Desktop app is poor I have a 64 bit system with 64 bit Java. The app still asks me.to have both even though I do. It says if I want to run the 64 bit... you're giving me no choice! What if I want to run the 32 bit?

Too much access Found another app that does same thing and works better. This app requires too many security risks. The other apo only needs network access...stop giving away private info look at what the app accesses to work

Unreliable, hasn't been updated since Sep 2010 The most common issue I've seen reported by others is the same issue I've been experiencing -- after a while it stops sending out notifications, even though it is still running as a service, until you re-open the app again. It's fun to play with but I'm not able to rely on it at all. :-(

Unstable, buggy and abandoned by the developer It crashes frequently, the OSX client doesn't work in current versions. There haven't been any updates for three years, so it's only going to get worse.

Service stops after a while After an undefined time, usually some minutes, the app stop sending notification to the desktop. Using wifi mode. Useless for a notifier to be unreliable, and not updating at all. And why I need to post this on G+, GOOGLE YOU STUPID???

Not consistent but I found a work around Only consistently works when I have the app options open and have the phone never sleep. I use Bluetooth on a DROID bionic.

Innovative, and relatively simple to use I like the app's design. They have given many different options for connectivity, encryption, etc, so that we can choose the method that works for us. Requests to developer: Please (if possible) add a feature to change the port as some ports are blocked in some universities.

Update again... intermittent notifications on sms so back to 3.... uninstalled 3rd party sms app and restored defaults of native msg app and now works great so updated to 5 stars :-) #Nice idea- but doesn't notify on SMS (GS2). as this is my main method of communicating other than IM I can't rightly give more than 3 stars as that was really the only reason I wanted it :-/

Works as Advertised It would be nice if it would work with the network notifications for Growl on Mac (the pre-Lion version) but I am okay without that. Being able to use an encryption phrase is a really nice feature too.

Just what I needed! The app is the best Desktop notifier for Android at the moment. My favorite feature is the auto-Wifi switching. I don't like to keep my WiFi on (I don't like battery drain). When a notification is to be sent, this app automatically switches on WiFi for a second, sends the notification to desktop, and switches off the WiFi immediately! Just AWESOME! I just love the automation! Wish more apps do like this instead of wanting a continuous WiFi connection.

I am 110% sure I have port 10600 forwarded in my DD-WRT based router, I am 110% sure I have the correct IP address (external), but it just simply DOES NOT WORK over Cell Network with IP Address. The only option that works is broadcast over Wifi.
