This widget displays the number of the week.
You can even adjust when the first week is (e.g. the first week can be set to the middle of April).
Now it has even a countdown function which will show you how many weeks are remaining until it reaches the preset date.
There is no service and the widget (and optional notification icon) is updated periodically about every 30 minutes -> no battery or RAM consumption.

[2012-10-02] A Google User: Eh... I had to download this widget 3 times before it showed up in my widgets list. When it finally did, it was quite underwhelming. Only shows weeks not weeks with number of days remaining. For example if there are 10 weeks and 3 days left until your event, it will just show as "11 Weeks". Also cannot name event and can't have multiple events. |
