Mit dem miCOS Tracker können Sie Ihr Android-Gerät immer und überall orten. Dazu müssen Sie lediglich eine SMS mit einem bestimmten Befehl an Ihr Android-Gerät schicken und das Gerät wird Ihnen eine SMS mit dem derzeitigen Ort zurückschicken.

Der miCOS Tracker ist damit optimale Gegenstück zu der Web-Applikation http://www.micosweb.de. Denn mit dem miCOS Tracker ist möglich, Ihr Android-Gerät immer und überall über http://www.micosweb.de suche zu lassen.

Die Applikation kennt zwei SMS-Befehle:
"GET GEO": Schicken Sie eine SMS mit dem Text "GET GEO" (Ohne Anführungszeichen) an Ihr Gerät und das Gerät wird versuchen sich an Hand der Netzwerkinformationen zu orten.
"GET GEO EXACT": Schicken Sie eine SMS mit dem Text "GET GEO EXACT" und das Gerät wird das GPS-Modul benutzen um einen möglichst genauen Ort zu finden.

Damit eine Ortung auf dem Gerät möglich ist muss mindestens eine der Ortungs-Technolgien (GPS- oder Netzwerk-basiert) aktiviert sein.

Der miCOS Tracker ist stets Passwort-geschützt um Unbefugten das Ändern von Daten zu verhindern. Sie können das Passwort im Haupt-Menu ändern.
!!! Standard-mäßig ist ein leeres Passwort vorgegeben (einfach auf <ENTER> drücken).

Um nicht jedem die Möglichkeit zugeben, Ihr Gerät zu orten, können die Befehle mit einer Passphrase versehen werden. Ist eine Passphrase (z.B. "ivag") eingestellt so ist das Gerät nur mittels folgendem Befehl zu orten: "ivag GET GEO". Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Passphrase stets klein geschrieben werden muss (sowohl beim Speichern als auch beim Befehl selber).

Standard-mäßig werden alle Ortungs-Ergebnisse an die Absender-Adresse der SMS geschickt. Sie können allerdings auch eine feste Empfänger-Adresse angeben. Damit sind Sie in der Lage zu bestimmen, wer die Ortungs-Information empfangen darf.

Die Ortungs-Genauigkeit hängt von div. Faktoren ab, dazu zählen unter anderem ob ein GPS-Signal empfangen werden kann und wieviele Telefon-Masten in Ihrer Nähe sind. Da es gerade bei GPS-Ortungen immer wieder zu starken Verzögerungen und dem damit verbundenen starken Akku-Verbrauch kommt, schaltet der miCOS Tracker nach 8 Minuten (!) automatisch in den Netzwerk-Ortungs-Modus (siehe "GET GEO"-Befehl).

TodoToday is a todo list application to show current due and overdue tasks from the online task management tool Doit.im

TodoToday for Doit is Ad supported. An Ad Free/Donation Supported version "TodoToday Pro for Doit" is also available.

TodoToday is intended to be a minimalist task manager focused on getting things done by showing the tasks that are due and allowing for basic task entry to capture new tasks.

For adding new tasks TodoToday supports a 'Smart Add' style syntax to include key task fields in the task entry text. The Project and Context for the task can be included in the task entry using the # and @ prefix, priority is set with the ! prefix e.g. "Call John tomorrow #Personal @Phone !3".
