So I noticed there wasn't a free clapper app so I decided to make this. This is the beta version so if you have any troubles with it please email me.
TIMECODE IS JUST NORMAL TIME! That is why it's a beta/free app.

great start This is a great start to what will be an incredibly useful app. The ability to add letters into the shot fields would be useful, as would more control of the time. Also, I have noticed that the fonts do not translate well in landscape orientation. I am having the issue on both my Droid Bionic and my Transformer Infinity tablet. I can easily work around that at this point, and I am very happy with the discovery of this app. Please keep the development up! The small, independent movie scene can use all of the low cost/free tools possible.

app is nice app dude... %^$&^&^% timecode runs in fps, while shooting film the last frame of the second would be 23 then it increments 1 second and continues

Great start I've used this app to sync several shoots now. It works great. However, not being able to use letters for shot numbers is a real pain. I have to use sticky notes to write "scene 1A". Merge the scene and shot fields and make it a combo number + letter field, and you have a 5 star app.

No timecode, landscape mode is not readable, and the sound effect is not in sync with the visual clapper arm. That defeats the purpose entirely.

Good but needs... Needs to be able to type letters in the scene section. Some filmmakers use scene names like "28A". Other than that good. Maybe clap sound should be louder. or a volume control within the app. I shouldn't have to make my phone louder manually. Should have volume control.

Possible Virus Included I downloaded this to try and instantly received a positive virus alert from my Android Booster software. Uninstalled immediately. Also program lacks function for it to work correctly. Be aware!!

E. Davidson Definitely one of the best free android slate/film making apps our there, but would like to have control over the time code and a part for the name of the Cameraman, but over all a great free app. There are also no ads to cover up the screen which is great as I found that allot of other free slate apps had ads. I plan on using it for my short film I am shooting tomorrow. Thanks!
