[2012-02-20] JP: Great support Useful and simple to use with great support from the author! |
[2012-02-16] edgarv: Nice. Keep going! As someone mentioned, it would be nice to have a category field--and other types of pre-formatted fields. But good start! |
[2012-02-11] Kable: Great. Best android outliner available! and getting better with each beta release. |
[2012-01-19] jon: Good start This is a good start, hoping for better UI and ability to easily select categories. |
[2012-01-12] John: very nice I was looking for a replacement for ShadowPlan on my old Palm PDA and this comes pretty close. It's still in development and more features will be coming. I like the ability to change the hierarchy bt dragging an item sideways. The developer is very responsive. |
[2012-01-11] Shiyin: Excellent for brainstorming. Simple, viable alternative to more sophisticated mind mapping apps--more efficient use of screen space for text. |
[2011-12-28] Customer: Ok - Input method could be faster if it allowed single click to add a line. Indenting is great, but up /down could be better. Does not autocorrect typing! |
[2011-12-24] Chriswaterguy: Quite basic, and a tree structure looks like more work to maintain than tagging. Maybe it's personal taste, but I'm sticking with Catch. |
[2011-12-04] ML: Love it, but... Where can I get the Pro (syncing) version? Does anyone know? 5 stars if Pro were available. |
[2011-11-24] Dave: Good. Still needs polishing. Great potential. Does what it says. Simple. To the point. Not overly complicated. Due date needs DUE TIME. |
[2011-11-20] Rod Jordan: Exactly what I was looking for A clean simple interlace. Excellent outline views. I have looked at many day to day planning tools and this one suits my organisation needs perfectly. |
[2011-11-14] RSM: Fantastic App. Snappy, easy to work with. Does what it says. By far the best Outliner out there. Worth getting the pro version. Milestone on 2.2 |
[2011-11-10] Peter: Just what I was looking for! Perfect! |
[2011-10-26] Andy: Need PRO to synch with Bonsai! Me too, I need the PRO version, to synch with Bonsai, and thus to also give me a desktop/keyboard-based option to enter my items. But there is no link on the developer's site, or anywhere else I have looked -- HELP!! No synch means no desktop option means I won't use it ... |
[2011-10-05] avsprasad: Excellent - but how to go PRO? I downloaded this app - and it's easily the best outliner/to-do notes maker I've seen. Would love to go PRO, but no info available either within the app, or on blogsite...? |
[2011-09-23] Oz: Clunky UI |
[2011-09-10] Richard B: Excellent Am a long time Bonsai user on desktop and palm. Outliner Pro (beta) synced perfectly first time via usb. Just what I wanted. _@@ |
[2011-09-08] Carson: Great Outline Aop Really good app and continues to improve |
[2011-09-07] sswayne: This app has a lot of potential. Once the UI is refined, I'd be willing to pay for it. |
[2011-08-28] suman: Perfect! A solid text outliner that works on Android. Syncs perfectly with my desktop Natara Bonsai outliner. Needs search function. |
[2011-08-14] Bird: A Godsend We recently went on vacation. I have Bonsai packing list outline that is probably over 10 years old,. I successfully imported that outline Godsend in that I was able to walk around the house with my Android, gathering items we needed to take with us on vacation last week....checking them off as I went through the house. Whether you're just starting out with outlines, or a previous user of Bonsai, I highly recommend you try this out. |
[2011-08-12] walter: Best list manager available I have tried several todo/list managers. This app is by far the best. I contacted the author on two separate occasions and he replied immediately. |
[2011-08-10] mdsandy: Very promising! Simple, yet powerful! I'm using it right now to monitor our organization's hierarchy. Can you please provide a sub-level counter for each level? |
[2011-08-08] yurkennis: closest substitute to, syncs with Natara Bonsai The closest substitute on Android I've ever met to Natara Bonsai (the ultimate outliner for PalmOS and Windows Mobile) -- at least if you aren't willing to migrate from Bonsai app in desktop. Syncs fast via USB, supports and filters by Due Date, expands/collapses to any given level. Preserves Start Date and Category from your desktop files during sync even before they are fully supported in Outliner. Very responsive and listening developer. |
[2011-08-05] Barry: Easily the best ouline notes application I have come across. |
[2011-08-04] Daniel: Dan This is a great outline program that lets me have many sub levels(not like some e.g. List Master with Only 1 sub level). Made great grocery list. |
[2011-08-04] Mark Renier: Great interface but not interoperable Interface is way better that Vault 3. I can use one hand to type and edit my outline. Only problem is that there is no Windows desktop equivalent for me to synch with. I would really rather use Outliner but desktop interop is required. Won't uninstall while waiting for updates, but I need to use Vault 3 to synch w/ windows desktop. Please keep updating, as I would rather use this interface. Thanks! |
[2011-07-30] arehrlich: This is one outstanding outline. Thanks! |
[2011-06-24] David: Not bad, but try List Master Pro This is simple and not bad, but not great either. There aren't many outline or list apps with sub-items, but I found List Master Pro to be easier to use and better looking. I have come to rely on List Master for nested lists (with tags/categories; details; easy to hide details and sub-notes; manual or alpha ordering; priorities; sort by various factors; items can be on multiple lists; etc.). I also tried Mobisle Notes and Idea Tree, which are just ok. |
[2011-06-20] Mark: May not have all the features of other outliner/list apps but it allows for multiple levels (which few pay apps do) and it's free? 5 stars!!! |
[2011-06-06] Alexander: Good version of "to do list" |
[2011-06-01] dayguess: great app - future? great little app, works like a charm. any chance on adding listpro to the import function? |
[2011-05-05] pfbranco: Great app. Recomended. Long bonsai user |
[2011-04-24] Greg: The only reason it's on my phone is hoping for Bonsai sync. Has a long way to go to be as clean as Bonsai on Palm or WinMobile |
[2011-04-18] greatKids: This is great, try also the new iRT GTasks Outliner. |
[2011-04-10] Richard: Best outliner app for Android |
[2011-04-10] Tommy: Almost the only outliner app for android |
[2011-04-05] --: Best outliner found for Android so far. Can we get basic text-wrapping for activities? |
[2011-04-01] JD: 5 stars for potential 5 stars for potential. I'm know I'm not alone in really needing an outliner app on Android. But I'm waiting for Outliner to provide better support for long notes (e.g., adjustable font size, larger window). Bonsai sync is very useful (I have 15mb of Bonsai outlines I want to use on Android) but I'd also really like to see basic rich text formatting of notes. Hope Outliner's future development isn't limited by Bonsai's feature set. |
[2011-03-22] Joe A: Have there been NO comments since 3/8/11? |
[2011-03-22] Larry: Great app. I use Bonsai all the time. These work great together. Where can I get the Pro Version? |
[2011-03-08] Jef: Great tool! Perfect for anyone with routine tasks. Great for making shopping lists too, even make sub lists to separate shopping needs by store. |
[2011-03-02] Richard: Finally I have found my Bonsai replacement! Beta version syncs with my Bonsai outlines! Excellent program. Responsive developer! |
[2011-02-21] M: My Bonsai data on Android! Great consistent development. A good app that has the makings of something great. This will become my primary to-do application once Bonsai syncing matures. Get on board and help with testing. Outliners rule! |
[2011-02-19] Elvin: Thank you!!! The app that I've been looking for since i started using android phone. 5 stars for you. |
[2011-02-18] contactreed: Perfect if add search pls. Great job dev, impressive! G1 |
[2011-02-14] Richard: The only real outliner I've found for Android. Great at creating, expanding and collapsing multiple levels. Just wish I could move things easier. |
[2011-02-14] Rich: The only real outliner I've found for Android. Great at creating, expanding and collapsing multiple levels. Just wish I could move things easier. |
[2011-02-13] dean: Excellent on Galaxy Tab. Even better if it had search option. |
[2011-02-12] Dana: Exactly what I've been looking for in an outliner for the droid. It will be perfect when it syncs to the pc which they say is a future enhancement |
[2011-02-10] Harold: this app transformed my tablet from a fancy toy into a tool. |
[2011-01-23] dimmy: Add color will be better, bonsai alike, but the UI...... waiting update^^ |
[2011-01-23] Kable: Big advance with ability to expand/contract individual items. Still best android outliner available! |
[2011-01-17] machmandp: Very good app needs some work like ability to choose diff colors but good overall |
[2011-01-13] Lone: Finally an outliner on android. Keep improving... you are making me happy |
[2011-01-05] Charles: Due dates doesn't seem to work. When I add a new note the due dates of all other notes get decremented by one so in effect the due dates keeps moving |
[2011-01-04] Wes: Very nice app |
[2011-01-03] RAYMOND: Very useful tool |
[2011-01-03] Karen: Good start. Needs colour labels for different outlines / projects/ tasks |
[2010-12-27] charles: Simple, Give it 5+ if able to sort |
[2010-12-23] KOI: Nice! Use it every day. |
[2010-12-23] koi: Nice! Use it every day. |
[2010-12-22] John: Maybe this will eventually be useful, but right now there are too many obstacles between you and getting your list made. |
[2010-12-17] John: Great basic outliner. Clean, intuitive, functional. Keeps getting better! |
[2010-12-17] Roger: Great job! |
[2010-12-12] Gareth: Try Doogle |
[2010-12-06] the 12/8/2010 This app has a lot of potential. Once the UI is refined, I'd be willing to pay for it. |
[2010-12-05] the 12/8/2010 Excellent start. Been waiting for a serious outliner for Android for years and this is it. Looking forward to the pro version. |

[2010-12-04] KenH: Fantastic app. I cannot wait for the pro version so I can sync with Bonsai. |
[2010-12-04] Harry: Wonderful start. Still needs more development but I'm happy to see someone is finally working on an outliner. |
[2010-12-01] E. S.: Where have you been all my life?! Love this app. Wish there was a widget |
[2010-12-01] Kris: FINALLY! Android has needed an outliner for far too long and this really appears to be on track to include all the functionality needed. THANK YOU! |
