Wonderful app Brilliant. Does exactly what's advertised. Writing an SMS is as easy as doubleclick-select-type-enter. Received SMS pop up directly on your screen and allow you to reply instantly. The Desktop Application seemlessly integrates over adb or wifi. No configuration required. Will definitely keep.

It works except for just one little thing. I've been using the application for a while and it works for the most part. It gets a little finicky when connecting to the pc and occasionally will need a restart on the phone / desktop or both. Keep in mind that this happens very infrequently. My only issue is the Request Returned Receipt (Delivery Receipts) functionality DOES NOT WORK when you send a text from the interface. This may not seem like important functionality, but when you're divorced, it's VERY important. I'll give it a 3 star review until this functionality gets fixed. Then it goes to 4 stars.

Used to work... I used to use this all the time on my OG Evo. I have an Evo LTE now and it worked when I first got it, but after 4.0.4 and up it does not connect to my PC. I hope this gets fixed.

NOT a simple APP HTC Wildfire....... loaded onto phone OK.. did not load onto PC.. emailed developer and got NO RESPONSE.. in the end I discovered I needed JAVA enabled on PC.. pc is running Windows 7.... 64 byt. Dowloaded Java environment and finaly SMS2PC loaded onto PC...... still did not function.. Via WiFi there were many problems.....it conected for a fe seconds and the dissconnected!!!!! all the time... read the manual from SMS2PC and it explained I had to change the settings on my router!!! :(( phooo..... so tried it with USB cable.. STILL DID NOT FNCTION.. back to the manual.. it expalined I had to change the seeting on my mobile to developers mode aaaaarrrggg TOO MUCH TROUBLE.. still does not work.. DE-INSTALLED IT.. a money for the purchase went down the toilete!!!!!! now I am starting to learn about apps!!! If thew want you to pay before trying it... DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT.. it means they are not confident of their software working!!!!! and they hope that because of all the problems with trying to get back a small amout of money you in the end give up trying!!!! and do not believe the good reviews here.. mostly written by the developers or friends of developers!!!

Love it The best app of this type; texts appear to go straight to your computer and not through a third party site like others do, the interface is lovely, fast and simple instead of web-based. Unfortunately not updated since Feb so I doubt the author cares for it too much, hope it still works after android updates..

Excellent app You can easily text from your PC once this is set up properly. Phone and computer must be connected to the same wifi network.

Doesn't work and no Bluetooth Cannot find my OS X 10.7.4 over IP. Tried with static IP too and opened the ports mentioned by the manual. Didn't try USB cause that's an idiotic way of using an app like this. Bluetooth seems not supported, which is pretty bad.

Perfect app. For a long time, I had been looking for an app that would allow me to be on my laptop working on my stuff and not having me to check my phone everytime someone texts me(I text frequently all throughout the day). And after trying nonsense apps that run through the browser, and are glitchy and not very appealing to the eye, I ran into this app, gave it a shot, and have been using it for a long time, and definitely will be using it for as long as I own an android phone. Just perfect! Must have app for people who text frequently and use their computer simultaneously! 5 stars

Awesome app Tryed a heap of the desktop sms apps that all go thruough someone elses website. yes they worked but was a pain using them, then i found this app. Installed it on my phone and pc, and it worked stright away and flawlessly. no need to constantly have a web page open cos it runs in the background and pops up a window when a message is recieved. best app i have bought for my phone.

Truly excellent App This is truly one of the best apps I've ever seen for Android. It connects flawlessly (most of the time) to the desktop client and delivers incoming SMS to your desktop and allows you to reply through your computer to your phone. There are a few minor bugs here and there, but my experience with this in the past two months has been 95% positive. This is fortunate, because the author doesn't return emails, but nonetheless I highly recommend this excellent app.

Needs tabbed conversations The app is great and works very well, but it opens a separate window for ever text conversation. This app would be a 5 star app if it had one conversation window with tabs for each individual conversation. This would make the application less cluttered and much nicer to use.

Just what I was after After playing with EasySMS and RemoteSMS, I tried this and it's really great. Dead easy and does all the things I want it to do (alert,read,send) extremely easily and elegantly, without routing through a 3rd party website and compromising privacy. It could afford to have a few more advanced options (in particular, the ability to auto start only on USB connection, rather than autostarting on both USB and wifi, would be useful to me. Add Bluetooth connections, too, and it would be perfect) but this is a very well written little productivity app, and well worth a measly 50p! An easy 5 stars.

Great app, great developer Was using Texdro; this is MUCH better. Prettier and much easier to install, and actually works. Would like to have a tabbed interface for message threads, rather than a new window for each thread. Still, it's absolutely worth spending a few dollars on. Also, very importantly, the developer was super responsive with me to bug reports and solutions which is excellent. I can't recommend this enough.

Disappointing Can only read the texts on the PC when the phone is linked to the PC. Not what I wanted. And can't see an overview of all SMS messages. You have to choose a contact first, and then the messages to & from that contact are shown.

Slight problems After my HTC Thunderbolt updated to gingerbread, my SMS2PC hasn't been loading my address book correctly. It used to work fine. I've tried reinstalling both the app and the desktop client with no luck. I still get messages though.

Nearly useless I bought this app after seeing a friend successfully use it on his SGS II. A few weeks later I buy it for my SGS II and it doesn't work. Text my friend and it doesn't work for them either. I can successfully send texts from my computer but it will not forward messages to my computer from my phone. I want my money and 1 star back. EDIT Aso, the dev still hasn't replied to me 5 days after I've emailed him.

Unstable, but awesome Somewhat unstable at times and couldn't get it to work for a while. But restarting did the trick for now. I wonder what strange and unpredictable behaviour is coming up next, but when it works it is a great app. If you're by a computer much of the time anyway, texting is just so much better this way.

I agree with the sugggest additions it could do with some extra features with my phone (dell streak) it only shows a msg unread symbol for 1 msg after talking to multiple people via the PC and this clears instantly when opening my msging app Go sms... FANTASTIC APP
