Almost useless Since this is read only and since you can no longer sync it over the network, it's not much use for anything. Apparently you can install a beta with edit enabled from Launchpad, which would be an improvement, but it's still not very easy to use without network sync.

A good start While this version is very limited in its usefulness, there is a newer version released that supports editing. You can download the package from the official Launchpad site. You'll need to enable installing apps from unknown sources.

Copy paste and sending notes Read only is not so bad but I can't seem to copy paste text out of the note.last but not least there is no option to send out note as email, SMS or Bluetooth.

Major error Put in an extra letter in error on my login to U1. Bit keeps remembering my error and won't let me correct it. So I can't get in to evaluate.

Off to a good start I do most of my notes on my PC but then like to be able to refer to them later on my PC. Its still Read-Only as of Apr-2012 but still is still good enough to keep track of my daily to-do list.

Some unexpected behavior Works almost as advertised, except for one thing: when clicking on links to notes with titles that look like urls, this software goes to the url on the browser instead of going to the proper note. On the ubuntu desktop, tomboy goes to the note.

Alternative app This app is very good, but for many of those who are missing the ability to edit your notes on your android device and sync back to UbuntuOne and Tomboy Notes, there is an alternative which I had just found out about. Try Chalk Notes Beta app. I guess it lacks the ability to use links and some formatting but works for me perfectly for adding a simple note and editing your current ones. Sync with Tomboy on your linux machine works perfectly. Seemed like a great alterantive while Tomdroid is still in read-only mode.

Does the job I'm ok with the fact that it's read only to reduce the complexity of parallel editing. I'm sure this would also reduce battery usage of constantly polling and pushing data changes.

no real sd sync does not really sync with sd card...just imports. Therefore using dropbox to hold sync dir fails.

Right now you can only view all the notes. I have a lot of notes on different stuff. I like to sort them by subject and not have to look through them all. Not bad to start. Has an issue with spacing when I make a chart with tab spacing. ++ when I can write and search.
