[2013-08-31] A Google User: Outstanding I have used the "Buddy" app for long time but they are constantly having problems. So last time it went down I thought it was time to try others, When I tried Shiprack the first thing I found outstanding was when I email a tracking number to Shiprack also either picks up the name of the item or who is sending the package, With the "Buddy" app I had to always edit the emailed tracking numbers to add the names. Notifications are also much better |

The one thing that really bugs me, though, is the fact that it sends a notification email every time you forward a shipping email to Shiprack. I already get a notification on my phone when a package has been added to Shiprack, I don't ALSO need an email that I'm forced to delete. It should be available as an option to enable/disable email confirmations. |

[2013-07-25] A Google User: Beautiful EASE of use it works as it says, and you dont have to type long numbers to keep track of anything , nor do you have to know what carrier is carrying your package shiprack does it for you, the up to the second push notifications made me use this over all others plus the non invasive "just works" approach. the only thing you have to do is forward or send a plain email with your tracking number in it then it takes care of the rest. there are some other tracking apps, but they are all full of bells and whistles i dont really need. I lost a phone and when i got my new phone all previous shipment information was automagically there! without me having to worry of backups. if you like to keep track of your stuff give it a try. |

Very accurate on the movement of packages, and being able to customize the name of the item is a good feature to help with organization. The notifications are great as well. |

Otherwise cool app. |

Now I see the tracking notifications on my phone at the same time as I get the email. Super fast and Super useful! Much better than google now which is inconsistent at best. |

In this way, the packages are automatically entered into my shiprack account, and I receive updates regular and automatically about each shipment's progress. |

My gripe is wish the app would update to the Android standard Holo and action bar, update UI (because compared to other it is pretty sober looking), can also scan email in-conjunction with forwarding the email to find tracking numbers. |

[2013-03-01] A Google User: Really great package tracking app This is the first package tracking app I've tried and WOW does it work great!!! It makes my life so much easier now. No longer do I have to wonder where each shipment is in the process. It's all listed in my Shiprack app. When I get an email from Amazon with tracking info I just forward it to the tracking email address and it instantly shows up in the app. And it even shows the picture of the item I ordered in the app so it makes it easy to see what I ordered with each tracking number. So I just can't recommend this app enough. My only complaint is that there is no paid version of the app so I can support the developer. The ad isn't all that bothersome to me, but I would be happy to buy a "Pro" version of the app to support the developer. |

It's done everything I've needed it to do. One time an online retailer sent me a problematic tracking number, and I didn't realize it was faulty. I contacted the developers about why it wasn't being recognized by the app, and they responded immediately, pointing out the problem. |

You register an email address and can forward any confirmations from vendors to a fixed shiprack email address and voila! it's added to your list. Notifications on tracking updates, get me to the door before the UPS truck leaves my street. Uninstall the rest, this is the only shipping app you'll need. |

[2013-02-11] A Google User: Not very Intuitive Since the app only allows you to enter the tracking number, not the shipper...the information given is not always accurate. For instance a Fedex shipment given to USPS gets a number starting with 9. This app thinks its a USPSshipment which has much less information that what Fedex gives you. That number in the Fedex app gives the full tracking whereas USPS just gives 'in transit'. They should allow us specify WHICH carrier |

You need to confirm that you can access the account you are forwarding to (i.e. you need a confirmation code), which you're not able to do unless Shiprack sends the code back to you once they receive it... Also, it seems that there's a considerable lag in updating some of my shipments. [2012-12-20] A Google User: Fantastic, Efficient App I've been using Parcels by Timo Behrmann for a few years now, but after a quick look at Shiprack, I'm moving over. The ability to send to an e-mail box and have the shipment show up in the app is worth the price of the paid app, many times over. I'd been holding out for Google to get the Now package card working, but I've about given up on that. If I have one gripe, it's that the app is still stuck in the Gingerbread era. While it's probably not an issue for many, it's tough to look at apps designed under GB guidelines while Google has caused the design language to evolve so beautifully through ICS and JB. Functionally, this app passes the five-star criteria with no doubt- but I'm seeing a four-star overall until the UI is modernized. ... but I still bought the paid app. |

I ordered over 30 items this year and the stores shipped parts of the orders at different times. As I expected. Shiprack not only kept up with all of them. When I typed in 2 tracking numbers combined ( Keyboard Actuator Failure ) by accident. Just a few minutes later shiprack emailed me to ask me what carrier it was from. The tracking updates are also very nice. Adding packages is as easy as scanning a QR with the tracking number. Definitely recommended to everyone. |
