[2013-02-05] A Google User: You will lose your data This app will cause you to lose data. Had it installed on three phones over the past 4 years. Most of the time it crashes on startup about 30% of the time, but it eventually gets to a point where it just won't open anymore. That's when you have to reinstall-- and lose your data. You'll see plenty of complaints about this on-going problem all over the web. You'll also note that this has been claimed to be fixed many times in update notices. Absolutely not the case. |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: SplashID Safe Great app, but requires password a little too often. You would think that the app would stay unlocked until you closed it, right? |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: Great on phone, good on Nexus7 More features are available on the tablet version (for additional cost). PC app is very good. Customer support is excellent! |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: Great app Great app |
[2013-02-02] A Google User: Splash id Love it |
[2013-02-02] A Google User: Great! If only I could remember to enter all passwords as I assign them! |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: Pretty bad on infuse. Crashes a lot I hope, the security of this app is better than its stability. |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: Dont waste your Money Since the update to version 6.2 I have been unable to sync my PC to mobile devices (Galaxy tab 2 and Galaxy Ace). Data ends corrupted on the Droid Devices. Recomended solution was to uninstall and reinstall, the answer u give when u have no idea. Needless to say it hasnt resolved my issue. Asking for q refund. |
[2013-01-31] A Google User: Great app I have close to 150 userid's and this a great way keep track of all of them |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: I like SplashID Used it with my old BlackBerry and am very happy to have it on my new Galaxy S3. I keep the database on my Dell desktop & sync to the Galaxy whenever I make a change or addition. It's very secure if you use a strong password & it's handy to carry with me a totally secure list of passwords & other personal info with total confidence that if my phone is lost or stolen my data can't be read |
[2013-01-29] A Google User: Works x platforms And good tech support too |
[2013-01-29] A Google User: Good product Not quite as easy as the Palm. Version but it is adequate. |
[2013-01-28] A Google User: Problem with display on Note 2 This is one of my all time favorite programs, and when I've had to call for support everyone was extremely accommodating. However, the display its messed up on my new Galaxy Note 2. I hope you fix this soon. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: Pales compared to the ios version I have been using splash id since my days as a Palm user. While I cannot live without it, the android interface pales compared to the ios version. Come on guys, put some design and UI effort into this. My disappointment aside, it still works well and is easy to sync amongst my PC and various mobile devices. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Disappointed I moved UP to Galaxy Note2 from iPhone 4 and been using Splash ID since iPhone 3. I LOVED the app on my iPhone 4 so I got the android app as a no-brainer. What a piece of crap compared to the IOS. Come on you guys the IOS is yesterday's news! FIX THIS!! |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Needs cloud syncing I've been using SplashID since the Palm OS days on a Treo. But it seriously needs to be updated to keep up. Competing apps all have cloud syncing. Why is desktop syncing the only option? And it's an additional $20? Add cloud syncing soon or I'm jumping ship. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Very adaptable This is still my password safe of choice. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Galaxy Note II Had the iOS & desktop for almost 5 years, now have a droid. So far no problems, has always worked well, no issues. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Splashid Has been a trooper for me. Not without its faults, but worth it. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: What happened? What happened the version causes it to hang up as loading will not take my password!! Help can't get to passwords!! |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: been using it for years first on IOS was good. Ditched iPhone for Gaxaxy S3 running jelly bean. simple transfer, painless app. |
[2013-01-19] A Google User: Does the job well Good secrets app. Has matching app on mac and PC and can sync them on your network. |
[2013-01-19] A Google User: HTC x works like charm |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: This app will let you down I have had the paid for version for cel and desktop. Twice this app has caused me to lose large amounts of info even with back ups. Awesome idea, poor execution. If it hasn't failed you yet, it will. |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Great app. Many options. Synchs with multiple PCs. Uninstall/reinstall app from Market to launch from icon. Click LockNow then Home to lock app. |
[2013-01-17] A Google User: Works well |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Good customization flexibility Was looking for a replacement for my organized excel sheet of stored passwords of websites credit cards bank accounts etc and this seems a good find specially with the wife sync feature to my Samsung android making it very convenient to carry all important info reqd on the go. Try it if it fits your needs. I have heard roboform is good for only passwords. |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Useful I have been using splash id for years and across many platforms. Love that this syncs between my phone, iPad and android phone. Android app is not nearly as good as the iOS app. On my wishlist... Ability to copy password without going to edit. And a customizable lockout interval to eliminate continually signing into app. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Hbrev Great but my phone causes a force close about one out of every four times. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Useful tool But it makes me enter password over and over, even between screens. |
[2013-01-14] A Google User: Almost great Crashes often on entry, then okay on retry. A minor nuisance in an otherwise great app. |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: Splash ID This is one of the best password keepers for android, desktop sync is easier to use than ever.great way to backup your passwords |
[2013-01-11] A Google User: Keeps making me sign on! Almost every time I need to use the program, I have to sign on twice. Also you need an option to allow the program to stay signed in. I'm thinking of moving on. |
[2013-01-11] A Google User: Not enough development Why can't I cloud sync like I can with dropbox and evernote (and a heap of other apps) across all of my desktops and devices? This product feels like it is still from the 90's when it was big on Palm. Paid for phone and computer version, expensive and disappointing. |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Destinn2 Note 2 Great app use all the time now |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: getting old with the forced closing many forced closings on sign on these days and almost always when going from item view to list view it signs me out. been with this program a long time, but it's getting time to move along with this annoying "feature" |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Great product and fast tech support... Using Galaxy S2 Great product and fast tech support... Using Galaxy S2 on Sprint network. |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Solid app The more you use, the more useful it becomes. |
[2013-01-07] A Google User: Great! Been using this app since my treo.. Works as advertised. |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: Not as good as it used to be Having been using this product for a few year now, first with Palm , then with WinCe this product is just not as good as it used to be. here are a couple thing needing improvement 1- Synch with PC Splashsafe Sw is buggy. data corrupts on the Device depending on password format used. 2- lack the ability to scroll from one record to the next. scrolling will really help. |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: After 6 years I've had it! SplashID for PC is a great program and it pains me to ditch it because I have used it since Palm Pilot days. But the Android app was always clunky, the UI a mess. But worst is the hardly if ever and then unreliably working sync between Android and PC. More often than not a sync produced duplicate entries in one of the two databases and I have been erasing all entries in one database before I synced for more than 6 months now. Sadly this dev has fallen behind the times. I am working with two PCs and two Android devices now and I want the data between devices to match at all times. Easy and reliable synchronization between devices and platforms should be a MUST nowadays, and SplashID just doesn't deliver it. I've moved on to PasswordSafe Pro, tested it extensively, and it syncs flawlessly between 4 devices through Dropbox. $20 for both Android and Windows license is kind of steep, but the dev promises, it's forever! And I've paid for different versions and upgrades for SplashID probably 4 times as much. Adios! |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Luis This is an awesome app. I have been using it for years. It is safe and reliable. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Best application ever I have been using SplashID since my first Palm!!! So it'd been awhile ;-) It has followed me on all devices since then (more than 15 years). I don't know what I 'd do without it! |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Excellent! This is a MUST have app |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Improved but still problems With the newest update, I finally don't get as numerous force closes! However, it always jumps back to login screen when I open it having left a record showing, the last time I had logged in. I always need to be sure I've used the back arrow to exit a record before I log out. Annoying bug! |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: A hidden surprise around every corner after you pay your ten dollars here, they will get you for another twenty for your desktop application, and that's all before you get to see if it even synchronizes correctly. That's not all then they will get you for another ten when they release an update to the application. It's limited to major versions they will probably get it from you every six months like a leech sucking your life out of you. I was a long term user of this application on the Palm and Windows Mobile, but the applications where purchased at retail. I'm not getting sucked into this void, You can make up your own mind but I warned you. |
[2013-01-01] A Google User: Very good mixed OS repository I have this app installed on IOS, Mac os X, windows and now Android. Android version is not as easy to use as on other platforms. The wifi syncing across all devices is its strong suit. It does not rely on dropbox or other file sync software. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Sync No ability to sync with usb. If your in a remote area, you can't sync. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Longtime user but moving on Like others, I have used SplashID for years but the Android version is slow, lacks a reliable sync option and hangs up. Will be moving on. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Pretty satisfied Mostly great... but wish you did not have to go back to the main list before closing. If I don't, the next time I try to open it I have to log in twice. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: IOS version is much better. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: SplashID Solid app, does what it says it does. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Great App Great App |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Helps me many times a day We all have tens or maybe hundreds of passwords which we need at our fingertips in an easy, fast but very Secure environment. Splash allows exactly this. I would have a very hard time without s it's functionality. Great job! |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: App continues to decline in value Long term user since Palm version more than a decade ago. Third iteration of app. I thought the iPhone version was bad, slow loading, horribly slow sorts, sync errors resulting in corrupted and/or lost data. Sadly, I didn't realize how good I had it. Android experience has been even worse. Every issue with iPhone version is worse with Android. Only reason for 3 stars is hope that things will improve with next release, and the fact there is nothing else out there in the same league....but I'm looking again. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Must have I have depended on this app for many years, through different phones. It has never let me down. |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Splashid The system syncs very well with 2 smartphones and 4 computer. Could use a more user friendly scrolling system. |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: SplashID Great product and easy to use. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Effective authentication tool worth significant frustrations Dandy authentication tool. However, settings aren't adjustable. Auto exit by closing a browser window, that had been opened by SplashID, is disruptive. Attempting to reopen SplashID, reopens last SplashID screen with chosen record, & hitting backup button simply brings back login. Auto logoff really needs to be user adjustable. |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: A liitle disappointed Used to work better. Had trouble with both the modified dates and attachments corrupted. Also lost a few characters or changed them to garbage on a few other fields and labels. |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Unhappy Geek I live this app. when I had an I-phone but since I bought my note II it has not worked at all. Dobt buy this if your not using an apple product! |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: Poor sync Love the some the ease of use but awful synchronizing thru WiFi. I have the most updated program on all my tech gadgets and cannot sync any of them. I would give 5 stars if I could sync all of them. I have had this program longer than 2007 and do not want to start over with another app. Please help. |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: Longtime user - still happy Happy user since version 1 on PalmOS. Love wireless sync. Would like simpler unmask command on Android. |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: So so If I had to rethink this purchase again I would look elsewhere. A waste of money in my book |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Great app...!!!!!!! Love this app!!!! |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: I've used splash ID on my last 3 phones and continue to love how easy it is to use. All my passwords are in 1 place |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Sok Not diverse enough. After buying, found better apps for same or less money |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: Antonio Very useful |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: Great Great app for keeping track of your passwords and other important information. Only thing miss is an enterprise version. |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Doesnt work on Samsung Galaxy S3 I have been using this app for years. Old phone 4G Epic worked ok. New phone S3 no longer can login. |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Great program Have been using for years. Great way to keep track of passwords and other sensitive info. |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Splash I'D Excellent |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: good on iphone, bad on android I just switched from apple to android. This app is such a disappointment! On the iphone it was fine, but on my android, it makes me enter my password as many as three times. It is buggy. They selection drop downs are too small. The search is slow and spotty. They UI is really clunky! Guys - fix this app please! At least please make it as good as the iphone one. |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: A one all the way Been using it for years! |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: This is my trusted app. I use it on all my devices, and everything is synced to my PC. Only comment I have is that individual item select on phone or tablet is a bit small for the fingertips... I updated my phone, just to download this application. A+ |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: Functional, but not polished It works, but just barely. The User Interface looks like the work of a lazy high school student. |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Good app works, does the job, use it every day. The nag screen to please rate the app is annoying, especially since I rated the app! |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Outdated I'll agree with many users that this app used to be king of passwords. But with few updates and bugs galore ita starting to fall behind the rest. |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: Bad user interface I was a user of Splash I'D for years, started with Nokia phones, iPhone, desktop, but no more. I recently moved to Android, paid the usual overpriced client, and found it to be very disappointing. It was badly designed. Having many categories and items it worked very slowly. The menus were awful with tiny text that you can hardly touch, there are bugs etc. It really seemed they gave the job to a student... I now moved to Safe-in-cloud and so far I'm happy. |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: SplashID Pretty good app and pretty customizable. Considering some of the cap out there this one is really worth the what five bucks. |
[2012-12-13] A Google User: Can't do without it I synch this with my PC and it works great, can't say enough about it. |
[2012-12-13] A Google User: No problems so far Been using Splash ID for years on a Blackberry, any problems always resolved very quickly by their support. I just moved to a Galaxy S3 and I got the Android version downloaded and syncing with my PC is a few minutes. So far no problems. |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: Disappointed I've been using SplashID for a decade but the latest version won't allow me to edit entries on my Galaxy S3. I can add entries, but existing entries cannot be edited to change passwords, etc. anywhere except on my laptop. This is highly inconvenient if I'm out and want to make a change away from my computer. |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: Excellent Product Works like a charm. Keeps all kinds of useful information stored conveniently. Syncs between mobile device and desktop effortlessly. Recommended! |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Windows 7 & Samsung S3 I'm a long time splashid desktop only user. I LOVE the Android app and it was super easy to see my desktop client during install and to sync the two - it took less than 5 seconds for my entire db. 4 stars was due to the price- all in was $30 because I was on a super old desktop version. A little steep. |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Secure App Originally gave this app a 1 star because developer hides behind firewalls, refuses access to customers for assistance person to person. They will answer problems conveyed on their forum to the user requesting help, but they still will not post fixes even to their own forum. |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Can only sync on wifi directly to desktop Most other options work fine in this but having to directly sync my desktop and phone over wifi is an uneeded complexity. At work it is imposible because of the wifi security and at home it is a hassle because I have to manually enter the ip. If you want a password manager to easily sync dont bother with this one. Splashdata why dont you get USB cable syncing to work! |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: Excellent program Excellent way to keep track of passwords. Ensures you can keep back ups just in case. Ive had a version of this program about 5 years now and wouldnt be without it |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: Just the greatest ever. I first purchused this program about ten years ago when I got my first palm pilot. Next the palm pilot started dying out and I got a smart phone. I used it on both devices until I stopped using the palm pilot. I have now transfered it from my Black Berry to my new Samsung Galaxy S3. This program just does not get old. Best Ever! |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: Good app This app fits my needs, however would benefit from an UI overhaul. Also needs the ability to sync to multiple devices. |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Excellent app |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Good app Great sync options and abillity to search across all text makes it for me. |
[2012-12-07] A Google User: Splash ID Safe Not as user-friendly as it could be. Buggy app. |
[2012-12-07] A Google User: Doesn't sync on HTC G2 Tech support has so far not been able to help. |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Great App No more searching for usernames and passwords. Used it since Palm OS. Now on Android and Windows. |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: Review Very good! Used it for years no |
[2012-12-04] A Google User: Really disappointed This used to work. $30 total, including the computer license, then another $10 for a forced update. Finally verdict is that for this type of money, I don't expect to have to keep restoring my DB, & when restoring, it should be able to see the DB I have been building for 3 years. |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: SplashID Great app , easy to use. |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: Excellent Fast sync with desktop. Reliable. |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: Solid operating product I believe the UI could be a little better and the constant sign in is a necessary evil. However, having had a phone stolen in the recent past, this product gave me some peace of mind that my sensitive data was protected. |
