[2012-10-07] A Google User: This could be a convenient app. The options aren't really options that I was looking for. I really want an easy way to share copied text & URL to google plus&Facebook without needing those apps. There's options to search Web, maps, YouTube, Amazon, wiki, market, there's a share option but it brings up your share menu. With browser open it shows the white screen with the URL and page title. Copy button copies the URL of webpage. Edit mode makes that URL & page title editable &then you can copy after edited. Add g+ &fb & I'll be real happy. |

[2012-09-25] A Google User: Could be me that's thick! Getting into Android stuff now, and desperate to understand everything, but can't get my head round this... can seem to use it with certain apps when it comes up in the share options, but can't select text on some apps and when I go into it, it whites out the screen and only lets me type over the top.. thought it might be a tablet issue, but does exactly the same on my phone. Will persevere with it. I will do all you can do eventually - perhaps even root my phone one day who knows? |

[2012-09-14] A Google User: this is s godsend, so freaking useful I actually installed the Pro version, but more people see this, so I thought I'd copy my review here: Great app, go to the bottom for criticisms. I spent hours searching for an app that let me search a selected text from any app & send it to the wiki app. The wiki app doesn't open itself to share functionality. And Android doesn't provide custom search (only google/bing/yahoo). This is the only app that does the job ! Criticism 1: The only thing is I wish it could be automated, so that I can choose a search (like wiki) by default. Maybe it is possible, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Although it's great that it has a fully customizable search, it'd be cool if I could choose 1 to launch by default. So that I don't have to press an additional button. The time can add up. My criticisms 2 and 3 turned out to be false! I discovered the functionalities just as I was typing them ! I was thinking it'd be great if the app positioned itself on top of the share-list, & just noticed the option! I was also going to suggest SupportText close itself after the search, & the option's there ! Whoever designed this is a thoughtful programmer. Please continue improving it. |
