You will lose your data This app will cause you to lose data. Had it installed on three phones over the past 4 years. Most of the time it crashes on startup about 30% of the time, but it eventually gets to a point where it just won't open anymore. That's when you have to reinstall-- and lose your data. You'll see plenty of complaints about this on-going problem all over the web. You'll also note that this has been claimed to be fixed many times in update notices. Absolutely not the case.

Dont waste your Money Since the update to version 6.2 I have been unable to sync my PC to mobile devices (Galaxy tab 2 and Galaxy Ace). Data ends corrupted on the Droid Devices. Recomended solution was to uninstall and reinstall, the answer u give when u have no idea. Needless to say it hasnt resolved my issue. Asking for q refund.

I like SplashID Used it with my old BlackBerry and am very happy to have it on my new Galaxy S3. I keep the database on my Dell desktop & sync to the Galaxy whenever I make a change or addition. It's very secure if you use a strong password & it's handy to carry with me a totally secure list of passwords & other personal info with total confidence that if my phone is lost or stolen my data can't be read

Pales compared to the ios version I have been using splash id since my days as a Palm user. While I cannot live without it, the android interface pales compared to the ios version. Come on guys, put some design and UI effort into this. My disappointment aside, it still works well and is easy to sync amongst my PC and various mobile devices.

Needs cloud syncing I've been using SplashID since the Palm OS days on a Treo. But it seriously needs to be updated to keep up. Competing apps all have cloud syncing. Why is desktop syncing the only option? And it's an additional $20? Add cloud syncing soon or I'm jumping ship.

Useful I have been using splash id for years and across many platforms. Love that this syncs between my phone, iPad and android phone. Android app is not nearly as good as the iOS app. On my wishlist... Ability to copy password without going to edit. And a customizable lockout interval to eliminate continually signing into app.

Not as good as it used to be Having been using this product for a few year now, first with Palm , then with WinCe this product is just not as good as it used to be. here are a couple thing needing improvement 1- Synch with PC Splashsafe Sw is buggy. data corrupts on the Device depending on password format used. 2- lack the ability to scroll from one record to the next. scrolling will really help.

After 6 years I've had it! SplashID for PC is a great program and it pains me to ditch it because I have used it since Palm Pilot days. But the Android app was always clunky, the UI a mess. But worst is the hardly if ever and then unreliably working sync between Android and PC. More often than not a sync produced duplicate entries in one of the two databases and I have been erasing all entries in one database before I synced for more than 6 months now. Sadly this dev has fallen behind the times. I am working with two PCs and two Android devices now and I want the data between devices to match at all times. Easy and reliable synchronization between devices and platforms should be a MUST nowadays, and SplashID just doesn't deliver it. I've moved on to PasswordSafe Pro, tested it extensively, and it syncs flawlessly between 4 devices through Dropbox. $20 for both Android and Windows license is kind of steep, but the dev promises, it's forever! And I've paid for different versions and upgrades for SplashID probably 4 times as much. Adios!

Improved but still problems With the newest update, I finally don't get as numerous force closes! However, it always jumps back to login screen when I open it having left a record showing, the last time I had logged in. I always need to be sure I've used the back arrow to exit a record before I log out. Annoying bug!

A hidden surprise around every corner after you pay your ten dollars here, they will get you for another twenty for your desktop application, and that's all before you get to see if it even synchronizes correctly. That's not all then they will get you for another ten when they release an update to the application. It's limited to major versions they will probably get it from you every six months like a leech sucking your life out of you. I was a long term user of this application on the Palm and Windows Mobile, but the applications where purchased at retail. I'm not getting sucked into this void, You can make up your own mind but I warned you.

Very good mixed OS repository I have this app installed on IOS, Mac os X, windows and now Android. Android version is not as easy to use as on other platforms. The wifi syncing across all devices is its strong suit. It does not rely on dropbox or other file sync software.

App continues to decline in value Long term user since Palm version more than a decade ago. Third iteration of app. I thought the iPhone version was bad, slow loading, horribly slow sorts, sync errors resulting in corrupted and/or lost data. Sadly, I didn't realize how good I had it. Android experience has been even worse. Every issue with iPhone version is worse with Android. Only reason for 3 stars is hope that things will improve with next release, and the fact there is nothing else out there in the same league....but I'm looking again.

Effective authentication tool worth significant frustrations Dandy authentication tool. However, settings aren't adjustable. Auto exit by closing a browser window, that had been opened by SplashID, is disruptive. Attempting to reopen SplashID, reopens last SplashID screen with chosen record, & hitting backup button simply brings back login. Auto logoff really needs to be user adjustable.

On the iphone it was fine, but on my android, it makes me enter my password as many as three times. It is buggy. They selection drop downs are too small. The search is slow and spotty. Bad user interface I was a user of Splash I'D for years, started with Nokia phones, iPhone, desktop, but no more. I recently moved to Android, paid the usual overpriced client, and found it to be very disappointing. It was badly designed. Having many categories and items it worked very slowly. The menus were awful with tiny text that you can hardly touch, there are bugs etc. It really seemed they gave the job to a student... I now moved to Safe-in-cloud and so far I'm happy.

No problems so far Been using Splash ID for years on a Blackberry, any problems always resolved very quickly by their support. I just moved to a Galaxy S3 and I got the Android version downloaded and syncing with my PC is a few minutes. So far no problems.

Disappointed I've been using SplashID for a decade but the latest version won't allow me to edit entries on my Galaxy S3. I can add entries, but existing entries cannot be edited to change passwords, etc. anywhere except on my laptop. Windows 7 & Samsung S3 I'm a long time splashid desktop only user. I LOVE the Android app and it was super easy to see my desktop client during install and to sync the two - it took less than 5 seconds for my entire db. 4 stars was due to the price- all in was $30 because I was on a super old desktop version. Secure App Originally gave this app a 1 star because developer hides behind firewalls, refuses access to customers for assistance person to person. They will answer problems conveyed on their forum to the user requesting help, but they still will not post fixes even to their own forum.

Can only sync on wifi directly to desktop Most other options work fine in this but having to directly sync my desktop and phone over wifi is an uneeded complexity. At work it is imposible because of the wifi security and at home it is a hassle because I have to manually enter the ip. If you want a password manager to easily sync dont bother with this one. Splashdata why dont you get USB cable syncing to work!

Just the greatest ever. I first purchused this program about ten years ago when I got my first palm pilot. Next the palm pilot started dying out and I got a smart phone. I used it on both devices until I stopped using the palm pilot. I have now transfered it from my Black Berry to my new Samsung Galaxy S3. This program just does not get old. Best Ever!

Really disappointed This used to work. $30 total, including the computer license, then another $10 for a forced update. Solid operating product I believe the UI could be a little better and the constant sign in is a necessary evil. However, having had a phone stolen in the recent past, this product gave me some peace of mind that my sensitive data was protected.
