On Air allows you to easily transfer files over your Wi-Fi connection by accessing it as if were a drive, from within your Finder.

Third beta: currently Mac is supported through AppleTalk,
Windows and Linux are supported through WebDAV or FTP.

IPv6, really? This is a much needed tool, Although it would be a lot more helpful if it gave you the address in IPv4. Or have Bonjour (feature request for a pro version).. In the end, I couldn't get it to work on an unrooted Nexus 4. After pressing the power button it would turn on visually and give me the totally useless IPv6 address "afp://airon@gibberish.that.goes.off.the.screen - but I was unable to connect to it in the Finder. When pressing the power button again the app does not respond. Safe to assume that the process behind the GUI has crashed. Great idea. Shame about the execution. If this worked and had Bonjour announcing it I would definitely pay cashmoney for it.

Trash AFP doesn't work with Lion, WebDAV doesn't do anything but lists the folder content like a text file (with FF). FTP works but that's it. There are much more sophisticated file sharing solutions eg. AirDroid. Thanks for the developer, he doesn't charge for this, at least.

Totally Useless on ICS or higher!!!! IPv6 address created on ICS or higher, so full address is cutoff on screen. App hasn't been updated in 2.5 years. Installed FTP Server instead - all needed options are configurable.

Unusable Doesn't work on my rooted VZW Galaxy Nexus running a nearly stock ROM. It displays an IPv6 address that doesn't fit on the screen. I checked preferences and didn't find a way to change this. Uninstalled.

Lightweight, and well done It does what it promises, and it's simple, straightforward, lightweight.

Works once you figure it out 3 stars for lack of good documentation and an unclear interface. Other than that it's great. For those confused about the operation of this app: select your OS first, then click the big power button; enter the ap, http, or ftp address into the relevant program on your computer; onair is the username and the unlabeled four digit number at the bottom that looks like a hit counter is the password. I'd suggest installing FileZilla on your computer and always running OnAir in FTP mode - less headaches that way.

Useful Mac Snow Leopard, Nook color-CM7 on SD Works as advertised. Copy 200 MB crashes 3-4 times. The last time causes Mac finder to freeze, forcing hard reboot. File sizes shown with On Air in Finder are inflated; my 16 GB chip shows 289GB unused, small text file are 4.3Gb.

Works on rooted HTC Evo Works as advertised with Max OSX Snow Leopard. Only issues: I had to install a separate app to keep the Evo from going to sleep (No Screen Off). And file sizes are not being reported properly in the Finder.

WebDAV didn't work. FTP did work fine but honestly SwiFTP is better if you want an FTP server. Tried on N1 with Win Vista + FileZilla.

Ok after trying and failing I remembered there are 2 types of ways for FTP: Passive and ACTIVE I use filezilla and remembered seeing these 2 types, by default it's passive in Filezilla all I had to do was change to ACTIVE in the settings and now 100% working Give that a try before saying it doesn't work...and please people do a little work and try to do things on your own...The effects of Windows......lazy people who want everything to work without even knowing why or how it does what it does. Great app!!

Works on Xoom if you fix address I found how to run on Xoom. The UI will give you an AFP link aftp://onair@XXX::macaddress:port and a password (4-digit number). From your MAC, connect to aftp://onair:4digitpass@xoom_ip:port Works ok with small glitches (wrong file sizes, problems with some filenames). Nice to have a wirelessly mounted Xoom.

Works well! I had no problem setting up this app to work with my Wi-Fi network! It's very simple, but yet has some of the most crucial features other apps are missing. You are able to change username and password with this app! :) That is crucial in my mind! Awesome app!
