Smart Volume Profile Manager is a locale aware AUTOMATIC profile manager that AUTOMATICALLY adjusts your phone’s Ringer Mode and All Volumes based on LOCATION+TIME.

For example, set your phone to adjust its Ringer Mode to Vibrate when you arrive at the office or classroom, and revert to Normal after leaving (need DEFAULT profiles to revert).

Smart Volume Profile Manager automatically activates your predefined phone profiles based on the triggering rules you set.

Profile Triggering rules:
- Name(s) (SSIDs) of the Wi-Fi network(s) found in range*
- Day(s) of the week
- Time span of the day

* If multiple profiles have EXACTLY SAME time settings (e.g. Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa, 0:00 AM - 11:59 PM) and SAME number of Wi-Fi network(s), the profile that has the strongest specified Wi-Fi signal(s) in range will be selected.

Profile Settings:
- Ringer mode [Normal/Vibrate/Silent]
- Ringer volume
- Notification volume
- System volume
- Alarm volume
- Media volume
- Voice call volume

To accommodate most practical use cases and save your battery life, Smart Volume Profile Manager does not use GPS to detect your location.

PRIORITIZED PROFILES

Profiles are prioritized based on triggering rules' specificity to provide an intuitive way for solving conflicts. When conditions meet two or more profiles' triggering rules, the one that has the highest priority will be selected.

A profile's priority is determined by:
- Number of Wi-Fi network(s) (more Wi-Fi => higher priority)
- Number of days of week (less days => higher priority)
- Time span of day (less time => higher priority)

DEFAULT PROFILES (TIME-BASED ONLY)

You can create TIME-BASED ONLY profiles to let Smart Volume Profile Manager to take care of your Ringer and Volumes settings anytime anywhere by not specifying Wi-Fi network(s).

When no other LOCATION+TIME BASED profiles (e.g. office, classroom, etc.) are detected, these TIME-BASED ONLY profiles function as DEFAULT ones to REVERT back settings.

Almost there I really liked it except it works be being connected to the Wifi instead of being in the area...at work sometimes my Wifi disconnects intermittently...it's still in the area, but its just not connected...so then my phone rings loud..

Absolutely brilliant Does exactly what it says on the tin. At first I was going to complain about the time selection format. (12:00 AM / PM). I never know which is midday and which is midnight. However, there is a setting for that accessible by the menu button. So there is literally nothing I can complain about :( It is very simple to setup, and it does not even have adverts.

I like it, but... ...profiles will only change when phone is awake. If you have an inactive screen at the time that a profile must change, it won't until the phone is made active. For example, my night profile ends at 7:59 a.m. and my day profile begins at 8:00 a.m.. If the phone rings after 8 a.m. but before I have used the phone, the night time settings will still be in place. In short, the app sleeps when the phone sleeps. This is a major flaw. It should run in the background while phone sleeps, like an alarm clock app.

Not for me... This is not a user controlled volume app. It is strictly time and environment controlled. I am looking for a volume app where I can toggle between profiles... This doesn't allow that.

Very nice Does exactly what it says it does. It would be really nice if in addition to wifi networks, I could create a profile based upon being paired with certain Bluetooth devices. All in all, this is excellent.

Does what it says If you are tired of hearing notices in the middle of the night, this is the app for you. I'm not sure that it updates the volume settings exactly when set, but it does keep my phone quiet through the night and has put the volume back up by the morning.

Great concept! Tried many other similar volume profile apps, all of them either can only do time-based profile scheduling, or have to use GPS or cell tower to get the location, kills the battery and not stable for me. This one uses WiFi network names to determine your location, which just works - unless you work in the forest or something, wifi signals just cover most of the places you will be. I use wifi at work and at home anyways so my phone's wifi is always on, no extra juice needed to do the work.

Finally someone made this kind of app! The WIFI SSID and TIME based volume profiles management concept is really neat and useful. I have setup a work profile so that whenever I’m in the range of my office WIFI the phone will automatically switch to vibrate, and another profile to silent the notifications at night while keeping the ringer volume at a lower level whenever I’m in the range of my home WIFI (if I'm not at home by the night time I must be out so phone volumes should be MAX).
