Notes For Exchange (v. 1.7) Разработано Hundera |
Notes For Exchange is application to synchronize notes between Android and MS Exchange. This application will NOT store your Notes to some third-party server. It uses standard exchange synchronization of Appointments.
How it works?
“Notes for Exchange” has two parts:
* Outlook Add-in (Can be downloaded at application website //sites.google.com/site/notesforexchange/), will synchronize your notes with calendar appointments. It creates items at end of February 2036, so it will not collide with your standard events. Using standard Exchange synchronization, these are synchronized with your android phone.
* This android application, will displays these special “Appointment” as Notes. Also allows you to edit and delete them.
During testing and usage of this application, no data were lost. But backup of Notes and Appointment is strongly recommended.
This software is provided "as-is," without any express or implied warranty. In no event shall the author be held liable for any damages arising from the use of this software.

[2012-08-19] the 8/22/2012 Finally a solution!! After months of searching(could have been shorter if I read the instructions for this app) there's an App that actually works!! Thanks team for putting this one together. |
[2012-08-18] Scott: Just what I wanted Exactly as advertised. Works great on Samsung Galaxy S3 with native email. Well worth the investment. |
[2012-08-17] Julian: Pretty good... for being unfinished. I like the ingenuity with which the dev works around a fundamental Android flaw, installed on my work machine and all was well, installed it on my home system and got DUPLICATES DUPLICATES DUPLICATES DUPLICATES DUPLICATES... Not impressed by that. |
[2012-08-10] KC: Elegant little app I just transitioned over from a BlackBerry and couldn't believe when I couldn't find my Outlook notes on my new android phone. This app is easy to install, worked perfectly on my Outlook 2010 running on Windows7 64bit. Notes are back, woohoo!! |
[2012-08-07] Terry: Outlook 2010 64x The Outlook add in will not enable in Outlook 2010 64x |
[2012-07-22] Flat top: Awesome app Finally, android is beating blackberry. I can get to my notes from outlook on my razor maxx. This is a brilliant way to go about doing it, too. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough. |
[2012-07-21] Stephen: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I was skeptical and concerned. This app ROCKS. Only app I have ever reviewed. I just moved to Android from BB and this was the missing link. |
[2012-07-13] Jen: OMG!!! I just found this FINALLY!!! After searching, then giving up for a long while! I love using my MS Outlook Notes, but NOTHING would sync them. We just started using MS Exchange at work and this app ROCKS!!!! Thank you!!! |
[2012-07-11] Andrew: finally been looking everywhere to sync notes with outlook! if it doesn't look like it is working at first you have to open not only outlook but also the calendar on your on your phone (so it syncs with exchange) |
[2012-06-21] Philip: 64-Bit Windows and Outlook Installation Problem But . . . If you're using 64-bit Windows and 64-bit Outlook, the automatic installer for the desktop doesn't work. Follow the instructions for manual installation on the Forum, EXCEPT, where it specifies the directory as "Framework", use "Framework64". Everything else is the same. Manual installation with this change worked. |
[2012-06-13] Tony: Get it, works perfectly. These app is definitely the missing link. Does what its supposed to do, short, sweet and to the point. Kudos to the developer, you created an elegant solution to an otherwise annoying functionality gap. |
[2012-06-12] Littlehoilei: Great idea from great developer This app maintains maximum privacy which server based approach cannot achieve. |
[2012-06-10] Prem: took a while to work it out Great App. Have spent hours downloading numerous apps to see if can sync notes from Outlook to Android. Took a while to figure out what to do with this App.Works great.Very simple Apps. Does the trick. |
[2012-06-03] Abgr: WTM!!! - which is what the magic !!! first i go through all the reviews here, then i decide to give it a try after searching a lot for an app that do what it said here, then i read about some problem installing the client on oulook 2010, so i decide to download the client first v 0.7, restart outlook, and it sound like loaded then i install the app on my Sony Xperia Mini Pro, I Open it and before i recognize the home screen, WTM all my notes in the home screen, i don't even know when it did the sync? ok i am overwhelmed, now i will wait to see if it work fine for more process and updates or not regards, P.S. could you change the quality of the icon to look contrasted with the other icons on the phone? |
[2012-06-01] Moe: Works simply It was easy, just install on phone and client on PC select calander and my notes showed up... |
[2012-05-24] John: Great app for the former blackberry user! This is exactly what I was liking for! Once you get used to using your outlook notes and having them sync with your blackberry it is not an option to go back. My only critique is that you make this ap easier to find, it dosent come up on the app store when I searched. |
[2012-05-24] Phil: EXCELLENT!!! Don't know why this doesn't exist by default, but the developer has filled in a much-needed gap. |
[2012-05-15] RayYung: Excellent work I know it has to be good when I see a xda link. Didn't disappointe me and actually better then I can imagine!! |
[2012-05-15] Sharon: Super I had to install the Outlook 2010 add-in following the manual instructions on xda-developers because the .exe installer fails. |
[2012-04-23] Jeff: At last!! I've been waiting years to sync my Outlook notes ever since was forced to move away from Palm os. Love my galaxy S2 and this app solves one of the few niggles. Simple and effective, works both ways. Agree with others, I would happily pay extra for better groups and filters to help organise my hundreds of notes. Thank you Hundera |
[2012-04-20] Kevin: Did not work initially Using Outlook 2007 & hosted 2007 Exchange with Samsung Infuse. Installed both droid app and outlook client and waited, and waited, and waited, nothing...then rebooted phone twice and magically the notes sync'd |
[2012-04-12] Sumitha: One of a kind!!! This is the only app out there to sync with your MS outlook notes I was a blackberry user and that used to automatically sync note I had everything at my finger tips - even things I used to save from my computer... This app saved my life by giving me a way to access my notes from my new android phone |
[2012-03-23] technightmare: Love it. This is the best app |
[2012-03-06] Ravi Varma: Works as needed This is a simple app, doing what it is meant for and works for me on Outlook 2010 without any problems... |
[2012-03-06] John: Worked like a champ I am using Outlook 2007. I installed the app, went to the developer's website and downloaded the add-in, installed it and in a short bit watched all my notes show up. Finally an app to sync my Outlook Notes. Thanks! |
[2012-03-06] Jean-Louis: Simply awesome! This is a perfect example of mindset thinking outside of the box... |
[2012-03-03] Fred: Works with Outlook 2007, not 2010 I used this for a year with MS Outlook 2007, but since upgrading to Outlook 2010 the add-in will not load. |
[2012-03-03] Gladston: Paxo Did not work with HTC Desire HD |
[2012-02-23] Skul: Elegant solution! This tiny app provides an elegant solution for syncing Outlook notes to your handheld. Perfect! Just don't miss that you also need to download the NotesforExchange addin for your desktop Outlook. |
[2012-01-21] LCBXX: Does the Job Perhaps not as straightforward to get to work but the process to add the plug-in in Outlook is painless. Synchronisation works well. Waited a long time for this app. |
[2012-01-02] Stebe: Best workaround available for exchange and Android This is the best app to work around the limitations of older exchange servers and the syncing of outlook notes. Still a little rough around the edges but getting better with every new version. |
[2011-12-29] Jonathan: Fantastic Finally a great solution! Thanks for this. |
[2011-12-08] Sean: Awesome! Works like a charm! gotta install both pieces - the app on your phone, and the small piece on the computer using Outlook, I'm on a corporate Exchange server. The notes sync when you open your calendar app, so it's a little slow... but it pops the note from Outlook to the app, and back, into the Notes folders on Outlook. Finally. |
[2011-12-06] MikeK: Good. I've been waiting for this! Now I have all my Notes from Outlook on my DROID. With hosted Exchange, it syncs only TO my DROID, but not other way. |
[2011-12-03] benendow: Works! Simple to use and does the job. Not fancy, but doesn't have to be. |
[2011-11-08] Carole: Streak 5 Excellent, does exactly as advertised; and solves my exchange notes problems. |
[2011-09-26] Nicos S.: Works as promised. No hidden costs for the moment. |
[2011-08-28] Scott: Great app! Excellent. Works as described. Now I can work with my notes in outlook and on my android phone. |
[2011-08-18] sen: Does the job Not the most elegant solution but it works a treat. Seems to sync changes pretty quickly too. (In both directions). Excellent alternative if you don't have a 2010 version of exchange server. |
[2011-08-15] Gary777: Very good! Finally an easy to use synch between notes and android. |
[2011-08-09] Eduardo: Very helpfull application Very good alternative for missing notes sync. I would though add the possibility to sort (Date or Subject), when you have 200+ notes it is difficult to track your notes. Also, search and auto sync would be also helpful. I would pay for the application with those features. |
