BRAND NEW VERSION 2!
* Multiple accounts support
* Supports Dropbox and FTP
* Instant upload option available
* Integrated filter for your files
* Highly improved interface
* Hundreds of improvements
Do you want to have all your documents and media files automatically synchronized with your Android phone?
TheRealSync for Dropbox & FTP can do that!
Free version is limited to 15 files per SyncJob. Buy the pro version to unleash its full potential!
This app now features four sync modes:
- two-way mode (download and upload in one job)
- download modified files from your Dropbox
- upload to your Dropbox
AND BRAND NEW FOR PRO USERS:
- download-and-forget mode! This mode is usefull if you want to view sensitive data on your device. On first run, it downloads a pre-selected folder. On second run, all those files are deleted locally and the job removes itself.
Just go and select both a local and a remote folder, set a schedule interval and you're done!
Now you're folders get automatically synchronized in background.
You can select more options like to only sync on WIFI.
Situations where TheRealSync might become handy:
- synchronize your music with your device
- automatically upload your just token camera pictures to your dropbox
- have your documents with you wherever you are

[2011-10-20] Gint: Instead of synchronization of one filtered file it synchronizes empty folders of the same level also. |

[2011-10-19] CS: Very disappointed Developer really needs to point out that Dropbox has a 300MB file size upload limit. Then when the app tries to upload a file that is too large, it just stops but continues to appear to be uploading. End up having to force close the app. Unfortunately the Dropbox limit defeats my intended use for the application. I do realize that the upload limit isn't the fault of the developer, but it would be nice to point that out especially with having a paid version of the app. |
[2011-10-17] Abhishek: Only 15 files!!! |
[2011-10-13] Tom: Trial, not useful Don't waste your time. This is just a super crippled trial version. |
[2011-09-28] Zedde: Simple I like this app. easy to setup. Would be cool if it could upload to other services like Sugersync, different kind of photo albums |
[2011-09-05] Heine: Man this program sucks. Constantly creates conflicted files and trashes data. Don't know why I was stupid enough to waste money on the paid version |
[2011-09-04] Richard: Doesn't work Tried to sync every dam folder in my dropbox account not the one folder I specified then it deleted my Home Movies from my video folder which I didn't even want syncing now there lost forever (WHY!). Use this app at your peril I've uninstalled and payed for Tasker Dropbox plugin instead. (IT WORKS) |
[2011-09-04] Huwbutts: BUY THIS APP! It gives you total control over what you sync with Dropbox - this raises the bar for android apps. Worth every penny. |
[2011-09-02] JM ツ: Limited Demo |
[2011-09-01] Sajid: Look forward to updates Great app just needs a little more work. Would like to see a schedule not just every x hours. Also big files hang and do not sync. |
[2011-08-25] buda: Ok |
[2011-08-18] Maff: Works perfectly with my 3d jps files on my optimus 3d |
[2011-08-09] Anselmo: A must have This app is a must have.Excelent job. |
[2011-07-28] Cassidy: Simply great app.... Epic4g |
[2011-07-24] esteban.didito@gmail.com: it does not work it does not sync anything. always say: "Conection Faulty" all the time. |
[2011-07-14] Niklas: Perfect for keeping gamesaves on both phone & pc :) Addition of a widget to run selected syncjobs manually would make it even better. |
[2011-07-14] Drakonas: This is creating tons of conflict duplicates, when the same file is on both ends and they haven't synced yet. I've flashed my phone, had to re-sync. |
[2011-07-12] Chris: Not ready for prime time. None of the modes work properly. |
[2011-07-12] Tommy: Changelog? Seems to be syncing every file rather than just new files in upload only mode. |
[2011-07-11] snx: ftp sync is useless.. finds files but won't sync them...poor |
[2011-07-10] Dave: Great app, excellent support! Just what you need to keep Dropbox and your local files on Android device in sync. There was a problem with it apparently syncing every few minutes and ignoring the set interval, but this was its behaviour if a job failed; and it's now been fixed. Excellent support and response from the developer. |
[2011-07-07] Alex: Works great! A must have app if you have multiple android devices. This is better to use than Titanium Media because it supports two way syncing. |
[2011-07-07] nvr2fast: Worked the first few times, now just getting force close. Installing sadly. |
[2011-06-24] ValeraVi: File is deleted on both sides during sync Good idea, but my files are deleted on both sides during sync, if they a changed on some side!!! |
[2011-06-19] Marco: ok Has ben a great tool. But sync a few weeks it is permanently crashing on Xoom/Honeycomb. |
[2011-06-16] the 6/16/2011 Deletes updated files!!! I just tried the syncing with some test files. I added annotations to a PDF file and then synced again (through "sync now"). What happened then is that the file simply disappeared from the Android System as well as from the Dropbox! Unacceptable. Glad I tried before I used that on real data. I am using Honeycomb on Acer Iconia A500. |
[2011-06-07] the 6/15/2011 Great, but SyncJob keeps starting every few minutes even though it's set to update every 24 hours. |
[2011-06-01] Jeffrey : It's a useful application, however it's not extremely simplified to suite people who aren't technologically savy. |
[2011-05-31] Alan: Awesome! Hurray! Finally a way to sync Dropbox with Android and be sure I've always got the latest version of any docs with me whenever I'm offline. I've tested the app a good bit, and it seems to work well and reliably, which is no easy feat for sync. Thank you, designoid! |
[2011-05-27] LucasAmericano: Awesome! |
