Jeremy's addition of export/import (uses 3rd-party app) solved my main problem. No way to password-protect info - I use AKNotepad for sensitive notes.

I recently moved all my notes into Note Classic Free, then bought the paid version to support the dev - my notes aren't there! Uninstalling for now
