[2013-07-29] A Google User: Love it! But issues have come up.... |
[2013-07-24] A Google User: Works well but not perfect. Smooth flow and easy access to tools and their options. Highlighting is very awkward, though: an option for text-selection highlighting (instead of box highlighting) should definitely be provided. |
[2013-07-18] A Google User: Bookmark off by one? Nice app. Better than Adobe Acrobat Reader. There is just one thing though -- the bookmarks are off by one page. For example, clicking on a bookmark that goes to page 1, qpdf will go to page 2 instead. PLEASE fix it and I will update the review to 5 starts! |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Pls help I prepared a document on the app "Lecture Notes" and exported it as pdf and opened it in Qpdf pro app. I am not able to highlight texts, underline them etc. (But this works in the app ezpdf !!). I should say that the texts in pdf books i downloaded from the web can be highlighted etc using Qpdf. Why is this so ? Is there a problem when a document is exported as pdf ? I use Samsung Note 1. |
[2013-07-11] A Google User: Pdf and take pics too Awesooooome works great |
[2013-07-08] A Google User: Dedicated developers Despite its shortcomings, they are working to fix them. |
[2013-07-08] A Google User: Good, with minor issues This app works quite well, and seems to be more stable than the competition. However, I often loose my annotations if the app loses focus (such as if I open a Web browser or email client for a few minutes and Android kills the app), which is quite frustrating. If the app is updated so that it doesn't get shut down when it isn't in focus, or at least autosaves your annotations when this does occur, I would give it 5 stars. |
[2013-07-03] A Google User: Cant get a customer to sign form on site Firstly this is a great app it does almost everything i want to complete my on site inspections. However i need them signing of on a daily basis by a number of different clients. I cant seem to get a customer to sign the signature box on the pad ??? Help please my customers don't have the facility's to send me a digital signature it needs doing on the job. Please respond im desperate to get a work around on this or find out how to do it. |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: NICE APP THAT DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO Just wanted to take some time out and let you know how much I really do appreciate your product, and that it's rapidly becoming my favorite app on my tablet...The UI cld be a little updated, but that's a small thing...Lookn fwd to see what you guys have planned for the future of the app... |
[2013-06-23] A Google User: app great but not for me i purchased this app for punch list but when i attached image it's very small and not visible in report so its useless for me. |
[2013-06-21] A Google User: Best PDF viewer/editor for Android because: It's the only one that supports Adobe LiveCycle secured documents properly. Other PDF editors for Android let you type into fields on these documents, but don't save them correctly; you save the file then open it on another device, and the data you typed in is lost. These guys are on the ball. Buy qPDF. |
[2013-06-21] A Google User: Best one I've found so far I love this app. Bought several others and this one wins hands down for ease of use.I use it to mark notes for my novel. Let's me work on editing anywhere. |
[2013-06-19] A Google User: What I required to sign pdfs with a picture file Exactly what I wanted and needed. No website cloud service to join. No upselling. No limit on the number of pdfs I can modify. No sending my pdf to a service I do not know and then they forward it on. Everything is done on my phone and/or with Google drive and Gmail. I have to sign and return pdfs more and more. Doing it from anywhere on my phone can save hours and days. I refuse to sign with my touchscreen and have my signature look like I’m 3. I want to use a scan I keep in Google drive. This does that and more. I can recieve, save, attach my gif signature, and send in less time than printing, signing, and scanning. Thank you. |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Great Product one small issue I have been using this for ages to do reports for work. The problem I have is that if I add a second image and then flatten the document, the second image repositions itself. It would also be great if the images could be rotated. I used to use ezpdf Reader but for my purposes this product is far superior. Keep up the good work! |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Doesn't do what I bought it for! Allows me to input my username & password but still won't unlock my protected textbooks. |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Fast and reliable |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: Finally something good Top 5 purchase |
[2013-05-09] A Google User: Great app! But.. I wish it has an option to rotate the document! Will give 5 stars when that option is added. |
[2013-05-01] A Google User: Unstable I used it for a while to annotate PDF files, and quite enjoyed it. However, it is rather unstable (at least on my ASUS TF300) and does not save the annotations automatically, so I lost my work a few times... Appart from that, it is a good app, and the developers have been quite responsive regarding my problem (apparently, it is fixed for Android 4.2.2, and an autosave feature is planned for the future). Keep up the good work... :) |
[2013-04-27] A Google User: Great price, and it works!!! I love when an app performs as described! I was in a jam, away from home, needing to fill out and sign a U.S. Customs form, and return it A.S.A.P. Didn't have enough time to research, either. So I paid the app fee, ( - $3) and I had that PDF form filled out and returned right away! Motorola Droid Razor M |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: Fantastic full featured app Really good app, worth paying. Updates keep rolling in, adding value to app. |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: Greatttt this is what I looking for |
[2013-04-20] A Google User: Excellent PDF reader Very feature rich, fast rendering, stable product |
[2013-04-20] A Google User: Business user This is one of my most used apps. Love it! |
[2013-04-19] A Google User: Great apps Recomended.... great features and easy to use |
[2013-04-19] A Google User: Best PDF viewer and editor This is the best app I've used so far to work with PDF files on Android. |
[2013-04-18] A Google User: Listens to custoners and feedback Great! |
[2013-04-18] A Google User: Great support Recomend this software.. I get great support and fast response in customer service.. |
[2013-04-12] A Google User: Great customer service I have the paid version of the app and it does not freeze my Asus Transformer TF201 like the Adobe app does, but on rare occasions it simply will not display pages with a PDF. When it works it is great, and has some additional features that Adobe doesn't. |
[2013-03-31] A Google User: It works Very satisfied. It allows you to fill forms, sign the document, and save it too. Finally one that does what you need. Thank you. |
[2013-03-29] A Google User: quick and easy like the features. simple, easy, quick and useful. |
[2013-03-15] A Google User: Thanks for nothing When it opens files from a google drive it cannot save any changes (annotations, notes etc) made to them. The file is temporarely downloaded into an permission-protected directory. My device is rooted and I would give qPDF permissions but it doesn't even ask for them. So, I cannot save any annotations I make on my pdf library I keep in my google drive. Well at least it gives the ability to send the file to a google drive, right? So I'll just overwrite the un-annotated copy. Guess what, it doesn't provide the file name of the file I opened it as. No way I'm typing an 8 author paper name that I can't even see in the save prompt. So I'll just save it as another file called 1 or something... I do so and a few minutes later I see, no file has been uploaded to the drive. All my notes and a day of work are lost. Needless to say I cannot even get a refund. The enormous contract you have to accept in order to attempt to use this tool relieves the devs of any responsibility for this. Spend your money somewhere else. |
[2013-03-14] A Google User: Smooth, but highlight annotation must be improved. Selecting highlight text using a box is not as handy as with magnifying cursors , this must be improved. Even Adobe's free reader does this better :( |
[2013-03-03] A Google User: Super Great app! Rivals iAnnotate. |
[2013-02-22] A Google User: Basic Forms but No Android Javacript Actions I,ve create Acrobat forms and with basic toggle buttons, elapsed time timesheets,... very basic javascript code... with no results... Maybe Surface Pad may handle this better? EXAMPLE ============== if(event.target.borderStyle == border.b) { // Perform Push Down Actions event.target.borderStyle = border.i; event.target.buttonSetCaption("ON"); // Darken Down Colors event.target.textColor = ["RGB", 0.8, 0.8, 0.4]; event.target.fillColor = ["RGB", 0, 0, 0.7]; // Turn Calculations Off this.calculate = false; } else { // Perform Pop Up Actions event.target.borderStyle = border.b; event.target.buttonSetCaption("OFF"); // Restore Up Colors event.target.textColor = ["RGB", 1, 1, 2/3]; event.target.fillColor = ["RGB", 0, 0, 1]; // Turn Calculations On this.calculate = true; this.calculateNow(); } ================== |
[2013-02-21] A Google User: great app from great people i use this app everyday for work. only thing that i would add is a night mode. |
[2013-02-19] A Google User: Great for using existing digital sig file This was the first app I found that allowed me to use an existing .pfx digital signature file. The image for the digital signature can use a regular image file instead of requiring that it be in a pdf file. I made the background of my sig in a .png file transparent using gimp on a PC and used that. Now I can fill out pdf forms and conventionally digitally sign them. |
[2013-02-18] A Google User: Great app I am a Med student and I found this app extremely useful for annotations and quick revisions on my Lenovo TPT. It navigates seamlessly through reasonably large PDF e books, and that is what made me think that it was a worthy purchase. Kudos to the developers. Looking forward to the regular updates. Keep them coming. |
[2013-02-13] A Google User: Best PDF note taking app! I have used several different PDF readers/note taking apps.. All all which are very buggy and slow. I emailed the company about a couple desired features and within an hour they responded appreciating my input and are currently working on the upgrade (such as tabbed PDFs). |
[2013-02-11] A Google User: Best than all the rest Overpriced (with respect to other app in category) but (from my point of view) better than ezPDF: usage is more convenient |
[2013-02-10] A Google User: Very good Very good pdf viewer for people who relies on tablets to take notes on documents. It is better than the other pdf viewers for almost everything...... The only improvement I can think of is the text highlight that could accept other types of selection instead of just square box areas.... ie select lines of text. |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: Does the job nicely Great for pdf annotation. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Needs auto spell This is an amazing app. I use it for work and never have to take work home. However, theirs NO SPELL CHECK, or at least auto spell check. Even if i try to open in adobe in order to spell check it wont allow me to make appropriate modifications.....PLEASE ADD SPELL CHECK!!! |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Beat app ever No more printing. This saves me hours of time & money! |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: Stable, good UI, great features. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Fill forms on my tablet! Even Adobe's app doesn't do pdf form fill! This is exactly what I was looking for! I can save as a different name so that I keep the original. Perfect! |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Stay away from this app if you have a tablet Does not work on a Toshiba Excite 10 tablet. You can work with the document and it says it saves but when you call the file back up nothing is there |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: Amazing App This is one amazing apps. I can fill out and save applications whish isn't available in adobe systems. This makes my work highly professional and smart. Thank you guys for making this amazing apps. I keep up the god job. |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: Beats most viewers. Has a couple features that others dont have like form filling. Better viewing for non tablets. The devs actually reply back and care about their customers. Get this while the price is discounted otherwise it is extremely expensive compared to its competitors but there is reason for it. Looking forward to promised feature from dev with support for calculation fields. |
[2012-12-13] A Google User: Fixed: Bought App but still asks me to pay again. I used the demo and liked it, but after I paid full price it still says I need to buy it. Cleared data and it still says I need to buy it. I click to buy again and it's already installed. Restarted device and it worked great! Probably should've tried to force quit before but, hey, it works now! |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Wont work Wont install wth |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Great until the update. This app was amazing. Then the update keeps saying that I need to purchase the full version to access the features. It also has a watermark on all the documents I try to open. |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: It says I haven't bought this app but I did and it still showing the wash back bout to sue |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: Great app, missing night mode... Nice app, free version was great so bought this version to support the devs. Really want a night mode like FBReader and Ivan Ivenko's PDF Reader have. Also, reflow could be better, books with code examples go all wonky with reflow on. Finally, what's there no bookmarks in ref low? Could be done via text-selection bookmark? Beautiful work, keep it up! |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Pretty good app One of the best apps I've ever purchased! I wish it had a smoother hand writing feature. When I sign a contract, it just doesn't look good....needs a little work there. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Very useful for PDF Forms & Documents Great app that works exactly as I wanted, its an Android "must have" for anybody who uses or creates PDF files. |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Never print again! This is great, now when I get PDF forms emailed to me, I don't have to get the printer from the shed, wrestle with paper jams, print out a barely readable form in pale purple because the ink cartridge has dried up, fill it in, scan it, email it back, now I can do it all from my tablet. Big hurray when technology works! |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Great product, better customer service Great product with even better customer service. Karen got back to me quickly, even when it was user error, not a problem with the app. I have made it my default app for viewing and editing pdf files. |
[2012-11-15] A Google User: Great until Jelly Bean update on tf201 prime One of the most used apps i have. Fantastic for noting and marking up pdf's. Would like to have a rotate function for the pdf and for the markings added to page. Would also be great to have it auto recognize shapes and other functions such as an arrow or a square or circle when working free hand. Now the bad. It has become very unstable with my update to jelly bean. It is constantly locking up and forcing close. This loses all the work you have done since the last time the document was saved. Hopefully get an update to fix. Update the most recent updates fixed the force close issue I was having. Couple new things that need fixed: Share/email function uses general PDF 1 as subject line instead of the forms file name. When adding notes the last letter is always cut in half and the first letter is sometimes cut in half if you do not put a space at the front and back of the text. Also if you double space it will add a period at the end of the last typed note no matter what. The new menu features and layout are not as intuitive as they used to be. If these things are fixed it is a 5 star app. Matt |
[2012-11-09] A Google User: Fantastic!!! This is the best product for reading, filling forms and annotating. All the features are done well and with ease. Very happy. I have tried others which are also have made improvements but this is still the most user friendly. Love the new look and the ability to add image annotations. Well worth paying for. |
[2012-11-05] A Google User: Awesome annotation This app is much better than Adobe for annotations, and the story is great! If I have a problem I can send an email and get a response within an hour. |
[2012-11-02] A Google User: Fantastic pdf editor Works great, lots of updates too. |
[2012-11-01] A Google User: Excellent! Since I purchased I never saw or heard anything else other than commitment to excellence. Thanks! |
[2012-10-31] A Google User: Great but Very smooth reading and pdf note taking on my note 10.1 however i noticed that the rendering quality of pdf documents are lower compared to other readers. Plz provide and option to control the rendering quality. |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: Good but needs improvement Will not wrap text in fields. No provision to use screen as a signature pad. |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: Works Great The best app I've found so far for editing PDF 's. |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: fast, but a couple of quirks Once a text box is saved and re-opened, you can't use arrow buttons to navigate through text, it takes you through menus instead. Does not always save the location in a document oce you close it or if you open it through the android file manager. When you switch to different apps, sometimes closes your document. |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: Convenient Great for marking up journal articles and workshop papers. |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: Quite disappointed - too expensive for quality I tried Qoppa's PDFStudio for scientific reviews. Despite its flaws I was kind of happy with it. After (finally) being able to buy a decent tablet with a true stylus, I was looking for a similar product for Android. Naturally I looked for Qoppas's app. However, after my first paper review using qPDF Notes I decided to take the time and write some sort of review for all the other scientists out there who are in need of a decent pdf annotation product for so many years. Good: - Basic features for annotations ("pencil", marker, text, ...) Bad: App feels like Beta version; rushed to the market! Do they test their software before a release? - Pencil not usable for handwritten notes (automatic vectorization; same flaw in PDFStudio 6) - NO PALM REJECTION !!!!!!! HORRIBLE !!!! - No pressure sensitivity - Text does not automatically break in textboxes when resizing (PDFStudio 6 does it) - No scrolling in textbox input window -> barely usable for longer notes - TOO EXPENSIVE FOR QUALITY, free Adobe pdfReader does the job better Items reviewers miss: - Real freehand pencil feature - Call-out boxes - Stamps Summary: - I'm still faster with PDFStudio + Wacom Tablet - Acceptable for free |
[2012-10-01] A Google User: Love this app |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: It takes some getting used to |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: My preferred PDF note taker Of the PDF annotator programs I have tried for taking notes in class, this has been the best. It is still a little rough around the edges, but it is improving fast, and the developer is extremely responsive to suggestions. I have been using it for PDF notes for half year now. Still needs a stroke eraser, and perhaps the ability to shield the screen from touch commands. Maybe also the ability to copy paste. Load time is much improved from first versions. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad. |
[2012-09-15] A Google User: updates made it worse!! I really hate to give this app a bad review, because before they did the latest update, it worked so well for me. With the newest update, I get null pointer exceptions pop up on a lot of my pdf pages, replacing images and texts in its place. I know that the pdf's aren't dodgy, because they are lecture notes provided by my university (and they were readable on qpdf before the updates). I can't do any work on my qpdf anymore! It's such a shame because it worked so well before the updates, and I had no issues reading pdfs. I contacted the company about this 2 months ago and they said they'd get onto fixing this... but still no response. |
[2012-09-14] A Google User: Great App This app works perfect with my Galaxy Note 10.1 much better than Ezy Pdf |
[2012-09-04] A Google User: The signature of a monster Sorry, but I have to give this a thumbs down. The ability to sign with freehand pencil option is there, but I would liken the use of it to imitating a 2 year old's first use of a crayon - or the footprint of a Sasquatch! The handles to then move it (because even in zoom it's not where you want it) are unresponsive, and unpredictable. I'm bailing on the paid version after 24 hours as test. Sorry - I wanted to like it, as one of the earliest to go public in Android. |
[2012-08-31] A Google User: Some nice features, but not worth the money! GOOD: Make a marker sticky is helpful, double tap fits document to screen, additional marker for other then text, make bookmarks (internal use only), go to page and end/begining of document. AWFULL: Speed of opening documents and build up pics, takes ages after text marking will be applied (Android ask very often to quit or waite). Asks allway on saving - one time would be enough! Repligo Reader is faster, cheaper and more handy, except is has no bookmarks! |
[2012-08-30] A Google User: Missing key function CANNOT ROTATE PDFs!!! Im three hours in trying to figure out a simple way to do this (reader wont save rotated). Completely useless to me 1/3 of the time. |
[2012-08-22] A Google User: PDF writer Great app |
[2012-08-06] A Google User: blank pages to print... when i create a pdf and go to print the page is blank. very annoying... how do i get a refund?? |
[2012-08-02] A Google User: Best app out there Easy to use , have it installed on all my android devices. Looking forward to field addition for my forms. A+++ |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: Great app. MUCH better than iAnnotate. Of the PDF-editing apps supported by Box' OneCloud system, this is certainly the best. Even beyond that, this is the best PDF-editing app available in the entire Google Play store. My one wish would be to improve text highlighting. Currently, you have to draw boxes around the text you want. Not a huge deal until you want to highlight text across multiple lines... then you have to draw multiple boxes. (Unless I'm mistaken.) Anyway, GREAT app. Kudos to the developers. |
[2012-07-26] A Google User: Great app! Lots of nice features and the developers are extremely responsive to feedback. I spend a lot of time reading and annotating PDFs, the app is worth every single penny. |
[2012-07-11] A Google User: Great for filling in pdf I used this to fill out An online application, worked great as it looked nice and neat, only thing I will mark down a point is it don't auto detect boxes and lines, so it has room for improvement, still worth the money |
[2012-07-11] A Google User: Great Exactly what I was looking for. |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Excellent Customer Support - Karen Was having some trouble initially leading to a lot of dissonance. But the Customer Support (Karen) patiently helped me resolve the issue. |
[2012-06-25] A Google User: So awesome As a realtor I use this app a lot. |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: Great Software! A great package for viewing, or for making notes and annotations on pdf documents. The latest upgrade pulls in the document bookmarks--great for working with large documents--and allows the user to add custom bookmarks of their own. The package provides several forms of graphic annotation--circles, squares, underline, strikeouts, as well as fixed and free form highlighting. Multiple forms of text commenting can be added. Provides for digital signature, and one can use the free form line feature to do a manual signature. After the document is "fixed" the annotations are set and cannot be changed. Good stuff! The help feature is compact--maybe a bit sparse, but the package is relatively intuitive, and the learning curve is pretty good. |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: Simply the best of the pack! I have spent months searching for a Jack of all trades pdf reader/annotator. I've tried ALL the apps on Android market. Where some pdf annotators excel at one task, Qpdf excels at all tasks. The sticky tool function was what made this app special in the previous versions, and now the added seamless bookmark function rounds it off nicely. I use Qpdf to read and annotate large pdf's and the app handles them with ease. As an added bonus the highlighter function has been expanded - now you can choose between two highlighter tools, each with unique applications. The new highlight tool can be used to manually highlight text that is not recognised as text by other pdf readers. Very useful for scanned docs etc. I have finally found the best pdf annotator and will not look elsewhere in future. |
[2012-06-01] A Google User: great application! Great app. !! allows me to use notes on pdf at the university. Finally I don't have to print anything!! |
[2012-05-12] A Google User: Testing Reports My company is using form fill reports for inspection and testing in the field. I use my Motorola Xoom and this app to not only fill out the form, but also sign the form with the pencil. It works great, thanks. |
[2012-05-11] A Google User: Love it Just what I was looking for :-) easy to use. |

[2012-04-28] A Google User: Fantastic on a tablet I use it with a thinkpad tablet (stylus, woot!), and this software is fantastic for annotating documents. Their customer service is great as well! |

[2012-04-27] A Google User: Great for Field Techs We just put tablets in the hands of our 10 HVAC field service techs. This app is the most user friendly one out there for beginning a work order at our office, emailing it to our techs, having them complete the work order, present it to the customer, and having them sign it on the tablet. They then email the completed work order back to us. There really are no apps out there that allow you to enter text in some areas and then put a signature in another area, except for this one! |

[2012-04-19] A Google User: Awesome! It does exactly what it says! You can easily fill out PDF files and add notes. To all negative feedbacks, PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE DOWNLOADING. THIS APP WORKS PERFECTLY FINE AND HAS NICE EDITING FUTURES. Worths every penny! Best mobile PDF editor. Thanks :-D |

[2012-04-16] A Google User: Excellent Product I have tried several different apps, simple to use, great layout we have a number of staff using this product with different devices, all with no issues. The one time I had an issue their support staff got back to me within 24 hours and solved my issue |

[2012-04-12] A Google User: excellent I looked and looked, tried multiple apps, then tried qpdf trial version. For the 9.99, i highly recommend just buying it. NO problems and works great for the work documents i need to fill. YOUR .PDF NEEDS TO BE A DYNAMIC FORM to fill in. You CANNOT fill in if it is NOT. |

[2012-04-09] A Google User: Great App Best app on market for filling in forms, excellent response from developer on questions. |
[2012-03-25] A Google User: Free apps better than this Don't buy this. It highlights more than 1 line, has no library functionality, has no page reference capabilities and cannot scroll & leave highlighting on. Nor can you lookup or quickly reference your highlights. As a study tool, absolute failure. There is no summary of your selected material. The basic free readers offer more than this, such as mobireader, kindle. |

[2012-03-01] A Google User: Excellent! I use this daily for studying and it is great! It is intuitive and easy to use. It offers features that others don't. Most useful app I have purchased! |

[2012-02-22] A Google User: At last. One that works. OK. Studying - going paper free, need to write on those lecture notes. Need to scribble on them and underline stuff -add comments and save for later. All works a treat on my Galaxy Tab. Also, great support. Very fast reply and the problem (my bad) was resolved. I don't mind paying for something that works. Spent as much on the other four cheaper, unworkable, apps that I had to uninstall. Great Product. |
