MobileNoter SE is an application that allows you to store, view and edit MS OneNote notebooks on your Android OS device.
The main difference between MobileNoter and MobileNoter SE is that MobileNoter SE works with .one files directly and doesn't require a Windows Sync Client. That gives you more possibilities to sync your notes with PC in an easy way.
MobileNoter SE also has an integrated Dropbox, SkyDrive and MS Sharepoint sync functionality. Using it, you are able to sync your notes in one touch and you can do it anywhere and at any moment.

Slow to perform and it doesn't sync all my notes. Besides, the fact that Microsoft came out with their own Android app for OneNote makes this app pointless. Disappointed in this app. I wasn't able to sync my Windows Live account at all, only Dropbox so this app fails on that count. Also, I tried editing a note with the new "ability" to edit notes and the app froze. I had to bring up the task manager to kill the app so MobileNoter SE fails on this count as well. All I can really do with is is sync and read my notes that I type from home. To be honest, Microsoft should have developed an app by now. This one is a good effort but doesn't make the grade.

Good Intentions and Design, But Buggy and NO ONENOTE 2012 Compatibility! Can't believe they've released another update and *still* no OneNote 2012 / Web App compatibility fix. Dreadful! Previous review: New lines (white space) disappear after editing when I reopen a note, MobileNoter edits don't appear automatically in OneNote after SkyDrive sync and opening some notes causes the app to force close. I've reported all these issues to Support and still no resolution after five months. Bad :-(

This is despite the fact that it used to work, and stopped after they made changes to the program!

Not ready for market This app has GREAT potential! I like the way it renders pages and opens embedded documents. However, it has some terrible glitches and the sync is slow and unreliable. Am at the point where I'm going to shelve it and wait for a series of updates to make it useable or until OneNote beats 'em to it and adds Search to their Android version.

SharePoint connect not working. Support team not working either! Update; after several weeks still no response from supportteam. Bunch of jokers pretending to play in enterprise space when they can't even deal with basic authentication issues. Original review: Bought this 5 day's ago specifically for Sharepoint sync. App won't connect to SharePoint saying server rejected due to invalid user and password combination. Complete nonsense. Username pwd and url are correct and work with all other access methods even from same device. No response from support after 5 days.

Disappointing By the time I got it setup with my dropbox and tried it out the refund period was over. It does not like dropbox password and tells you it failed when it in fact did not! Not all notes were synchronized. Those that did, did not include my handwritten notes and creating a new ink note is a process and inking is very slow. Would click the refund button if I could as it has been installed for less than 3 hours!

Whew Syncing seems to work again after a factory reset (installed a new rom). However incremental sync doesn't work, it downloads the entire files again which is a bit of a waste. Other than that no complaints. One feature I would like sometime is the ability to add attachments such as pdfs to notes from within the app.

Basically a good program which the developer constantly works on, adding new features. Need ability to add new pages to password protected sections when that section is open. Cut and paste could be simplified, not exactly an easy task on a touch screen device. Program performance has improved greatly in last year and glad developer is continuing with improvements. Tried Evernote but it could not make subpages in subnotes nor is it identical to a school notebook, as Is Onenote.

Almost there... I gave 4 stars to the previous version, and with incremental sync working, it would be worth 5 stars to me! Given that there are only 2 Android apps that can work with OneNote, I prefer this to the Microsoft one for *reading* and reviewing notes. I am very excited about the incremental sync... however it still isn't working, even with the last patch. It fails with the message "unexpected error during data loading" while syncing. Please fix ASAP. Disabled it (reverted back to full sync, which works fine.)

glad I wasted my money on this garbage save your money! this app totally sucks! I use OneNote for college and completely out of the blue this morning it deleted a notebook for one of my classes, an entire semester accumulation of work. Fortunately it wasn't deleted from the cloud. I'm using the Microsoft app and no problems. the only feature this app has that Microsoft doesn't is the ability to search. But if it's randomly deleting files and notebooks, it's worthless! Thanks for the added stress right before finals! MAJOR FAIL!!!

Poor App There are many wonderful things about onenote: ease of taking notes, ease of organizing, and overall simplicity. The only thing this app has, that onenote has, is the ability to sync to the cloud. Editing is difficult, making lists or outlines is impossible, new pages cannot be created, and it costs around $8! Overall, a bad app and not worth a penny. I don't understand what people find to be so attractive about this app...

Super frustrating - inconsistent sync Even after emailing with support and splitting all my notebooks up so they're small enough that Mobile Noter claims to be able to work with them (100MB - not documented anywhere), sync is still intermittent at best with Sky Drive. Since multiple computers all sync fine in Windows, it's pretty clear that all the negative feedback is justified. The product is inadequate and i wasted my money.

Eh.... It has a great look to it but is still missing function. I wish you had the option of putting checklist in there not just bullets. There are free apps similar to this that allow that. Would have rather had that than change font color although that is a fun feature. Buggy, slow and overpriced The only good side of this app is lack of alternatives. If you use onenote, your choice is limited to this alfa-quality app. Half of the time it just doesn't start because of buggy copy protection. if you're lucky, it starts and viewing experience is pretty decent. Don't try to edit your notes, though. You've been warned.

What a pity ! I can't recommend this programme to anyone. It's just not ready for use as a serious productivity application. There are too many problems and too much missing functionality. Syncing is slow and clunky and doesn't always work. Text doesn't reflow when zoomed so it's not much use for reading large documents............the list of small dissappointments goes on and on. It's a nice concept but badly implemented. There are just too many issues to make it a serious, useful app. Very dissappointing and very expensive for something that doesn't work well. I'm sorry I bought it...........

Not good. I wanted this program to work so badly! The frustrating part, is that is sometimes does work. Spun my wheels for a long time on this. It appears not all formating options are supported, stray just a little, and prepare for force closes and sync errors, sometimes with particular sections only. Want so badly for it to work For me and my tablet, skydrive won't sync without errors, and I am unable to connect to dropbox. I was only able to successfully sync notebooks by transferring the files via a USB. Frequently, the application doesn't allow me to open it, saying that I need to purchase it first. When I AM able to open it, now that my notebooks are on there, it looks great and all my file printouts and overlayed handwriting show up perfectly. I wanted to give it one star but decided to give it 2 because of when it does work

Does not even meet minimal usefulness I purchased this app thinking I could load up my onenote notes onto my Xoom tablet to study off of. The application can open Onenote notebooks, but it does not load any of my handwritten notes (using a tablet pc) or typed notes overlayed onto pictures. I would have done better in exporting my notebooks as PDFs and used a PDF reader.

Excellent I use this for study, never for data entry. I mean, really, if I'm going to take notes in class, I'm going to use my netbook, not my phone. I can't speak to the new data entry features, which I don't use. But the viewer works exactly as advertised and syncs flawlessly. Five stars.

big dissapointment.... Reviewed the free version 1st and I liked the fact that I could edit my notes from the tablet itself. However i did not want to deal with their cloud services & it was missing the function to add new pages and/or notebooks. I found that this version could sync directly with SkyDrive, which was a plus for me. Thinking that the paid version would be way better, I bought it. To my surprise, the free version is actually way better...you cannot even edit notes on this one!...In all honesty not worth the $$$

Surely the free version should allow viewing only, and then charge people for a version that allows editing! Missed the refund by 2 minutes by the time I discovered this. No Longer Syncs First of all, this app never promised to wirte to OneNote...just read. It may come later but as advertised, it does not allow for editing. But, it has quit syncing well with SkyDrive. It will no longer sync a notebook you already sync. You have to remove it. Add another one. Sync. Remove it. Add the original one back and it works. But if you want an updated notebook, you have to do that again. The app designer said "we are working on it."
