TaskSync for Exchange (v. 2.4.2) Разработано cranktheory.apps |
You miss the synchronization of tasks / todos from your Microsoft® Exchange 2007 / 2010 account with your phone? Then TaskSync is the answer.
TaskSync does NOT work with Exchange 2003, Outlook without Exchange, Hotmail or Zimbra. TaskSync does not work with ActiveSync but NEEDS Exchange Webservice, so please check the prerequisites before giving a bad rating.
Kerio is not yet supported, I'm working on it. The same applies to recurring tasks.
★ Important for users with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean:
Please install our free TaskSync JellyBean Workaround app after installing TaskSync which prevents the account removal bug.
★ Features:
✔ Synchronize, edit, create, complete and search your tasks (Only from the default tasks folder)
✔ Synchronize flagged emails (currently only from your inbox and sub-folders, you can only view and complete them)
✔ View tasks in Richtext/HTML (Note: in richtext mode you have to edit the HTML-source)
✔ Reminders/notifications (ringtone and vibration configurable) incl. snoozing
✔ Integrates with Pure Calendar Widget and Agenda Widget Plus
✔ Mark tasks as private
✔ Category-support (limited)
✔ SSL-encrypted communication (Supporting self-signed certs and untrusted Certificate Authorities)
✔ Homescreen-shortcuts
★ Prerequisites:
⇨ Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007 or 2010
⇨ Exchange Webservice published in the default virtual directory (/EWS)
⇨ Windows Authentication (NTLM) or basic authentication
★ Feedback:
If you have any problems or want to make suggestions please use the in-app feedback-option (via menu -> send feedback) to contact us as we cannot answer to comments. We will try to improve TaskSync based on your needs.
★ Permissions:
⇨ Account-, Sync- and System-permissions are used to plug TaskSync into the Android "accounts and sync"-system.
⇨ Internet-access and deactivate standby are necessary for the synchronization mechanism
⇨ Boot:
Necessary to re-set your reminders after a re-boot because android clears alarms when you restart your device.

[2012-12-18] A Google User: Almost perfect Good app. Syncs well. A widget for home screen will make this perfect! |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: Almost perfect For years dreaming for Exchange Task synchronization in android, and tried almost every other alternative, I say TaskSync is almost perfect. Snoozing reminders further in the future, the 2 hours max limit is way too low, i keep resorting to having to snooze on the PC would make it polished and give this app a solid 5. Keep up your great work. |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Great Very good! |
[2012-12-07] A Google User: Works Installed, connected, and works without drama so far. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Flawless syncing through exchange server. I have Touchdown and sync'd tasks through that program, buut hated the UI. I have replaced that with this program. For better user interface, very stable, great task app. Syncs with my outlook through OWA...very fast syncing and customizable. |
[2012-11-21] A Google User: long time user - reluctantly switching to Tasks I have used TaskSync for Exchange for 1.5 years. I had a problem with an update that caused me to lose data that had not synched. But most recently, my TS just stopped working. I contacted the developer, he responded quickly, but when I followed his advice and reinstalled it, the Exchange login just didn't work. The developer stopped responding to my requests for help. Finally, I couldn't wait any longer and just switched to Tasks for Microsoft Exchange. The set up was fast and it works. I just switched. I'd recommend it. |
[2012-11-20] A Google User: Finally App for enterprise users I'm not much wrong if I say that this is the only App that can sync your tasks with your MS Exchange 2010 via network (local or public). What I miss is a JB widget and to see attachments in my tasks. Until then I rate it with four stars. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Great app, great support Updating review to say the UI has been massively polished and now looks great, and the developer still responds to bug reports very quickly. Super-happy with this app. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Excellent, syncs with exchange talks Does just what it says. Reliably. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Best Task Sync App for Exchange Syncs flagged Emails as well. I tried many others. This one is best (for me). Superb support. Fixed a rare bug within 48h. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Great app I am happy when I find a good app! Congrats! :-) |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: Settings fogotten whenever server unreachable When the server is unreachable for whatever reason, the app forgets access settings and it has to be re-setup |
[2012-11-07] A Google User: Poor Customer Service I have sent five email requests along with a contact number and no reply in over a week, guess I lost my $4. |
[2012-10-30] A Google User: Finally An easy way to sync Outlook Tasks with Android. Very nice, simple, but a great tool. |
[2012-10-29] A Google User: Great app This app is exactly what I needed for managing my tasks in the spirit of GTD. Sync's perfectly with our company windows exchange server. The support I received was prompt and got me over a problem with my company's SSL setting. I can't say enough good about it. |
[2012-10-28] A Google User: Works perfectly Gui could be a bit nicer |
[2012-10-27] A Google User: Task sync falsely blamed for account locking When I first download this app I began getting locked out of my Exchange account. It turns out this was being caused by an old MacBook. I blamed this app because, as a side effect of using EWS, this app was the first to be affected by the lockout. This is actually a pretty good app and tech support was helpful and polite and gave me a refund. So I bought the app again. |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: Happy with this purchase Works well and as advertised. I live by my Exchange task lists, and this program keeps me up to date. |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: TaskSync is the best task app. Android finally added native syncing of tasks but TaskSync is better & worth the few bucks. Particularly now that the notifications are properly sorted |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Does the job Will give 5 stars once [full screen reminder] & [snooze 24 hrs] and [user friendly edit in richtext] is implemented |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Great Easy setup, does as advertised. Been about a week and as a field tech it made my life at work easier. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Very good! This completes my gtd system. Now working in JB with the latest JB update. |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: Best task app for exchange I have tried them all. This is the best. It will be perfect when it synchs with multiple exchange accounts. |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Great app Does the job perfectly.... and thanks for the fix. |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Forgets account credentials Frequently the whole account credentials are lost. |
[2012-09-28] A Google User: Not working Does not work for me...even with support of our organization's Helpdesk! Refund? Don't see that option yet |
[2012-09-28] A Google User: Finally So glad to have this! |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: Great app that doesnt work on jellybean Bought this and it works great on nexus phone...however the settings will constantly flush utof my tablet. It is inconvenient. Would give or update to 5 stars if the developer fixed it |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: Great but... Needs a widget and could be more beautiful. |
[2012-08-28] A Google User: Good Application GREAT support... Overall this is a good application for syncing tasks from Exchange to your Android phone. I've been able to get this application to work with both an on premise Exchange 2010 server as well as with Office 365. I have had some issues with the settings getting wiped out and most recently with some sync errors on my phone (Galaxy Nexus GSM running Jellybean). What makes this application great is the support. When I have had these errors the support team has been very helpful and friendly at helping to resolve the issues. Thank you Florian! I also have this application working with my Galaxy Nexus 7 tablet as well. |
[2012-08-28] A Google User: Good app, good service I think this app works just as what I expected. Sync my outlook tasks with my android phone from both ways. I had question how to get rid of the HTML code in the task content. Very quick response from the author. |
[2012-08-16] A Google User: Agree, I wish all apps worked this well. |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: Finally, great mobile task management for Exchange Got tired of waiting for Google to add Exchange task management to Android and found TaskSync. I love it so far! Note: I am running Android 4.1 and it is working for me. I just had to go into Settings, tap on the "Exchange" account and enable sync. |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: Needs a Widget Very good exchange task manager, however, to be fully useful it needs to have a widget. It can integrate with other widgets but that requires an additional purchase. |
[2012-08-07] A Google User: Awesome Syncs outlook flagged emails as tasks. Exactly what I needed it do |
[2012-07-20] A Google User: Best Exchange task app out there! Great app -- but the current version does NOT work with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1). I'm sure the dev will update soon to fix the issue though so never fear. I miss my TaskSync! |
[2012-06-29] A Google User: Great companion to Pure Calendar widgets! Does what it's supposed to. I wish it could use push as opposed to syncing every so often. Not sure if that's even possible for Exchange tasks though. |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: Just the job for GTD The by-categories view is great with the Outlook setup recommended for Getting Things Done. Don't miss the homescreen shortcuts to the different views. You'll need a shortcut to start in by category. Update: minor problem moving from an HTC Wildfire to a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. After working for a day, TaskSync stopped connecting to the server. Turning off gzip fixed it. |
[2012-06-14] A Google User: Does what it says Works perfectly provided your work's exchange server has exchange web services installed (double-check before buying!). Reminders work great. Needs a scrollable ICS widget for 5 stars though (only has shortcuts). |
[2012-06-01] A Google User: Must have for a complete PDA and PIM Outlook is a "Personal Information Manager" which does e-mail, manage contacts, calendaring, and tasks and it integrates well with Windows Mobile. Since Android came out, it is missing a task/to-do application which did not completely feel like a complete PDA for me, but it does e-mail, calendaring, and contacts, but that's about it. So I went out looking for task synchronization. First, I've discovered Taskos. I've installed it to see what it's like. I went into settings to see if I can setup Taskos to use Exchange sync only to find out that Taskos integrates with my Google account through Home, Settings, Accounts and Sync. Since Taskos is not what I want, I went ahead and purchase TaskSync for Exchange. It does not integrate with Android as far as getting Hosted Exchange account info, so I had to enter it manually. With that done and synched, I can add, remove, and edit tasks both through Outlook and TaskSync and it worked very well for me. With Android 4.0's e-mail client supporting folder hierarchy and multitouch and TaskSync for Exchange, Is TaskSync worth the price for ICS for saving $16 over getting TouchDown? Yes it is for me. With that said, I'm giving it 5 stars. |
[2012-05-12] A Google User: Great Tool The biggest loss moving to Android from Windows Mobile was the lack of great Exchange Synching. Email is not as seamless with delays on folder updates and the need of an extra app for Tasks. This is the best one I tried and I have stuck with it. It failed to run the first time, saying it was unlicensed but a reboot of the phone fixed that and it has worked flawlessly since then. |
[2012-05-11] A Google User: Disappointed App never synced with my Office365 Exchange server. Had no way of setting port. Purchased different task portal. Synced right up. |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: Perfect! Syncs perfectly W/ Outlook 2010 via Exchange. Exactly as advertised. |
[2012-04-30] A Google User: Great design, but missing 'snooze' for reminders I think it's a great product, excellent design, very easy to setup. For me it was the same settings as my 'exchange activesync' in the android (but yes we use https so that's probably why i had no issues). The drawback (and for e a major one) is that there is no easy way to delay/snooze reminders (like in outlook, where you select anything from 5 mins to 2 weeks from a drop down). I heavily rely on reminders that i set myself, as i don't want to have to keep checking my tasks list to see what i have to do at what time. As it currently works, the reminder does work, it's a very nice, non obstrusive notification in the top corner status bar. The problem is once you click on the notification, you can't do anything else besides exit the reminder. Once you exit the reminder, the reminder is now switched off and you need to go back into the TaskSync app, into the individual task and setup the reminder (again) for a future date. This to me is counter intuitive, and feels out of character with the rest of the app which is very well designed and intuitive. Not sure if this is the place - but if the developers read this, but can we please this as an 'enhancement request'. Thanks |
[2012-04-27] A Google User: Outstanding value I'd searched for an App to sync tasks through Outlook Exchange online (365) and this is IT ! What you need to do after connecting it is copy existing tasks to the Web portal for exchange, then all your existing tasks show up on all devices and in Outlook. New tasks show right up. What a fantastic App. Motorola Atrix 2. |
[2012-04-26] A Google User: Excellent Excellent app that follows the design guidelines (like action bar, spinners, etc) very well. It looks and feels extremely good on ICS. As for functionality, it excels there also. It syncs Exchange tasks perfectly. |
[2012-04-23] A Google User: Fantastic! Just what I was looking for... Works brilliantly, after a VERY quick email exchange with a developer I had the app working great within minutes. |
[2012-04-07] A Google User: Outstanding Very impressive. After having considerable issues setting up and using other apps that are supposed to sync with Exchange I was dubious as to this apps claims and hesitated to purchase it. However, I was extremely impressed how easy it was to configure and delighted the developers had taken the time and trouble to include on their website how Microsoft 365 users should configure the app. It took less than a minute to setup. Very pleased user. |
[2012-04-05] A Google User: Follow up If it would also sync the sent email, flaged with follow up. It would be perfect Please develop this feature! |
[2012-04-04] A Google User: Missing Link Works great. I hesitated with purchasing this app because I wasn't sure it would connect. I get my e-mail through Exchange and this worked exactly the same. 5 stars if Widget get added. |
[2012-03-28] A Google User: Does not work Only errors. No support response. |
[2012-03-27] A Google User: It works It aint pretty but it works. It would be cool if you could change the colors of categories. |
[2012-03-24] A Google User: Excellent Application Worked perfect...easy setup. |
[2012-03-20] A Google User: Great A widget would be nice though... |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: Excellent app Works great... especially the latest version which allows editing of comments by converting the horrendous outlook-generated HTML to easily editable plain text. Highly recommended. |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: Doesn't work properly The application constantly locks up and I have to force it to close. completed task continue to show even when they are filtered out and only active tasks are chosen to display in the view options. Uninstalled. |
[2012-03-12] A Google User: Great app. Widget would make it even more awesome. Works very well. |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Great app. Needs widget. Synch with exchange. Has flagged email support. Could use a widget. |
[2012-03-02] A Google User: Very good! Please share flagged emails with pure calendar widgets. Thanks |
[2012-02-23] A Google User: Excellent job Nice look and feel, syncs perfectly, good functions, no clutter. |
[2012-02-22] A Google User: Finally!! I have been looking for an app to get my tasks to sync to my Exchange account. Easy to set up and sync was seamless. Great app! |
[2012-02-22] A Google User: Almost..... Task content should be displayed as html. Not as text! Adding a bullet or such from outlook to a tasks content, and tasksync will display the html source instead of the note. |
[2012-02-16] A Google User: Worth getting Great little app, does exactly what you expect. would be 5 stars if it had a widget. |
[2012-02-05] A Google User: Great app Recently got a new job with an exchange server. Got the email synced, but really wanted something to sync tasks since I spend more time on my phone than on the computer. This is exactly what I've been looking for in a task sync app. Thank you for a great product! |
[2012-02-01] A Google User: Excellent task app for Exchange This app gets the job done nicely. The latest update to 2.2.1 brings an improved interface. Definitely the best task app for syncing with Exchange that I've tried. |
[2012-02-01] A Google User: Brilliant Good Dev support. Latest update makes it 5 stars. |
[2012-01-19] A Google User: Excellent app For me it is exactly what i've looked for. |
[2012-01-19] A Google User: No widget, no care. |
[2012-01-17] A Google User: Best app Great functionally and quick response |
[2012-01-15] A Google User: Awesome Thank you baby Android Jesus for a tasks sync app that finally works. |
[2012-01-12] A Google User: Excellent App for Exchange Works very well. It does everything it says. I would like a true tablet version but won't withold any stars for an excellent product. |
[2012-01-03] A Google User: Great application. Exactly what I wanted. I love this app because it does exactly what I needed, allowing me to seamlessly manage my Microsoft Exchange-based task list using my Android. TaskSync is able to work perfectly with Office365, which is my hosted Exchange provider. The initial configuration was a breeze using the helpful information on the developer's website. This app FAR exceeded my expectations and it is clear the developer put a lot of work into it and paid attention to every detail. |
[2011-12-11] A Google User: Perfect Sync directly to Exchange server! |
[2011-11-23] A Google User: Good App, does what it says on the tin Works fine for me, syncs nicely with my exchange server including flagged e-mails. |
[2011-11-22] A Google User: I want my money back The latest release is inoperable - I want a refund. |
[2011-11-21] A Google User: OK but doesn't do everything it says it does I paid a little extra for this app instead of Tasks for Microsoft® Exchange because this one said it can manage flagged emails as well. This feature does not work for me. Whenever I check the box in settings to be able to see and compete flagged emails, the app locks up and won't update flagged emails or tasks. I've sent the error messages to the developer, but the problem persists. |
[2011-11-21] A Google User: Application compatibility 11/21 - Market flagging as 'incompatible' fixed. This application is flagged as 'incompatible with your Nook Color' even though I've downloaded it and it works just fine. I hope the developer can work with Google to have this incorrect warning removed so others can enjoy this A+ application. |
[2011-11-15] A Google User: Good program and great developer! I have had a few problems with this program but the developer has been quick resolve them. New features have appeared regularly, with both bug fixes and new features. VERY active development happening with this program. Looking forward to new features regarding reminders but other than that minor issue, this has been a very useful program. |
[2011-11-15] A Google User: Updated review. Installed update over weekend; worked great until this afternoon now all it dies is crash. Un- and re-installed, no use. Inc2. |
[2011-11-15] A Google User: Solid App - Outstanding developer! The app does exactly what it says it does and it does it well. Ran into a small sync issue and the developer responded quickly and corrected the situation. The only thing this app lacks is a widget and I have suggested they look at the Taskos widget for ideas. I will be recommending this app to others that need to access their Exchange Tasks on their Droids. |
[2011-11-06] A Google User: Works beautifully, very intuitive, and when I did have a problem I wrote to the developer and it was fixed within a couple of hours! Worth money! |
[2011-11-05] A Google User: Finally, a great task apparently that syncs with Exchange AND shows flagged emails as tasks. The best!!! |
[2011-11-02] A Google User: Great Upgrade! I just upgraded to the latest version (had a few issues with the first upgrade.. but the developer was very helpful and got out a fix very quickly) The latest version is a huge update. it now will show flagged emails in your tasks list. just like outlook! This is huge since I flag emails to follow-up on alot. it basically runs my whole day. now, I can do this on my Android device in the field. |
[2011-10-22] A Google User: Disappointing...description suggests you can edit rich text in task, but you have to know HTML code. Misleading but no way to test easily. |
[2011-10-11] A Google User: Not much useful Removes reminders from tasks on its own!! This app sucks |
[2011-10-01] A Google User: Works 100% It's fast, it works and it's much better than TouchDown! |
[2011-09-07] A Google User: Great app & Great Dev Great job of bringing Exchange tasks to Android. The developer was very responsive when I emailed. My problem was a limitation of ActiveSync. |
[2011-09-07] A Google User: Would love a widget too. Great Finally an app that just syncs tasks. So much better than buying touchdown. |
[2011-09-07] A Google User: Easy to setup and works well This app is worth it. It was very easy to setup and works well so far. It brings missing functionality to Android for me that allows synchronization of tasks from Outlook that is connected to Exchange. Developer also responded to feedback quickly. |
[2011-09-04] A Google User: Didn't connect with exchange |
[2011-08-24] Chad: Great Finally an app that just syncs tasks. So much better than buying touchdown. |
[2011-08-23] A Google User: Works perfect, nice clean UI and small memory footprint. Must have for exchange users. |
[2011-08-23] Michael: Works perfect, nice clean UI and small memory footprint. Must have for exchange users. |
[2011-08-17] A Google User: Great app! I downloaded TaskSync on my DROID X today. So far I love this app! Now I have access to my tasks from my work in Outlook 2007. |
[2011-08-17] Charlotte: Great app! I downloaded TaskSync on my DROID X today. So far I love this app! Now I have access to my tasks from my work in Outlook 2007. |
[2011-08-10] A Google User: A first class app that does its job really well. Notes editing works best of you set up in text format. |
[2011-08-10] A Google User: Program works great and developer is incredibly responsive. A widget would make me ecstatic, though. |
[2011-08-10] sheldonrankin: A first class app that does its job really well. Notes editing works best of you set up in text format. |
[2011-08-10] carrie: Program works great and developer is incredibly responsive. A widget would make me ecstatic, though. |
[2011-07-27] A Google User: Great application and does what it says on the tin. Give me a widget and I'll give this 5 stars |
