[2011-11-17] nathan: Thanks Some minors issues but better then all the others I paid for the donated version to support dev. |
[2011-11-17] jsmall 71: Would be PERFECT with minor improvements. This is the best epub reader available for honeycomb tablets. It baffles me that there are no page turn animations. This is a feature most free readers include. Also, load times have increased after last update. |
[2011-11-16] rob: Best PDF & ePub reader Hides margins on PDFs and remembers settings so can read whole page at a time on my tablet. Would like PC version with sync capabilities. |
[2011-11-11] Joel: Great job. Best reader out there. Dev always have updates to include user feedbacks. |
[2011-11-05] Jael: Excellent Reader. Great reader with great tablet interface! Just needs dual page support and some other issues (which I filed) to be perfect. |
[2011-11-04] Mike: :~) Best ebook reader for Droid X2. Hlwever, night view does not work well. |
[2011-11-02] Irakli: Besr reader The best pdf reader on Android market |
[2011-10-31] Christopher: Even more buggy New version when organizing books has black text for sections so can't choose the right one. Needs an option to import books as organised in a file system so people with 100+ books don't have to do it manually after they have organised them into a file system. Still deletes "My Collection" after adding ~ 100 books which is completly unacceptable, I've added it 3 times now (and I have over 500 books to add)... Great concept but still needs work. |
[2011-10-31] fabian: Great! Awesome on a tablet. Lacks some control on pdf margins, but it's great nonetheless. |
[2011-10-28] Henrik Schack: The best I've tried |
[2011-10-28] Joe: Best epub app on the market It is the best epub app on the market. There are a few mostly minor issues that I wish they'd get fixed before adding new formats like the recent ODPS update. Like being able to highlight partial words, fixing the sluggishness if there are too many annotations, and sliders that go crazy and do not stay accurate to your fingertips. Also, notes and free-drawings are hidden by default. I want to see my notes scribbles by default, not hunt them down. |
[2011-10-27] Human: BEST one out there! Tested on ASUS TF tablet, super fast, stable, great layout, much much better than it's cheaper Korean competitor, ezPDF, worth it! I have sent a request for dual page viewing in landscape mode, to make it even better. |
[2011-10-21] jgariano3: Works with honeycomb again Still missing the dual page mode for tablets, like the book app and google books. Otherwise, very good. |
[2011-10-21] SJM: Worth every cent Best features, regular updates, helpful dev, and so easy to use. I have bought all PDF apps for android (yes all) and Mantano is best in class. |
[2011-10-20] Jerz: Excellent! Only fast reader that rivals Goodreader for iPad |
[2011-10-20] Tomster: The best reading app ever! I'm continually delighted to discover the depth and breadth of Mantano Reader's features. There are frequent and significant updates, well justifying the price. The interface is very well thought out and with a high degree of customization (though little is required). The only thing missing for me is the ability to handle ebooks with 'library DRM', and I'm confident that this feature will show up soon. I'm looking forward to purchasing it again from Amazon when my Kindle Fire arrives! |
[2011-10-17] Olgi: Excellent, beautiful!! Thank you!! :) |
[2011-10-16] mohammad: Simply Great |
[2011-10-11] Zubs: Absolutely the best reader on Android Excellent on a tablet for reading and annotating technical books. Frquent updates for an app already more featureful than any other. |
[2011-10-10] Albert: Great app Excellent app. 4/5 as a PDF reader, 5/5 as an ePub reader. Have purchased twice. Using Lenovo Thinkpad tablet and Samsung Galaxy phone. A+ |
[2011-10-07] Shannon: Aldiko replacement! Nearly perfect. By far the best PDF reader for me. Still lacking ability to create my own catalog links (like in aldiko) but that's the only flaw for me. |
[2011-10-07] Z: Almost perfect!!! I downloaded all the Ebook and PDF apps I could find (ezPDF Reader, RepliGo Reader, EBookDroid, Cool Reader, etc. among many others), and this one is as awesome as ezPDF. The last update added night mode and a tone of other options. Although ezPDF has more features, I cannot stop using Mantano. I feel like having a Lamborghini and a Ferrari. I am happy I have and use them both! I uninstalled all the others. Mantano: ADD A USER SELECTED “DEFAULT” STARTUP FOLDER LIKE EZPDF DOES IN ITS FILE MANAGER, PLEASE!!! |
[2011-10-07] Nicola: So good I bought it twice! I've tried all the rest, Mantano and the team blow all the rest out of the water. A+ for the app and A+ to the devs. |
[2011-10-07] Cynthia: Very good Been using this for a while for leisure reading. Love that it reads from any directory without making dupes. Rooted nook on MIUI |
[2011-10-04] Gary: Great Love the share with evernote feature...saves so much time. Page and highlight sync with tablet would be perfect. |
[2011-10-02] John: malfunctions purchased version keeps force closing |
[2011-09-22] SJR: The Best ePub Reader It's not perfect but it is the best epub reader by a long way. I have tried others but this is my favourite. |
[2011-09-20] Joyce: Excellent eReader - Pdf is best by far out of the ones I tried. Only gripe is that the Bookfinder doesn't cater for Uk customers :( |
[2011-09-11] Anh: Need updates Hope they haven't dropped the ball on this software. Support board is awefully quiet, and no updates for a minth and a half. This could be such a hit. |
[2011-09-09] que: By far the best ebook reader on the market. Areas to i1. The tts reader icon obstructs part of the page when it is active improve are:1. The tts reader icon obstructs part of the page when it is active. This makes it hard to read the first couple of lines along with the tts engine. |
[2011-08-27] HoushaSen: Already best on the market but continue to evolve I have tried Aldiko, MoonReader, CoolReader, FBreader you name it. This is the best of all. Cannot list all the pros, but here are some: 1. Stability 2. Speed 3. UI 4. Ability to highlight and annotate. 5. Save disc space (does not create extra copy of file) 6. Very responsible professional customer support. 7. Highly active support/updates Hope improvement: 1. Some PDF TOC does not work. 2. Some EPUB text becomes truncated. 3. Page turn click (50% time I end up pulling up menu) 4. Maybe CHM? |
[2011-08-25] ernstcomplete: Superb I've been looking for a reader that matches Kindle in functionality, but allows me to side-load pdf and epub books. Mantano Reader exceeded my expectations. It work great on my Nexus S and Iconia Tab. Absolutely love it. |
[2011-08-21] rdj: This is the only reader I could find that approaches the beauty and functionality of iBooks and GoodReader on the iPad. A few rough edges; worth $8! |
[2011-08-12] Narreduen: Thanks, the problem was caused by the new market version. Now it works perfectly |
[2011-08-11] Jerry: This is the only PDF reader that met my needs. I have a PDF with 1400 bookmarks. The only reader that let's me go through bookmarks without swwiping! |
[2011-08-09] Anonymous: Best app on the Android market. |
[2011-08-06] schmolch: A dream come true This reader not only offers a shelf-like UI for all your books, it also supports PDF-files with all the features you could dream of. Zoom-level fixing, centering of the page, margin-cropping and additional things like annotations, notes, a dictionary and more things i have not tried out yet. Im totally WOW'ed. This is a dream come true for anyone enjoying books on their android-device. |
[2011-08-05] Erik: Perfect pdf reader for me I purchased this app due to its great display options (love the margin cropping). The one thing that I was missing was the ability to turn pages using keyboard gestures. I submitted a feature request and it was literally two days later that an update appeared with this feature. I'm sure they probably were already working on this, but now this is the best PDF reader on the market (at least for my purpose). Other devs should learn from these guys in regards to the clean and polished interface. |
[2011-07-24] Daniel: Where's the theme option? Everything else is great. Please advise... |
[2011-07-24] debbnsabbath: ebook reader totally love this book reader. it's better than any other reader in the market. had some problems at first and customer service helped me within hours |
[2011-07-23] Collin: Has potential The trial version worked flawlessly so I purchased it. Now the app FC while reading or opening the same books I used in the trial. Frustrating. |
[2011-07-22] Ryan: Beautiful design. Very helpful and responsive developers. |
[2011-07-22] Adam: You've tried all of the rest, now use the best I tried every reader app on the market, and this one is by far the best. It is easy to use but still gives you the ability to tweak the fonts, colors and page layouts that you want for your eBooks. You can also add your own fonts to further customize the look of your books. It also handles PDFs wonderfully and has text to speech. Maintaining your library is also simple. Mantano will import books from any directory on your device, and does not make a separate copy or directory structure. It just works. |
[2011-07-10] sandy: Trial worked well but paid app repeatedly force closed on x8 |
[2011-07-10] Michiel: Best PDF reader on the market So starting out with the trial I was amazed by how fast this app was, and within a few minutes of use I knew I had found the best reader on the market. The UI looks good and is easy to use, there are tons of features and Mantano has an amazing support group. Definitely worth every penny!! My favourite feature is the zoom-fixing. Just fantastic! |
[2011-07-07] Jeff: By far the best of all of the ereader apps I have tried, and it just keeps getting better and better with a very active and responsive developer. |
[2011-07-07] x-rayman: Just bought for my ere pad transformer to replace standard library. Looks great. 2000 pdf currently loading.... |
[2011-07-06] digitalone: Great PDF reader!! Has potential to be the best reader amongst the lot. |
[2011-07-05] Lakshmanan: 1. can't read drm books if you're not online 2. PDF viewer keeps jumping to random page 3. No way to highlight and turn pages |
[2011-07-02] David: I have tried just about ALL of the available pdf readers and this one is the best - especially if you read ebooks. |
[2011-06-28] EV: Has potential, buggy. Does not remember last read position, font size. IMHO no better than available free readers. |
[2011-06-27] Paul: It keeps forgeting my page and losing bookmarks on my Galaxy Tab. Very frustrating as otherwise it looks to be a great app |
[2011-06-25] Michael: This app is awesome. |
[2011-06-24] loco-ocho: Very nice looking app, easy to use. A bit slow when opening large items, but once open, it's quick. |
[2011-06-12] mchael: This beats aldiko. Reads all PDFs and is the fastest pdf reader. Can flick through pages as if it were a printed book. Well woth $5. Must have. |
[2011-06-04] Henning: Pretty good but some bugs, e.g voice and language select. Faster than ezPdf for files 25mb+, but first creates metadata left in new dir. Galaxy S 2.2 |
[2011-06-01] Phil: My mind has changed on this - the GUI may not be to your taste but customer response is amazing and they're trying very hard to make it a greatproduct |
[2011-05-26] inspirethespirit: They fixed the zoom on pdf's ... Well worth $5 to let me read my drm'ed books ... Thank you thank you! |
[2011-05-20] Henk: Cumbersome. At the moment Ezpdf looks like a better option. |
[2011-05-17] Eva: Excellent software for reading and study I really like having a notepad and and going directly to a page of the book from a note or a word in the lexicon. Very handy for my use (I am teacher and researcher), it allows me to list the information that I found interesting in all the documents and books that I read for my research. I also like the "highlight" mode that allows you to quickly highlight some excerpts. PDF and EPUB are very well supported and the "pan and zoom", "automatic crop", "adjust-to-width", "scroll-lock" are fast and fun to use |
