Searchify lets you perform translation, calculation, unit conversion, wikipedia search, calendar entry, calendar search and more just by typing into the quick search box or search widget.
Make sure you enable the app in your phone settings!

[2012-12-30] A Google User: broken with latest update It seems that the lastest google search update has broken searchify, now you have to press "search phone" before any keyword to make it work. Is the dev still around? any chance of an update? |

[2012-07-27] A Google User: Really handy... Works great but... Be sure to UNCHECK Google and CHECK Searchify in Search/Searchable items. If you don't, the search button will only invoke Google Search. Also: it DOES search calendar but... Calendar and some other options require a keyword (cal searchitem for calendar search). (Touch the icon and it will show you the required keywords.) |

[2012-05-05] A Google User: Can search the calendar FINALLY! Must use the keyword "cal" before the term you are searching for in your calendar, but works like a charm. Other integrated searches and conversions are great too. This should be built into Android as a standard feature. |
