[2013-07-17] A Google User: Lacking key features-no landscape view Had high hopes but it doesn't, really deliver. No proper SMPTE time code, no ability to link to audio files for music video production. Clap noise is almost inaudible compared to proper board. Text is too small to read on certain focal lengths. Vertical only operation so if you have a nice nexus10, it's wasted. There's also a load of programming code on screen. Disappointed with this poor app when the market potential for one that actually works is massive. |

[2013-07-08] A Google User: Does not change to landscape for tablets Waist of time |
[2013-04-14] A Google User: Would pay money for LTC output and sync Works well, but I need LTC in/out and would absolutely pay for those features. Please add! |
[2013-02-25] A Google User: Not Quite Ready I want to love this app. It shows a lot of potential and has some really nice features, but... ...it's totally jacked on my S3. The debug info is onscreen all the time, regardless of the setting. Not too responsive as I tap around. AND it won't work on my Nexus 7 or Galaxy Note 10.1. That's what I really want. Is this still in development? |
[2012-10-20] A Google User: Great start but still very beta GUI is very cramped, also the app crashed |
[2012-08-05] A Google User: Useful App. Needs a few tweaks. Better than most other slate apps on Android. My only suggestions would be to map the slate trigger to the power or on/off buttons, and to change the clapper sound to a more audible beep noise like the one used for DSLR Slate on iOS. If the shot log info could be written in either xml or html format and then synced to a dropbox account or email account then I would gladly pay $9.99 or more. |

[2012-06-08] A Google User: This thing sux. Idk why people are saying that this is so kool but I can't figure anything out and u can't even put the slate down. |
[2012-04-25] A Google User: typo Your app says, "Marking the slate cuases the stopwatch to automatically start." "causes" is the correct word |
[2012-02-27] A Google User: not quite what's advertised it's understandable that it's in beta but... it's no where close to clean, has no documentation, and doesn't appear to do what it's expected to do. that being said, i'll try it again when it get's more mature. of course, I'M doing digital video production and don't need anything beyond the clapper... |

[2012-01-17] A Google User: Best out there unfortunatly Needs some ux work.. Too fidlly when shooting rushed scenes. Dev needs to take on feedback quickly to avoid better apps coming on the market |

[2011-12-21] A Google User: Doesn't fit on my screen. I have a relativity small screen and this app simply doesn't fit, making it useless for me. Looks like a good app, but if everything doesnt fit on one screen it wont work. Might check back on it after a while though. It looks like it has some potential. |

[2011-09-24] Ntchi: Excellent! Needs Timecode row and FPS format Very good app! Just needs a second row under the chronometer with regular Timecode (good for people shooting live event multi-cam) And in the setting the ability to chose the frame rate format to make sure timecode is accurate to 24fps (23.976) or 30fps (29.97) |
[2011-09-22] A Google User: Still waiting for Honeycomb It is very useful however it will be best if they took advantage of the screen of Honeycomb tablets. Time code is also missing. |

[2011-09-10] A Google User: Needs Frame Accurate Time Code NTSC (U.S.) video shoots at 30 frames/second. PAL (European) is 25 FPS, and film is 24 FPS. A timecode slate needs to be accurate to the exact frame of the format you are using. Thus your time in this beta version is accurate to the 1/10th of a second which does not match the frame rate of video or film formats. If you are even one or two frames off in editing the lips do not sync right. I suggest you make a user option to show time down to 24, 25 or 30 frames per second. |

[2011-08-20] A Google User: I love it! A great tool for keeping track of shots, takes, and scenes, and their quality. Amazing for being beta, hope for timecode in the final release though. |
