[2013-10-06] A Google User: Lovit Thank IIIyoui |
[2013-09-25] A Google User: Great This is great. Xmarks works for any browser you have set as your default browser. It installs as a separate program, so you don't have to install it as a program for every browser you use. I use Dolphin on my Note 2, and it works with no problems. GREAT! It is too bad it isn't free, or at least have a set price. I am willing to pay what is the equivalent of $1 a month, but if it goes higher than that, I don't know if I would do it. |
[2013-09-11] A Google User: Not free I have this program on all my devises and love it I get new table egoism driven and told I'm expires what is with that says I have to purchase but I go in on laptop and its fine fix this issue . |
[2013-08-22] A Google User: What exactly am I paying for? Has this turned into abandonware? |
[2013-08-21] A Google User: Useless with Android because it does not work with LastPass. Just says that the trial has expired and purchase is required so bought the LastPass app and still not working so as there is no way to purchase xmarks and use it with LP I have decided to give up on it completely. |
[2013-07-31] A Google User: Ugly For an app thats been bought by lasspass and looks good on Mac, looks terrible on the android version. To ask people to pay a fee on a monthly basis is ridiculous, it also dose not sync all the bookmarks I want it too for instance the ones from chrome, bad just plan bad |
[2013-07-16] A Google User: It May be bland but it works I have been using this and lastpass for a coulpe of years now, I personaly have found that yep it may be very bland but it "Works" Brian |
[2013-07-11] A Google User: Buggy across all platforms Recently this app and its browser plugin counterparts have been failing to sync, duplicating bookmarks, and creating dozens of empty folders. Tech support is profoundly disinterested, even though I'm a paying subscriber. I'm not going to renew my subscription. |
[2013-07-10] A Google User: Whats not to like... Very helpfull app... And not everything in life is free.. IT is one of a kind app! |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: No es gratis! Esto no es gratis! |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: Lame Looks bad and no real plugin for Firefox and chrome. Rather deceptive. Please do some work guys. |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: Lacks basic functionality Although I agree that the ui looks bland, I would be all for renewing my subscription if I could do the most basic things such as moving a bookmark into a folder. |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: Great app, poor UI Love xmarks and lastpass bundle offer. UI is outdated. Please update UI for 4.0 and above using the new standards. |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Very bland UI is so boring and bland. Is also way overpriced. Why can I have Xmarks on my PC for free but have to pay for this one? |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: Last pass and the deathly acquisition If you have a golden updated product maintained well like last pass and abandon the company you hype up as your partner (paid acquisition) ...maintain it.. Once a year make sure it's at least online? I'm thinking that if you check you might find too many email flame complaints to at least refund us paid customers.. And then apologize for being good at half of what you do and admit you abandoned this project like an orphan |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: Greedy, removing |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: Once great, now broke I use to love this app, but now it causes big problems with my XMarks synching. Phantom folders, duplicate bookmarks, lots of empty folders generated, this app is in need of some TLC. Come on Lastpass this app deserves better. |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: Works but needs some polish It let's you access bookmarks or tabs from any other computers but it could also use an update to make the interface friendlier such as showing favicons. I also think it would be cool if out had a browser built in like lastpass sort of has but with tabs. It does what I want for now though. I understand they want money to cover server costs buy they could also continue to improve the service. I sincerely hope they do.. |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: No longer free, no longer using. Already installed on my pc, netbook and phone at no cost but now unable to log in via tablet without purchase, but no purchase details supplied. Shame, as it used to be a handy little program. I'll go back to using Pocket for things I find on my pc but want to read on my tablet. Pocket is still free. |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: B Im nobody gf |
[2013-05-02] A Google User: Elegant, functional. |
[2013-04-14] A Google User: Free=Free: only straight-forward businesses get my cash It seems you prey on the fact that people will install what you refer to as a "free" app and then when it pops up stating their free TRIAL has ended, they will be afraid to lose their bookmarks so will buy it. Then it doesnt even state how much it is in a prominent location. Bad form. I am all about paying a fair price for useful apps but tricking me into doing do just does not work. Period. Uninstall. |
[2013-04-02] A Google User: Nope Not paying for this. |
[2013-04-01] A Google User: Unusable Does not store bookmarks locally on your handset so it has to download bookmark data each time you use it. Major PITA. |
[2013-03-23] A Google User: Great Does everything you need it to do. Straight forward app. Thank you. |
[2013-03-22] A Google User: No integration with chrome or Firefox! I really wish I woulda known that before I paid for premium. Total waste of time until these guys join us in the 21st century. |
[2013-03-12] A Google User: Great App. |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: IF..... I WOULD LOVE IT & USE IT *IF* IT WASN'T A MONTHLY FEE.... HEY LASTPASS; YOUR GREED IS *LOOSING* YOU $$ BC IT MEANS LESS BUSINESS! 5 star app + 1 star company = 3 star avg |
[2013-02-09] A Google User: Very useful I have been using xmarks from past 5 years. Nice to see android app for this. |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Necessity for me I love this, along with LastPass. I have my bookmarks on any computer + browser and not just on my browser. Plus Xmarks website has a function to detect duplicates and automagically sort any messups out. Before Xmarks I was sorting out messups created by browsers manually, not anymore. Xmarks is much more worth to me than the 1euro/month average price. For some functions I do use browser built-in bookmarks to complement Xmarks, such as for Chrome on Android but they just complement each other! |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Best app ever to sync bookmarks Just download on pc on any browser and on mobile then sync bookmarks between both! |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Not as good as on desktop The desktop xmarks is superb, this is a poor second. You have to use this to front your browsing, which is annoyong |
[2012-11-15] A Google User: How? "Purchase to continue...." How? Link contains no Linux versions, only Mac & Windows yet the app worked while the trial expired. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE provide a way to purchase for Android? |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: Single folder sync is problem You can access your bookmarks, which is good, but you have to start in Xmarks app, which is terrible. It does allow you to sync bookmarks with Android browser - but only one folder which is ridiculous. |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Forceclose All of my bookmarks are now on my phone (great!) but I can't save bookmarks from phone to Xmarks app. Using HTC Evo 4G. |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Too many issues On automatic billing and combined with premium service of last pass that continued to ask to upgrade. Premium service being mysteriously dropped without explanation. Top it with poor customer service and that did it for me. Went back to roboform. |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Just a must have Excellent App, I use all the time |
[2012-09-19] A Google User: This is not free This just a trial version and will ask to purchase after certain period...crap |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Love this app Love it love it love it. Did I mention I love it? |
[2012-08-27] A Google User: Best app. Solved my unslolved problem. Actually it is the best. |
[2012-08-08] A Google User: excellent! |
[2012-08-06] A Google User: Duplicates duplicates etc, so uninstall! I'm removing xmarks sadly they cannot work with chrome and firefox and duplicates keep coming... Pity. |
[2012-08-03] A Google User: Good but redundant I've been a premium subscriber for the past year and a half and while it is good, it has become redundant with the prevalence of sync capabilities built into most popular Web browsers. Unfortunately therefore I no longer have a need for this software. You need to keep innovating |
[2012-07-20] A Google User: Not free Ugly graphical interface. You are asked to pay for getting a list of links listed in white on a black screen. They could do more if they wish to make money out of it |
[2012-07-12] A Google User: Good Good |
[2012-07-01] A Google User: Broken on CM9 ICS |
[2012-06-30] A Google User: Stupid trial Seriously make a full version that doesn't expire. Otherwise take it out of the Google play store. |
[2012-06-29] A Google User: Awesome I've been using xmarks for 2+ years and these folks haven't disappointed me one bit. Congrats to the team. |
[2012-06-28] A Google User: if only it worked with Chrome (Android version) The desktop version of Xmarks absolutely rocks! I work with many different computers (Macs and PCs) and unfortunately the desktop version of Chrome bookmark sync creates duplicate records and makes a major mess. All that was fixed once I discovered Xmarks. So I was excited to see that there is an Android version of Xmarks but unfortunately there is no way to plug it into the Android Chrome browser. It's not clear how much effort is going into supporting Xmarks at present so we probably shouldn't hold our breath for this becoming an Android Chrome plugin. |
[2012-06-25] A Google User: Still testing I haven't made Xmarks my final destination yet for bookmarks storage. Between Chrome sync and Pindroid (Pinboard) there is room for baiting. |
[2012-06-22] A Google User: Nice |
[2012-06-20] A Google User: Good so far I have used LastPass for password management for two years now and love it. Since LastPass bought Xmarks, I decided to try it. Xmarks is OK, but not as polished as I would expect a LastPass product to be. Setting up a couple of Profiles, for example, was not obvious to me at first. It seemed straight forward, but the UI was sluggish, so I wasn't sure if I was setting it up correctly. Now that I have it setup, it seems fine. |
[2012-05-31] A Google User: Works Very Well People, if you don't have a premium account, don't install this, it's not for you. Works perfectly if you have a Premium Account. |
[2012-05-29] A Google User: Outstanding product!! I have >1k bookmarks on Delicious and have been seeking a suitable replacement since that service went to pot. Didn't care for Google bookmarks. After trying Xmarks for 5 minutes I was sold and purchased a year's subscription. I also use Lastpass. These products are indispensable. Evo4g |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: Subfolders not synced |
[2012-04-22] A Google User: Bookmarks synced with ease! This app is excellent. What was that link I saved on my PC at home? Oh I have it right here! |
[2012-04-21] A Google User: Not happy Why should i pay for the service that is free on PC? Uninstalled. |
[2012-04-11] A Google User: Can't beat it if you use multiple browsers Syncs well across multiple machines as well as across FF, Chrome, and IE. As a developer, I use all 3. |
[2012-04-07] A Google User: Speedy and solid... but needs improvement Long time user of Xmarks on Firefox. Love the solid sync capabilities across browsers, never had any major issues. The Android app works well and I have never had any issues with it. However I would like to see a widget for quick access to search and a search box in the app itself sitting at the top of the screen. A overhaul of the UI would be nice (but not necessary). |
[2012-03-28] A Google User: Perfect All my bookmarks from my browsers is right there. Couldn't ask for an easier sync. 5/5 |
[2012-03-23] A Google User: Tags not carried over I soley use bookmarks via tag based shortcuts and they don't carry over on this app...argh! |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Not syning - trial? Its not a trial on my computer...don't get it. Fix the bug. |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Bookmarks everywhere! |
[2012-02-22] A Google User: Works well |
[2012-02-16] A Google User: Works perfect.. Like all read the directions. Even a quick glance and most problems wouldnt happen. Been using this service since it was foxmarks. |
[2012-02-16] A Google User: Expired trial This app failed to work on mmy Asus transformer eee pad. It says the trial is expired... |
[2012-02-14] A Google User: Screws up your bookmarks!!! WTH I got this to sync up with my pc bookmarks but instead it completely screwed them up.. Now I got to clean up the mess on all my pc's. Thanks.... |
[2012-02-13] A Google User: Yes. |
[2012-02-10] A Google User: Rather Good. If only Google allowed plugins in the stock browser this could be perfect. Again this seems free to me, market price is 0. Its only usefull to premium users..but it says that already. |
[2012-02-08] A Google User: This is a trial, it should say so! |
[2012-02-07] A Google User: Trial? My trial expired. First i knew about it! That's so annoying because i was beginning to like it. Oh well. |
[2012-02-02] A Google User: Own server Please provide ability to connect to your own server via https+webdav. |
[2012-01-28] A Google User: Not very good Needs to support other browsers, like Opera and Dolphin. |
[2012-01-28] A Google User: Great service A truly great service and the plug-in for the dolphin browser makes it even better. |
[2012-01-20] A Google User: Worked once Won't this time servers down and want to charge f this other ways... |
[2012-01-18] A Google User: One problem. I love xmarks. I don't love that this app never remembers where I am and I always have to click 'login' even when switching between open apps. Five stars otherwise. |
[2012-01-15] A Google User: Very good Perfect :) just wish it was for free |
[2012-01-13] A Google User: Awesome I've been using Xmarks on my PC for some time and it's great to have it as an app too! It makes it easy to keep all my bookmarks, passwords and tabs synched between my various computers. Plus on the PC it allows me to save the entire state of the browser including all open windows and tabs, do something else, and restore it later. One of the best points is that, using the remote tabs facility, I can open the browser on my phone, see what tabs I had open on my computer at home and selectively open them on the phone. Cannot imagine using a browser without it! |
[2012-01-06] A Google User: Can't live without it. I don't know what I would do without this app. I have it installed on my tablet and phone, and three computers. It is simply essential. |
[2012-01-01] A Google User: The best All your bookmarks, all your devices, all your browsers, always in sync. No mistakes. Simple. |
[2011-12-24] A Google User: Love it. Combined w/ the dolphin HD addon to let me take my work with me anywhere! |
[2011-12-21] A Google User: Perfect Syncs all my bookmarks to my phone, but only a specific folder to the Web browser. Plus service is cheap...awesome! |
[2011-12-12] A Google User: Great Been using for 5 minutes. Perfect app. I paid for xmarks/ last pass when they almost shut down last year Use on all my office computers. So efficient. |
[2011-12-04] A Google User: Good. |
[2011-11-25] A Google User: Favicons? I see favicons in the screenshot, and but can't get them to show in the app... |
[2011-11-20] A Google User: Awesome People who complain about the premium user price should google the history of xmarks. You might change your mind. |
[2011-11-16] A Google User: Productivity enhancer Nice to see the page titles prepopulated. |
[2011-11-11] A Google User: Overpriced Try chromemarks instead if you use Chrome at home. Works with any of your mobile browsers. |
[2011-10-27] A Google User: Super App. Access your organized links. Syncs perfectly. |
[2011-10-10] A Google User: Mobile is so so Sync on mobile goes to server, but can't update server and get back to mobile. Editing is limited. XMarks is a marvellous service overall. |
[2011-10-09] A Google User: This is a trial version Expires after a while. The pricing model of $12 a year is way too high for what it does. Uninstalled. |
[2011-10-09] A Google User: Awesome Keeps my tablet, phone and multiple browsers all in sync! Great with last pass and dolphin HD. |
[2011-10-04] A Google User: Make It Free! :-( |
[2011-09-29] A Google User: Does what is supposed to do. |
[2011-09-28] A Google User: Oscar Works seamlessly. Syncs my bookmarks on all my devices, wherever I am - Windows 7 desktop, Windows laptop, Macbook Air, Android phone. |
[2011-09-26] A Google User: all my desktop bookmarks on the go - great :-) |
[2011-09-26] A Google User: Greatest thing since sliced bread! @people who can't read, it's "for premium customers", quit being cheap. Spend the $$$ it's well worth it. |
[2011-09-26] A Google User: Cheap at the ptice $1 a month. Excellent value. Never used the password sync, so unconcerned about it's removal. |
[2011-09-18] A Google User: It's a trial and after it expires you have to pay to sync. Why must I pay when this service is free on my home computer? Lame. |
[2011-09-07] A Google User: Great App! |
