Google Map with Topographic Map, View areas of State Plane Coordinate Systems, UTMs and Principal Meridian overlays.
Geo-tagged photos. Take and email photos displaying lat/long time, description and direction of the photo. Photos saved as Google Earth KMZ.
State Plane Coordinate Conversions NAD83 <> WGS84 latitude and Longitude.
Geiod height calculation tool. Show geiod height for any location.
Point ID, show addresses with county/zip code location.
Weather Forecast and Weather Radar tool. Display weather information by simply picking a position on the map.
Geo-code Latitude/Longitude to Township, Range and Section.
Magnetic Declination tool. Show the magnetic declination at any point on map.
Show GPS position, Search for locations or positions by latitude/longitude. View NGS points, NGS data sheets and NGS Vertcon data.
*** Program notes:
Some functions only available with internet connection. NGS points for example have been reported as not working while this function is completely dependent upon the NGS server. Smartphones are incapable of holding this much data and I as the developer do not have the time to maintain a data base of this size. In short -- Internet connection required.
Program is not currently available for Android 3.0+
Some maps and overlays only available in the USA.

[2012-09-05] A Google User: Not Perfect but.. I think that it is asking a bit much for an android GPS to have surveying accuracy. That said I can pull this out and be relativey close enough to find a landmark on the airphoto and find a surveying pin. I can see property lines but know that the position shown on the map by the app is not where I am on the face of the earth by 20 feet to 35 feet. That is not half bad....I used to use a sextant so accuracy is all relative. I am hugging myself with pure joy at all of the navigational apps that I can access with my phone. This one has a bit of work to do but is very helpful. I wish the program had ways to calibrate it and reset to 0. For instance the Inclinometer is off by about 4.2 degrees. Some times it vomits through the battery so I carry a spare battery or plug it back into the charger. Please keep the pressure on and make improvements. |

[2012-08-27] A Google User: NHS data stopped working. Having these functions available in the field is invaluable to surveyors. Dropped rating until NGS data works again. |

[2012-06-18] A Google User: Works some of the time I tried 3 times to look up NGS benchmarks. The first time it displayed a map, but no benchmarks. The second time it worked great and I was able to look up the datasheets. The third time the screen was blank with no map or benchmarks. Droid RAZR. |

[2012-04-25] A Google User: Very useful I was skeptical but found that it does a lot of quick reference stuff i need in the field. Being a surveyor on large sites at various places in the country it is nice app to have. I can find ngs mons and read the datasheets with ease. Seeing what state zone is really cool. Very helpful to see township names as well. I still have features to explore. Hope to see this app continue to grow. |

[2012-04-11] A Google User: Almost perfect Use of state plane grid system coordinates would be great. It would be nice to enter in those types of coordinates and have a hand held GPS function in US feet so I can find control points that someone else has set. |
