MobileNoter SE (v. 4.3) Разработано Businessware Technologies Inc |
Please note: Microsoft has changed the format of OneNote notebooks created or changed via MS Office Web Apps. Now the notebooks format is MS Office 2013. MobileNoter SE and MobileNoter SE HD don’t support this format yet. This can cause sync issues with SkyDrive. You can still convert your notebooks to MS Office 2010 format. Please visit our blog at http://www.mobilenoter.com/Blog.
Use MobileNoter to take your notes from OneNote with you!
MobileNoter SE is an application that allows you to store, view and edit MS OneNote notebooks on your Android OS device.
The main difference between MobileNoter and MobileNoter SE is that MobileNoter SE works with .one files directly and doesn't require a Windows Sync Client. That gives you more possibilities to sync your notes with PC in an easy way.
MobileNoter SE also has an integrated Dropbox, SkyDrive and MS Sharepoint sync functionality. Using it, you are able to sync your notes in one touch and you can do it anywhere and at any moment.
This is the fastest and most convenient way to synchronize your Android device with Microsoft OneNote.
MobileNoter SE 4.2 allows you to:
• View your notes with preserved formatting and layout (just like in OneNote!)
• Edit and create new text in pages
• Create new sections with a predefined set of empty pages
• Add new pages to an existing section
• Add images (you can choose an image stored on your device or take a new picture using camera)
• View or create handwritings (inks)
• Create audio recordings
• Create video recordings
• Search through the notes
• Look through the tags summary
• Work with .one files directly (for example, store them on the SD card)
• Password Protected sections support
• Sync the app easily using integrated Dropbox sync functionality
• Sync the app with SkyDrive storage
• Sync the app with MS Sharepoint
Please note:
∙ Please backup your OneNote files prior to changing them on your device. We're almost sure you won't need a backup, but if something goes wrong you will be able to restore your data.
∙ MobileNoter SE is designed for MS OneNote 2010, there can be some problems with notebooks created with previous versions of MS OneNote.

[2012-12-22] A Google User: finally got it right it now synchronizes great and is very easy work with |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Get it right Very poor indeed. |
[2012-12-13] A Google User: It is getting decent but sync is still way too slow. |
[2012-11-28] A Google User: Slow to perform and it doesn't sync all my notes. Besides, the fact that Microsoft came out with their own Android app for OneNote makes this app pointless. Disappointed in this app. I wasn't able to sync my Windows Live account at all, only Dropbox so this app fails on that count. Also, I tried editing a note with the new "ability" to edit notes and the app froze. I had to bring up the task manager to kill the app so MobileNoter SE fails on this count as well. All I can really do with is is sync and read my notes that I type from home. To be honest, Microsoft should have developed an app by now. This one is a good effort but doesn't make the grade. |
[2012-11-23] A Google User: Better than the MS app by far. But no 2013 support? Need that. Hope it will not be long. Shading issues and others. Hope that gets fixed. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: SkyDrive synch SkyDrive synch doesn't work. When it does I will give a better rate |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Good Intentions and Design, But Buggy and NO ONENOTE 2012 Compatibility! Can't believe they've released another update and *still* no OneNote 2012 / Web App compatibility fix. Dreadful! Previous review: New lines (white space) disappear after editing when I reopen a note, MobileNoter edits don't appear automatically in OneNote after SkyDrive sync and opening some notes causes the app to force close. I've reported all these issues to Support and still no resolution after five months. Bad :-( |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Very good app. Worth buying |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: Mobil noted se Uninstaled. Does not work. |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: No longer works with Skydrive, no refund offered! Not been able to synchronise with Skydrive for months - took ages for response from support, claim error log shows problem with my wifi. This is despite trying on multiple wifi networks and also wasting my 3G allowance! Was initially told I would get a refund, now told it is unavailable. This is despite the fact that it used to work, and stopped after they made changes to the program! |
[2012-10-25] A Google User: Not ready for market This app has GREAT potential! I like the way it renders pages and opens embedded documents. However, it has some terrible glitches and the sync is slow and unreliable. Am at the point where I'm going to shelve it and wait for a series of updates to make it useable or until OneNote beats 'em to it and adds Search to their Android version. |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: SharePoint connect not working. Support team not working either! Update; after several weeks still no response from supportteam. Bunch of jokers pretending to play in enterprise space when they can't even deal with basic authentication issues. Original review: Bought this 5 day's ago specifically for Sharepoint sync. App won't connect to SharePoint saying server rejected due to invalid user and password combination. Complete nonsense. Username pwd and url are correct and work with all other access methods even from same device. No response from support after 5 days. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Disappointing By the time I got it setup with my dropbox and tried it out the refund period was over. It does not like dropbox password and tells you it failed when it in fact did not! Not all notes were synchronized. Those that did, did not include my handwritten notes and creating a new ink note is a process and inking is very slow. Would click the refund button if I could as it has been installed for less than 3 hours! |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Whew Syncing seems to work again after a factory reset (installed a new rom). However incremental sync doesn't work, it downloads the entire files again which is a bit of a waste. Other than that no complaints. One feature I would like sometime is the ability to add attachments such as pdfs to notes from within the app. |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: OneNote viewing has slow performance Pages written in ink with images on tablet display more or less correctly.. some ink is moved a little. This app is a little slow. Once performance improves some I'll give this four or five stars. |
[2012-10-05] A Google User: Not there yet Did not sync. |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: Uninstalled Synchronization is to slow for practical use. Does not search in ink notes, often shows ink notes garbled. Not convenient to edit notes - compared to Evernote/Skitch combo. Just not ready for the prime time yet. |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Basically a good program which the developer constantly works on, adding new features. Need ability to add new pages to password protected sections when that section is open. Cut and paste could be simplified, not exactly an easy task on a touch screen device. Program performance has improved greatly in last year and glad developer is continuing with improvements. Tried Evernote but it could not make subpages in subnotes nor is it identical to a school notebook, as Is Onenote. |
[2012-09-04] A Google User: Microsoft has OneNote for phone Wasn't worth $14.99 I paid and still not wort $7.99 since Microsoft finally created a OneNote program for the phone. But getting better and actually do not have format errors as I do with the Microsoft version. I use both. |
[2012-08-28] A Google User: Almost there... I gave 4 stars to the previous version, and with incremental sync working, it would be worth 5 stars to me! Given that there are only 2 Android apps that can work with OneNote, I prefer this to the Microsoft one for *reading* and reviewing notes. I am very excited about the incremental sync... however it still isn't working, even with the last patch. It fails with the message "unexpected error during data loading" while syncing. Please fix ASAP. Disabled it (reverted back to full sync, which works fine.) |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: Good. Better than MS's app. |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: More improve (d) & (ment) Better than it was, and better than detractors claim. But needs work: gas to be used with OneNote app. Both have abilities the other requires. |
[2012-08-09] A Google User: Worst. App. Ever Shoddy design. Says sync authentication error with sky drive, even though the password is correct and I can brose the files in my sky drive it just doest sink. Also no option to refund this over priced POS. SCAM! |
[2012-07-25] A Google User: Don't use it... Not worth the $ Good idea in theory. Had high hopes, but in the end to much trouble for the effort. |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Please fix the inking notes issue. Just cannot use this expensive app in Galaxy Note due to terrible inking. Any thing that is written is garbled and very slow. Misses most of the strokes. Will change rating once this is fixed. |
[2012-07-07] A Google User: Love it! Use this on my Thrill and the tablet version on my Thrive. Never had an issue. IMHO, better than MS OneNote for Android. I sync with Dropbox and it works perfectly. |
[2012-06-29] A Google User: Problem with handwriting I do my notes exclusively in handwriting (ink notes) but it's all garbled and mixed together, though it shows properly on the OneNote PC client; unusable for me. |
[2012-06-12] A Google User: OK but hope it improves soon It's great to be able to view drawings/ink etc. However it doesn't sync edits with any reliability on my skydrive account and has a tendency to crash on modestly sized notes with lots of inking. Would be great if these were fixed along with ability to create new notes. (Galaxy S2) |
[2012-06-03] A Google User: Was hopeful, but worse than native free MS Does not create notes, would not sync completely with my skydrive account. It would crash on complex notes, the native app does much better. Goodbye 8 dollars, uninstalling. |
[2012-05-31] A Google User: Good, hopefully will get better Better than the MS app, but still a lot of functionality missing from the editor like creating notes, numbered lists and check boxes, undo in drawing mode, resizing and rotating pictures. Syncing to drop box works a lot better than livedrive or the standard cloud sync for me. |
[2012-05-28] A Google User: THE BEST!!!!!! For me is the best note soft For Android. Onenote sync!!!!!!! |
[2012-05-23] A Google User: Doesn't do what it says Crappy app. Uninstalled. |
[2012-05-05] A Google User: No S-Pen support I wish papyrus and onenote would combine! |
[2012-04-23] A Google User: glad I wasted my money on this garbage save your money! this app totally sucks! I use OneNote for college and completely out of the blue this morning it deleted a notebook for one of my classes, an entire semester accumulation of work. Fortunately it wasn't deleted from the cloud. I'm using the Microsoft app and no problems. the only feature this app has that Microsoft doesn't is the ability to search. But if it's randomly deleting files and notebooks, it's worthless! Thanks for the added stress right before finals! MAJOR FAIL!!! |
[2012-04-12] A Google User: Poor App There are many wonderful things about onenote: ease of taking notes, ease of organizing, and overall simplicity. The only thing this app has, that onenote has, is the ability to sync to the cloud. Editing is difficult, making lists or outlines is impossible, new pages cannot be created, and it costs around $8! Overall, a bad app and not worth a penny. I don't understand what people find to be so attractive about this app... |
[2012-04-10] A Google User: For me, still better than Microsoft's app Full functionality in all aspects, worked fine for me at all times. Mentioning that I use my own sync solutions. |
[2012-04-08] A Google User: Great app for OneNote Great tech support plus this app has key features missing from the MS OneNote app, search and pinch which are essential to OneNote on mobile devices. |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: Super frustrating - inconsistent sync Even after emailing with support and splitting all my notebooks up so they're small enough that Mobile Noter claims to be able to work with them (100MB - not documented anywhere), sync is still intermittent at best with Sky Drive. Since multiple computers all sync fine in Windows, it's pretty clear that all the negative feedback is justified. The product is inadequate and i wasted my money. |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: 2007 compatability Wondering if an update can be made to work with Outlook 2007 like it currently does with 2010 |
[2012-03-31] A Google User: Waste of money Will not sync and no tech support options. |
[2012-03-29] A Google User: Does the job, but. Notes are absolutely unreadable on a phone's screen sans endless horizontal scrolling. Needs a "reflow text" option. Vastly inferior to the official app. |
[2012-03-20] A Google User: Get onenote mobile Can not create new notes |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: Can't believe I paid for this Crap I went through so much trouble with this app and it still never worked. Not worth a dime. Thanks to Microsoft for making their own app |
[2012-03-08] A Google User: Ok Must use OneNote2010. Some notebooks dont sync but certainly a better product at this time then OneNote Mobile since it can read handwritten notes, somewhat. |
[2012-02-29] A Google User: Too little, Too late! You guys may have gouged me for $15 and I've had nothing but problems, but now that Microsoft has their own app your screwed. I think developers should make money and I buy ton's of apps, but for $15 I expect an awesome app. Yours is slow and buggy. I expect to have one paid version work on tablet and phone. Now your charging 7.99! How generous, not! Seriously, this is a $3 app and I mean all versions combined, none of this "HD tablet edition" garbage. You guys are too greedy and now your going to get wiped out by a company that is better and even more greedy. I have no love for Microsoft but in this case I'm glad they're here. At least when I get gouged by them I get a good product in return. |
[2012-02-22] A Google User: Eh.... It has a great look to it but is still missing function. I wish you had the option of putting checklist in there not just bullets. There are free apps similar to this that allow that. Would have rather had that than change font color although that is a fun feature. Once you add more editing features I think you would have a good product....until then it's just not worth the price. |
[2012-02-17] A Google User: Pretty good Works almost perfect with dropbox sync. But expensive! |
[2012-02-11] A Google User: Great App! I use this with drop box and have almost no problems at all. Sometimes if my.one files get too big there are synching issues but all in all I'm very pleased |
[2012-02-10] A Google User: Update broke Skydrive sync Can not connect to skydrive after update. Tried clearing all data, uninstalling, and re-installing without any luck. Not good... |
[2012-02-09] A Google User: Buggy, slow and overpriced The only good side of this app is lack of alternatives. If you use onenote, your choice is limited to this alfa-quality app. Half of the time it just doesn't start because of buggy copy protection. if you're lucky, it starts and viewing experience is pretty decent. Don't try to edit your notes, though. You've been warned. |
[2012-02-05] A Google User: Suck it up. First. If youre using onenote across multiple devices you should be using 2010. Period. Second. While this is a work in progress It's still miles above the alternatives and they keep adding features. Try giving constructive feedback maybe and save the complaints for Microsoft's mobile division. FYI. Works perfect on my thunderbolt. |
[2012-02-01] A Google User: Warning! When this app states there may be compatibility issues with onenote 2007 what it means is that it doesn't work at all. Only get this stop if you have 2010! |
[2012-01-30] A Google User: Not recommended - Edited notes broken in OneNote - Tablet version in an extra paid app - Very slow sync - UI is ok but not great |
[2012-01-27] A Google User: What a pity ! I can't recommend this programme to anyone. It's just not ready for use as a serious productivity application. There are too many problems and too much missing functionality. Syncing is slow and clunky and doesn't always work. Text doesn't reflow when zoomed so it's not much use for reading large documents............the list of small dissappointments goes on and on. It's a nice concept but badly implemented. There are just too many issues to make it a serious, useful app. Very dissappointing and very expensive for something that doesn't work well. I'm sorry I bought it........... |
[2012-01-20] A Google User: Too slowly synchronizes password protected notes |
[2012-01-16] A Google User: Not good. I wanted this program to work so badly! The frustrating part, is that is sometimes does work. Spun my wheels for a long time on this. It appears not all formating options are supported, stray just a little, and prepare for force closes and sync errors, sometimes with particular sections only. Just tired of having to keep my computer notebook on a limited format so that it will sync here. |
[2012-01-14] A Google User: It is not possible to open password protected onenote 2010 .one files. After sync from sd card,it look like that don't exist. If u fix this,I'll buy it |
[2012-01-13] A Google User: Terrible Support I asked for help in September 2011 and they got back to me in January 2012. Terrible support and the Product does not work. |
[2012-01-13] A Google User: Tried the free trial (none SE) and liked it. Paid nearly £10 to find no handwriting in this version. Disgraceful!! No support response! WASTED MONEY |
[2012-01-07] A Google User: Not sure why all negative reviews. App worked great for me. Synced all my onenote notebooks from Dropbox perfectly. 5 stars if a little quicker. |
[2012-01-06] A Google User: Ripoff Do not buy-it can't read onenote files from skydrive or even from files on the sd card. I paid $15 for this junk. When you ask for help on their website, all you get is an email thanking you for your "comment". This software should be removed from the market. If you don't remove it, then you become part of the swindle! |
[2011-12-29] A Google User: Want so badly for it to work For me and my tablet, skydrive won't sync without errors, and I am unable to connect to dropbox. I was only able to successfully sync notebooks by transferring the files via a USB. Frequently, the application doesn't allow me to open it, saying that I need to purchase it first. When I AM able to open it, now that my notebooks are on there, it looks great and all my file printouts and overlayed handwriting show up perfectly. I wanted to give it one star but decided to give it 2 because of when it does work |
[2011-12-27] A Google User: Money hungry Multiple versions of MobileNoter exist with different featuresets for no reason other than greed. They charge $15 for phone version and another 15 for tablet. Software runs slow and gets infrequent updates. |
[2011-12-22] A Google User: Can't make new notes This needs to be stated clearly. |
[2011-12-21] A Google User: This is working perfectly!! This is working perfectly!! |
[2011-12-17] A Google User: Very basic I use one note so this app is the closest i've found to it. The sync is nice. Needs ability to cut & paste & create new notes. Only good for viewing. |
[2011-12-14] A Google User: Ink unreadable Please fix it. Cannot read any pages of onenote file. |
[2011-12-12] A Google User: Read-only for password protected notes Do not have ability to edit and add password protected notes. Does not auto lock password protected notes after exiting the app |
[2011-11-28] A Google User: Unusable Editing is Basically unusable. Expensive. |
[2011-11-02] A Google User: Incomplete support Only partial sync from dropbox. Only skydrive works as it should. Also it won't show drawings and certain characters in OneNote documents. |
[2011-10-04] A Google User: Work in progress Finally, editing is available and files are actually synced, not just downloaded wholesale. Much, much more useful now, and as a result, im no longer sorry that i paid for it. Looking forward to editing improvements and a proper honeycomb interface. |
[2011-09-30] A Google User: Just installed but so far do good, connected to skydrive and selected what to sync, its done it, shows all our notes with pictures, haven't tried edit |
[2011-09-22] A Google User: Honeycomb Interface?? PLEASE A great answer for syncing Onenote to the Tablet BUT this interface is a Phone interface - PLEASE make a UI sutiable for the Android Honeycomb tablets (sweet looking like the iPad - i.e. Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Asus Transformer, Toshiba, etc.... There are soooo many Android Tabs now that a Tab app is a must! |
[2011-09-22] A Google User: Does not even meet minimal usefulness I purchased this app thinking I could load up my onenote notes onto my Xoom tablet to study off of. The application can open Onenote notebooks, but it does not load any of my handwritten notes (using a tablet pc) or typed notes overlayed onto pictures. I would have done better in exporting my notebooks as PDFs and used a PDF reader. |
[2011-09-09] A Google User: Absolutely useless, and a rip-off. Spent a week trying to get it to work. Pay here, then pay annual subscription. |
[2011-09-06] A Google User: Not worth it yet This synchronises notebooks with SkyDrive well as advertised. But until you can create new notes, editing is no longer beta, and it supports ink (you can't even view inked notes) this isn't quite worth it yet. |
[2011-09-05] A Google User: Excellent I use this for study, never for data entry. I mean, really, if I'm going to take notes in class, I'm going to use my netbook, not my phone. I can't speak to the new data entry features, which I don't use. But the viewer works exactly as advertised and syncs flawlessly. Five stars. |
[2011-09-02] A Google User: Does what it says it will, which is to painlessly sync onenote workbooks. Desperately needs editing support to be 5 stars. Good support from dev. |
[2011-09-02] A Google User: Fantastic. Let me take all my notes with me. With editing now added and sync to both Skydrive and Dropbox, this is perfect. |
[2011-09-01] A Google User: Great! Reason to move from springpad The app what I am looking for. But sync is not smooth as onenote app in iphone. |
[2011-09-01] A Google User: No ink Editing This application syncs ok with my phone but the editing is limited.. You can type in text and add pictures or audio but you cannot draw on the notes. Will give it 5 stars when this is added.. |
[2011-08-30] A Google User: Needs editing creation capabilities This will be a five for me once there is full editing and creation capbility. |
[2011-08-26] A Google User: Waste of money 1) Does NOT connect to skydrive at all, so cannot choose Onenotes. 2) Still NO editing! |
[2011-08-20] A Google User: Great for viewing, but need edit native edit function Synced flawless when I used Wifi for viewing my notes and documents on my skydrive. Needs native edit, but does what is says in description. |
[2011-08-15] A Google User: What the... No editing of my synced notebooks????? For 8 bucks??? Ripoff!!!! |
[2011-08-05] A Google User: Great application Samsung SII , tried the wifi sync, did not work. It can only snyc to my IPAD device only. Cannot sync to my android phone. Install use dropbox. WORKS |
[2011-08-04] A Google User: big dissapointment.... Reviewed the free version 1st and I liked the fact that I could edit my notes from the tablet itself. However i did not want to deal with their cloud services & it was missing the function to add new pages and/or notebooks. I found that this version could sync directly with SkyDrive, which was a plus for me. Thinking that the paid version would be way better, I bought it. To my surprise, the free version is actually way better...you cannot even edit notes on this one!...In all honesty not worth the $$$ |
[2011-07-29] A Google User: *DO NOT BUY* use the free version Why would you charge for a crippled version of a free app??!?!? Surely the free version should allow viewing only, and then charge people for a version that allows editing! Missed the refund by 2 minutes by the time I discovered this. The website gives the impression that the SE version is 'better' than the free version, and would be worth buying if it was - this isn't the case. |
[2011-07-27] A Google User: doesn't always sync with an existing page that you add too. Not a bad app. Would be better if a bit more reliable and an edit feature. |
[2011-07-23] A Google User: Good tool Really good tool. It works well with password-protected onenote areas in dropbox and skydrive. good work, developers! |
[2011-07-14] A Google User: Waiting forever for editing function.... In my opinion, "working with pages" means you can edit them, otherwise call it a "viewer" |
[2011-07-06] A Google User: Frankly, this will frustrate you more than anything because you want so badly for it to work but it just never does. Tried for three months now. |
[2011-07-04] A Google User: Need implement Note function |
[2011-06-26] A Google User: I finally have access to my OneNote notebooks! Simple UI & easy to navigate - fabulous! |
[2011-06-25] A Google User: Skydrive sync still doesn't work. Use 'alogcat' on the market to send you error logs in. Evo 4g. |
[2011-06-21] A Google User: No Longer Syncs First of all, this app never promised to wirte to OneNote...just read. It may come later but as advertised, it does not allow for editing. But, it has quit syncing well with SkyDrive. It will no longer sync a notebook you already sync. You have to remove it. Add another one. Sync. Remove it. Add the original one back and it works. But if you want an updated notebook, you have to do that again. The app designer said "we are working on it." |
[2011-06-14] A Google User: Cannot create note. Just can view it. Complete wastage of money. No where near to original onenote app of Microsoft for ios. Be careful! |
[2011-06-01] A Google User: No Editing capabilities I am a student that uses onenote and this app DOESN'T help. I have to choose between editing in the free version or fast sync with the paid version. I just assumed that the 8 dollar version would have editing capabilities since it cost 8 friggin dollars, but no. Until, it does....one star |
[2011-05-24] A Google User: Doesn't work on my EVO. |
[2011-05-24] Patrick: Doesn't work on my EVO. |
