE CLASSES AND NOT ON-CAMPUS CLASSES. THANKS BLACKBOARD MOBLIE!!!!!!!!!!!! EMAIL ME IF YOU KNOW OR HAVE FIGURED OUT A WAY AROUND THIS TYPE OF ISSUE , PLEASE/THANKS MJGIBEAULT029@GMAIL BLACKBOARD LOOK AT ALL THE 1 STAR RATINGS!! DONT YOU THINK ITS TIME TO GET UP TO DATE WITH THE TIMES AND ITS TECKNOWLEDGY??? ATLEAST OFFER TO SELL THE APP FOR $5 ON THE ANDROID MARKET! JEEZUS |
[2012-01-31] Vanessa: Waste On the website it states my university supports this app when I click on my school it states that it doesn't. |
[2012-01-31] Lucy: Not fair Can't use. Only Sprint can use due to partnership with the school. |
[2012-01-31] Dan: Can't use it I have to have Sprint to use it? My university already subscribes to it (university at Buffalo). |
[2012-01-31] Justin: Stupid The exclusivity to Sprint is unnecessarily greedy and will ultimately lead to a better service that we can all actually use. |
[2012-01-31] Dean: Love it! Sorry to all who don't have Sprint. |
[2012-01-31] the 1/31/2012 Ridiculous They should be ashamed |
[2012-01-31] Ben: Love it Makes using my tablet in class that much more useful. A+++++ also my tablet is wifi only and is able to use the app. Try using the app on wifi. |
[2012-01-31] Heming: fanny |
[2012-01-31] Matt: Works with t mobile... This app works on my Vibrant on T mobile... Only thing is that it's slow... My school apparently paid for/signed up for the mobile version... It's nice, but not as good as full site... |
[2012-01-30] Vincent: . How can your expect schools to pay to use mobile if they already pay to use you're normal service...stupid |
[2011-03-01] Anonymous: Works fine for me. Dont know why everyone says you need Sprint |
[2011-03-01] Tesseract91: My school supports Mobile Learn but it won't let me access it. You guys can go fuck yourselves. You can grab an unlocked apk online and it works fine. |
