[2013-08-16] A Google User: Nice Emulator. Very faithful to the original! Lawrence, if you're open to some simple suggestions, then consider breaking "true" emulation and make small concessions to the display. Back in the 70's the LED display technology was a huge limitation and some things that really should have been displayed were omitted. (1) A small status line to display things such as the current "2nd" and "INV" state, as well "Deg/Rad/Grad" would be incredibly useful. (2) In program mode a simple 3 character mnemonic (like "log" or "SUM" etc) could be appended to the numerical op-codes. This would greatly simplify program editing. Some purists might object to any departure from the original display, but it could be as an option. |

[2013-07-26] A Google User: It misses keystrokes. . . I've tried on different devices with the same result, if you type fast it misses the key presses frequently, otherwise this is a great emulator. Hope this problem can be fixed. |

[2013-06-22] A Google User: Simple It's on a phone so I don't expect it to be great but its usable |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Always kipping the numbers. :( |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Not bad, but need final, no beta relise... Good job bit need adjust and user define setting. I need sound level setting. |
[2013-05-02] A Google User: Good Bad the buttons are to small |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: GR8 |

[2013-03-21] A Google User: Keyera Horrible |
[2013-03-15] A Google User: Beautiful ui Much appreciate the effort put by the developer in replicating the ui. Very real. |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: Alert! !!! Sucks 100% waste of time do not download |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: Top notch I use this app every day. My real world calculator collects dust. Really good job! |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Very good just I don't like the sound |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: Surprisingly beautiful. Looks great on my Nexus 4. Could do without the title bar, though. |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Hmm Needs work. First thing I do on any calc is test divide by 0. Fail here, no error msg, just 0. Clicking key sounds are obnoxious and no apparent way to silence. On Nexus 7, app grabs whole screen and only uses 50%. At least make it float. All that in one minute test. There is promise here, but not ready for prime time. I'm shooting for the moon, not cosmic debris. |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: :( too basic |
[2012-10-30] A Google User: l |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: Great also. I still have my ti59 and the printer. The print head no longer works but it makes a good desk unit. I also have most of the ti59 newsletters (with all of tips and tricks). If you would like a copy of them let me know. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Good on my GS3 |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Love this but... I love this calculator and sincerely appreciate the effort that went in to it. It brings back lots of memories! This last update though doesn't fill my nexus 7 screen like the previous version did. I hope we can get that back. Thanks! |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Wonderful Loving this latest update to an already awesome calc. Easier to hit/see the buttons now. |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: What can I say - it is beyond words An old friend reminded me on how I used to do programming on TI-58C, and asked me if I still have the calculator. Sadly I said no. To my pleasant surprise, I now see it here. This app is so true to the original calculator that I refuse to believe it. It is wonderful and works just like the original. It turns the clock back 30 yrs for me when I was a fresh engineer at Telecoms. I programmed all the microwave path calculations into it and saved me hours and days of microwave path propagation calculations. For crying out loud, I learnt progamming on the TI-58C, and I am not an IT person. The user manual is so idiot-proofed that anyone can start writing simple programs within 24 hr. So sad that this calculator is no longer available. My utmost thanks to the app developer. As they say in sg, "Give that man a Tiger (beer)". You made my day. Tks. UPDATE: The "problem" with displaying the prog code listing has been fixed. You have to display the paper first before pressing "List". The "CLR" button also works OK now ie pressing it should NOT clear the T-Register. So, this app is good to go. |

[2012-10-12] A Google User: Keys are not responsive I push the keys and get locked out or they don't work at all. Galaxy SII |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: Sucks It sucks |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Awesome! Nostalgic yet useful! If you're one of the people complaining about the key sounds, I recommend two things; 1. Read the F'n help section! 2. Press Menu > More > Feedback and then switch to other setting Now you should feel like a real grown-up! You did it!!! |
[2012-09-08] A Google User: Excelent calculator Exactly as the original. With all the functionality. Thanks |
[2012-09-06] A Google User: Awesome Ascend 2 works great a must man |
[2012-08-24] A Google User: Thank You! I'll be needing this for Algebra II when school starts back up in a few days. I should've searched this a very long time ago. Would rate 10 stars if I could! |
[2012-08-21] A Google User: Good job |
[2012-07-15] A Google User: A must for every android! If you ever had or used a ti58/59 before, this is a must. Even the faint "C" on the leftmost digit is faithfully implemented. Now with selectable key sound or vibrate or off. I wish there is a way to remove those posts with key sound complaints. This app would get a solid 5! I still own my real ti59. But this is faster and more accurate in calculations (of course). Wonderful, thank you! But wait ... all other modules please! :) |
[2012-05-01] A Google User: LG Ally Some buttons didn't work. Of course the ones I needed the most. Uninstall. Found something a lot better. |
[2012-04-25] A Google User: Key sound fix To disable sound, go to Menu - More - Feedback - None. |

[2012-02-12] A Google User: Nostalgie Terrible de revoir cette machine a calculer qui a marqué mes études en sciences. Que de souvenirs. Que c'était une belle époque. USTL Montpellier IUT EEA. Tellement de bons moments |
[2012-02-08] A Google User: Loved it. Has space for a few simple improvements. It brought me back many memories from the college days. Just loved it. It would be perfect if sound on/off and vibration feedback could be implemented. Also a more brilliant display and a bit more contrastant palette for the keyboard. Even with device brightness at the maximum it's somewhat difficult to read. You know, after the 40's, sight becomes weaker and weaker. Despite of that, it already deserves five stars as it is. Congratulations! |
[2012-02-01] A Google User: To disable sound press menu then goto then feedback .. |
[2012-01-26] A Google User: Awesome. Would like to see the TI-60. |
[2012-01-12] A Google User: Disable sound with headset plugged in If you want to disable the sound plug in headphones to your jack I did it on my HTC inspire 4g and it works just fine no more of that annoying sound |
[2011-12-13] A Google User: Great, but no sound disable? Tried to disable the sound, no option to. Couldnt use during my exam because it still made noise, even when phone was on silent. 2 stars till fixed. |
