[2012-02-18] Jacob: Pretty good, could work better It's good that I can view my phones photos on ubuntu, although if I try to Download any of my files it just says download failed... Would be 5 star if I could download my files! My phone is a HTC explorer if that helps at all. Hopeing for a fix. :) |
[2012-02-18] oudai: All These stars just because it.s ubuntu at least and before i open the app |
[2012-02-15] venus2468: Status needed Only synchronises the files you touch. It is hard to tell from the list of files which ones are actually on your phone and which are only on the server awaiting a touch to download |
[2012-02-13] Michael: Excellent only 1 problem Excellent application. I.only found 1 problem. The photos are not uploaded if the device stores pictures on external sd card. Many devices today have internal and external storage. |
[2012-02-09] Alfred: Only photos It only synchronizes photos. For everything else it is manual, equals worthless. Also the related windows client just kept "setting up" forever. Uninstalling and will use sugarsync instead. |
[2012-02-08] JJ: Great app! I love U1! Can't wait for multiple photo folder support :-) |
[2012-02-08] james: Needs a stop download button Needs a stop download button to stop downloads that I click on accidentally. |
[2012-02-05] Vladimir: I can't think of anything to say except... I think it's marvelous! |
[2012-02-05] Ian: Unusable It is a massive memory/CPU hog, phone really slow ever since installed. It also hides/removes the notification bar from everywhere, its just gone! uninstall!! |
[2012-02-03] SK: Perfect |
[2012-02-02] Frank: Nice Nice! |
[2012-02-01] Derek: Fantastic Works smoothly and reliably, auto image upload is a plus |
[2012-01-31] kosta: Nice Good stuff |
[2012-01-29] trogen: ubuntu is great! |
[2012-01-27] Jonna: Great! I prefer Ubuntu one over ever other cloud storage solution |
[2012-01-21] Michael: Cloud storage It's really hard to stand out with so many cloud storage options for Android. If you buy service this is one of the cheaper options and the app works as advertised. |
[2012-01-20] Naveen: Excellent Excellent excellent one |
[2012-01-19] Brandon: Perfect! Works great to store and sync files! |
[2012-01-19] Amin: Need file sync It s great but it needs to sync all fils not just photos to be a perfect application . So please make it real , i m wating :) |
[2012-01-18] Craig: Wonderful. I love the integration with the Ubuntu desktop. This makes sharing files incredibly simple, fast and convenient. P.S. The graphical refresh is very nice! |
[2012-01-18] fairdrew: Sweet, quick, handy. Uploads, photos to your UbuntuOne folder faster then pluging in a USB cable. Also has option to only update on wifi. |
[2012-01-18] Berto: Need ext_sd support Would be nice if I could choose the photo folder to sync. I have the Amaze and store my photos on my 32GB external SD card. 5 stars when that is supported. |
[2012-01-18] Richard: Awesome Awesome app. Auto sync'ing photos taken on the camera is very impressive. The pre-sync for faster browsing is a much welcomed feature. |
[2012-01-15] johnnybelfast: Need a SIMPLE way to remote access an ubuntu machine from mobile devicewithout having to configure vnc and port forwarding. See logmein for an example |
[2012-01-15] Javier: Love it! I just can't live without it. |
[2012-01-14] Dallas: Access to accounts is to create Ubuntu SSO account. Great app highly recommended |
[2012-01-14] Tomas: Needs to backup contacts from the mobile |
[2012-01-14] DazFuller: Brilliant It's great having access to my files on the go and the instant upload over wifi of pictures taken on my phone works incredibly well. |
[2012-01-14] Matt: Works great Fantastic app |
[2012-01-14] Computer: Droid3 Ubuntu1; home Ubuntu1; on the go awesome! I can access my data anywhere! |
[2012-01-13] Marcy: Unbelivably slow Theoretically useful app. (Hence the three stars) However, when trying to upload multiple files (small ones, around 0.3MB each) it is taking far too long. I have a fast Internet connection through wi-fi, but it is taking 5-8 minutes per file. Verizon Galaxy S with gingerbread. |
[2012-01-13] duanedesign: Useful, yes. Cool, definitely. The Ubuntu One Files app is very useful. I love having access to all the important files from my computer. My favorite feature is the ability to have photos auto-uploaded as I take them and have them waiting for me on my computer when I get home. The developer is creating all kinds of great features for us to look forward too. I can not wait. |
[2012-01-13] Natt: Quality Highly useful and more free storage than DB. Would like a description of the new update changes, and why they need the ability to create and modify local accounts before I update |
[2012-01-13] Moheb: Thumbnails Need to have Thumbnails so i don't have to open each picture before i know to download it or not |
[2012-01-13] Shourisha: CPU consumption Constantly hogging the CPU and thus battery, considering uninstalling. |
[2012-01-11] Jack Pidwell: Open source Opensource ftw, bitches. A real alternative to dropbox.kudos |
[2012-01-10] skykid2: Easy to use I just install set it and to forget it.... I like the price, free and knowing that if I loose my phone I never lose my pictures!!! |
[2012-01-03] Ganesha: Awesome Works very well for large and small files. Please implement auto upload of arbit files/folders. |
[2011-12-31] growingneeds: Service unavailable Why is the service unavailable? |
[2011-12-28] MikeyMike: Not complete Need more features like batch upload any file type not just images. Set certain folder to auto sync etc .. apart from lack of features its okay |
[2011-12-25] Bonoventura: Absolutely perfect! |
[2011-12-25] Dave: Need Gingerbread notification styles! I love it but it needs to match the UI of Android 2.3. I can't stand it when notification icons don't match. You also might wanna make this ICS ready. Android 4.0 is here... |
[2011-12-24] Anonymous: Crap Can't download uploaded files. Utterly useless. |
[2011-12-23] zachary: Great |
[2011-12-23] Enrique: works better than on my laptop |
[2011-12-22] eilu: Perfect Great app for syncing across my Android and Ubuntu machines. The "sync on wi-fi only" is a genius option. |
[2011-12-21] kloder: Suckssss |
[2011-12-19] Rayane: Bye bye dropbox and box thumbnails coming soon. |
[2011-12-17] Dred: Good For backup But.. The app cloud is amazing.. The only issue I have with it that causing my not to buy an upgrade account is that, the app lacks file preview, no pic thumbnail. if you looking for a picture you backup..you be download pictures for days just to find a single file. Other than that it works for me |
[2011-12-16] babaq: Upload not working When I change the document on the phone (I have opened TXT file from this app in Quickoffice Pro, changed something, saved), client doesn't recognize that the file changed and it is not uploaded. So the only things which work are storing completely new file... not much. |
[2011-12-16] Tommy: Awesome! |
[2011-12-13] Deniz: No selective folder synch You can not synch/upload/download whole folder. |
[2011-12-11] Joerg: Awesome ! Uploads photos from SDcard automagically ! |
[2011-12-06] Jan Helge: Almost perfect. First i tough it was an bug on the Galaxy S2 that my captured pictures would not auto-upload but after a feedback mail i was told that the app only support the standard folder on phone. so for those who have storage location on memcard this will not work before you change it to save picture to phone. But it work like charm if you choose pictures to phone. Nice application and it will get 5 star from me when memcard folders can be used. ;) |
[2011-12-04] Anton: Not mirroring Same issue as dropbox. Download is on demand, so always need data access. |
[2011-11-30] Martin: Really nice. Like that it auto uploads my pictures! Annoying that it doesn't remember login information. Quite buggy when trying to upload 550 pictures at once. |
[2011-11-29] Adanedhil: Thanks Perfect app, thank you very much, Canonical! |
[2011-11-26] Jammin: Usefull Usefull but not perfect. Can see and download files but no thumbnails and missing other features that make it miss the 'wow' factor. Still a must have |
[2011-11-26] TBA: Great cloud |
[2011-11-24] Cornelius: No auto login Login is not remembered! You have to fill in your login every time. Fix it pls. |
[2011-11-24] TheYann: Good app but Upload over wifi should be DEFAULT Hello all. The app is just what it should be, it works, the service is great. However, I have just uploaded over 100mb of photos over 3G when my data plan is 50mb max (yeah it's expensive in Belgium). So please developers, when you have the "upload only over WIFI" option ... enable it systematically by default! Other than that, great stuff :) |
[2011-11-23] Oscar: Very good ...and best support ever! Does what it has to and more. |
[2011-11-19] pu: Works well but far from being productive No folder upload/recursive download. No handling of large number of files. No stop/resume on uploads. Versioning support would be nice. Ssh access would kick s as well. Good luck friends, 3 stars for now. |
[2011-11-16] the 11/17/2011 "Wifi only" option is highly needed |
[2011-11-14] Victor: Silly question... How do I put my pics back in my phone?? I managed to save all my pics but can't figure out how to put them back in my phone..?? |
[2011-11-13] mike: Wat the heck Will not let me create an account. |
[2011-11-12] Billy: It works, but... It's the absolute bare minimum that will get you by. Huge potential, but it's nowhere near the level of the desktop app. Too bad its the only option. |
[2011-11-12] Egidijus: Needs automatic synchronization for other phone folders, not only photos. Able to select only one file for sharing per instance - no good. |
[2011-11-12] H: Testing Looking GOOD ! |
[2011-11-11] Caseca: Much poor Only allow upload one file per time, Horrible! |
[2011-11-11] Bob: Excellent Solid and stable product that adds great value to.desktop U1. |
[2011-11-11] PaulW: Serious Battery Drain! Its swallowed nearly all the battery life in 6 hours! Usually have a good 70% left by this point and I'm down to 16% now! |
[2011-11-10] Zlatan: Great app, works perfectly on Evo 4G! Good for uploading the photos. Highly recommend it |
[2011-11-10] Maltz: Excellent app Nice, is good have 5 more GB |
[2011-11-10] Troy: Sweet! |
[2011-11-10] jethro: Does exactly what it says it will. |
[2011-11-10] Cagatay: farewell uninstall due to excessive battery usage after the last update. |
[2011-11-10] Zmago: Workaround Workaround for last updatte problem. Remove u1 account from accounts&sync menu and then restart u1 app |
[2011-11-10] Olivier: Great application for mobile users This makes ubuntu one really relevant in the cloud world. I have all my files at my fingertips. So far smooth usage |
[2011-11-10] DJM: Need more work Great app, but lacks some features like thumbnail view of uploaded fotos, batch delete and windows program needs to allow saving to whichever folder |
[2011-11-10] Darius: Inf. sync. Latest version has infinite sync issues |
[2011-11-10] Jukka: Nice app Works as smoothly as Dropbox |
[2011-11-10] Kam: No thumbnails Would prefer it over Dropbox, bit this had no thumbnails and i find adding files cumbersome over the different platforms. No response from devs. |
[2011-11-09] Mark G.: Works Perfectly on Samsung Intercept I tried using Google+ to auto-upload my photos, but it kept getting stuck. This works much more reliably. I even can use the Windows app to automatically download the photos from this service to my desktop PC as well. Everything works smoothly, even on my old hardware. |
[2011-11-06] Øyvind: Promising, but incomplete The app looks promising, but the inability to automatically synchronize/upload files I've modified locally on my Android device is just baffling. Even long-clicking a file does not present me with the option to upload/synchronize it to the cloud (only share/publish). Two stars until it will let me upload files more easily. |
[2011-11-05] Joshua: It's a start... Needs to be its own file browser (since it doesn't do anything else). Autosync only for photos? That's a bad joke. Freezing until it does more. |
[2011-11-05] orky: Works fine but need a search option hi, the app work fine till now also the desktop sync is working fine just want to request a SEARCH BOX feature so that people can search for file name (at least) when the data grow. |
[2011-11-03] Marko Darko: Sign in problem Whenever I wanted to sign-in, it took a lot of time to say the server was down, everytime. |
[2011-11-02] vitaly: Ubuntu it's beter Ubuntu,ubuntu,ubuntu :-) :-) :-) |
[2011-10-31] gcb: Syncs only your photos automatically... I wanted to use this App in stead of DropBox/Dropsync, but it will sync only my photos on my phone automatically. The Windows client accepts only a folder within your own Documents and SettingsUser directory! Great that its free, I would pay for more flexibility though. Otherwise the App works well enough with my HTC Desire with CM7.1 Oh well, back to DropBox... |
[2011-10-31] Dawson: The Windows program is poor and things just don't sync. Shame from Ubuntu. |
[2011-10-29] Vishal: It's really a helpful app if works. On my nexus one, it gives an error "Error: null" on each operation. Not able to create new files n folders. |
[2011-10-26] shinken1: It WAS great, but now....idk Was working fine until I installed it on the Nexus S. Won't log in or claims service unavailable. Works great on the Evo with any ROM. |
[2011-10-26] Jason: Great app but would be better if you can see the thumbnails for the pics when browsing the folders. |
[2011-10-24] Matthew: LINUX! Great app nice work |
[2011-10-24] glogo: Amazing... no words :) It gives you a option to directly sync your folders with your account. For example I took a photo with my mobile phone and after 10 seconds (without doing a thing) It appeared in my desktop computer folder. ...and... and.. 5GB free... amazing ;) |
[2011-10-24] ik2cf: Works as advertised |
[2011-10-23] ardchoille: This app doesn't work on my EVO 4G. Other net apps work fine but, app says I need WiFi or network service, my network service is running. Ubuntu fail. |
[2011-10-23] Umay: Genius |
