Speed Reader provides the fastest reading experience available on hand-held devices.

Browse files on your device or download directly from the web. Also integrated into OS to allow opening from email, file browsers, web browsers and other apps.
Full support for ePub, doc, html and text files.
Limited support for pdf documents.
PDF Limitations: Encrypted and password protected pdf documents are not yet supported.
(Most other files types will open in raw format)
Allows you to “speed read” documents by automatically scrolling (horizontally or vertically) or by flashing the text across the screen and automatically removing unnecessary words.
You control the speed and size of the text and what words, if any, to exclude.

[2012-12-06] A Google User: Clunky interface Core function works ok, but clunky features. Would like to see wpm adjuster rather than a percentage speed slider. 100 percent of what? Also would like to see option for millisecond delay for punctuation and long words. And there should be an easier way to repeat what you've just read without having to go back to bookmarks. |

[2012-06-29] A Google User: been waiting I'd been waiting for someone to implement a reader like this on Android. Bought this as soon as I saw it a while ago and love it. I agree with the review suggesting an option to give a pause at appropriate punctuation (fullstop, comma, semi colon). |
